Affirmative action, DEI hires have risen to high positions now. A Dean and faculty at Harvard accused of plagiarism. Toronto police supervisor promotes black officers because he's racist.

You do realise in the UK the taxi industry is regulated by each city's own sets of rules! In Merseyside (Liverpool) where I'm from, there are 4 different Boroughs and their rules and regulations on getting your badge are wildly contrasting and in 2009 I had to find a way to raise the funds to get my badge, whilst several immigrants on my course got the whole thing free! I became friends with a couple of them, lovely people and in no way was I hating on them because they got their training and badges for free, but was angry and bemused by the governments treatment of UK nationals in need, compared to immigrants in need.

Bare in mind, the people working in these centres are extremely uneducated on EU law and I had to argue with them many times because I WAS A PERMANENT RESIDENT having lived/worked and graduated in Britain (15 years).

      Immigrants who arrived in this country since 2000 contribute 20 billion pounds more than they take. 63% of immigrants are educated with a university degree, compared to around 20% of uk natives. They contribute 64% more in taxes than they take in benefits, and immigrants are 43% less likely than people born in the uk. Now that I have disproved any theory of immigrants being economically damaging, the only other argument against immigration is one referring to sovereignty (a nice way of saying xenophobia or racism) in which case there is no point arguing as you must clearly be ignorant or prejudiced. Vote leave is a shambles, very few or none of their claims are true (that's not to say that remain are any better) and they prey on the ignorant to vote for them. 1991.. Gerrisheimer(a German company), through a Company Director, not only stole a Union agreed payment annually made to 220 workers in a Company which Gerrisheimer had bought a few years before but on top of this, a year or so later, without warning they upped sticks and moved their operation to a sister company in London which had employed Indian workers. Their nationality really didn't matter. THEY COULD HAVE BEEN ALIENS FROM ANOTHER PLANET Will.
      Those workers were SMASHED and CRUSHED because of a German Company being able to buy out an Anglo/French company.
      As tears rolled down faces of my fellow workers i never forgot this happening. To say this was happening countrywide would be a huge understatement.
      .....i traced a shedload of those workers...and not a single one voted REMAIN.

      Are foreigners responsible for employers not sending out rejection letters?????

    • @mclovin8739
      @mclovin8739 10 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      portsanity Absobloodylutely, rejection letters are not sent due to the paper shortage thanks to all the benefit forms, letters and council tax demands sent out to immigrants.
      It is well known that immigrants like nothing better than to steal toilet paper at every opportunity they get, they send the rolls home where success is judged by the amount of toilet rolls you have.
      It is near on impossible to become an astronaut as immigrants are sucking this country dry leaving next to nothing for the British space program.
      Today I tripped over an uneven pavement slab, this is most likely caused by the wear and tear of immigrants walking to the job centre to claim yet more benefits, they do this on their way to work at the space program centre which is currently suffering from a major toilet roll shortage.

      portsanity Well like a lot of the white working classes this man has most likely seen his society change beyond his control and expectations, so yes he is feeling rather embittered by it all. Like we all are. But you obviously don't share in the experience of any of this. Instead you just offer that usual tired old cry of racism that we have all heard so many, many times before whenever we try to express our dissatisfaction at being flooded out yet again with wave upon wave of cheaper foreign workers rocking up to our jobs/service/districts. but of course we are wasting our fucking breath. The powers that be are not interested in the slightest because the entire process is just so damned profitable to there own greedy white privileged class.
      Perhaps you are from immigrant stock yourself or perhaps you are from the white privileged class who are perpetrating this bullshit to begin with and is not really affected in the negative by it any of it just yet.

    What has become of the UK when indigenous people turn against their own , is it because they are benefiting from the chaos. The man may have not been articulate but he was desperate and yet everyone clapped with glee when he left, so this means everyone is really happy to see him go without a job or a place to live and to eternally suffer. He did not come across as racist to me he just said the facts
    but the racism was implied by a London Jewish immigrant who actually said nothing of any relevance.I'm an immigrant who has integrated and fully support the indigenous population who have always been welcoming , the British are creative,humorous,intelligent people, there has got to be a time when

      +Abu Jabbar I disagree with the whole racial shit of saying one race is smarter than another. That's not true afaik, circumstances dictate education etc, not race. But the thing is, in Britain people and their families pay into a safety net for other Britons, immigrants then come over and take advantage of it despite never providing anything FOR Britain or Britons.
      Secondly, there are many government programs to help immigrants succeed and prosper, yet a minority of programs for native Britons. This is the issue. Many immigrants are also given social housing despite never providing anything to deserve it or warrant it other than being an immigrant, generally with a large family.
      Second this with many immigrants having no desire to assimilate into British culture and society, impose their own values and cultures, or bring cultures, values and religions that conflict with British culture and identity and here you are.

      @M S I think the issue really is why is the government giving jobs to foreigners when there's people at here who were born here that need work. It is not racist, in my opinion, to say that the government should look after it's own first. Now, obviously we now have brexit, so we will see whether my argument holds up. It may well be that white working class are unemployed simply because they want to be, or because they are too lazy. If that is the case, then I am more than prepared to hold my hands up and admit I'm wrong. But until then, I cannot believe that people are happy to sit around doing nothing their whole lives. Look at him in his eyes, his anger, why would he be angry if he knows that he's just been lazy? It's all perception I guess. As I said, we will soon see what is perception vs reality.

      Firstly, its immigrants not inmigrants. Firstly, that's not true, the guy who has Jewish grandparents is child of immigration and with the Daily mail editor, shes Australian (she's most likely going to be British from decent). The issue is there's a huge surge in austerity which cannot be linked to immigration, people like him are simply targeting the wrong group. The conservative party are cutting funding to local councils in turn creates these issues. Immigration puts more money in to the state then it takes out, I think If we isolated ourselves the situation would get worse. The government isn't just some grand conspiracy to ruin everyone's lives and keep us under the heel, honestly that is beyond childish. Many of our politicians could have chosen career paths that would have granted them astronomical salaries, but they didn't, they chose politics because the majority of them have a passion for the country and want to help it in the way they believe to be beneficial (even if they are mistake in their methodology). Yes there have been anomalous politicians who took advantage of expenses etc. but many MPs receive a wage that is so disproportionally small to their environment that they can barely afford to live in their London constituencies.

      Also David Aaronovitch showed himself to be as callous as they come at 3:45 "just because you perceive something doesn't make it true." what he really meant was 'You don't agree with my opinion so it isn't valid.' and he was dismissing the guy for just stating facts. Only a narcissistic prick, who has had all the advantages of a good home, loving parents who have provided, guided and encouraged them. Gone to a decent school and university while still being supported, and then got into their chosen field with the help of family and tutors, and then believes they did it all by themselves could talk such bollocks as you.
      Never imagining that if you was in that position, your mum might of been a single young mum who drank while pregnant, so you come out with a very low IQ. Or that your parents might not encourage you, infact be the opposite if you show the slightest intelligence, insulting you as being an uppity little prick who thinks he's better than everyone, so you learn from an early age you have to change that kind of behaviour to fit in your family. Or that even then the school you go to is shit and doesn't teach you what you need for top grades. Then if you do pass how you going to pay for a flat and food and everything you need for university while you're there? People like you live in a dream world of selfmade propaganda, when you've been spoon fed and proped up all your life.

    Listen to the patronising basically telling the homeless guy its just your perception and you must be stupid, That is the reality for him and he is not stupid and that right there is the whole problem with uncontrolled immigration, it does not affect the political/media metropolitan elite, if anything most of them benefit from it so they just try and dismiss it and turn their noses up at the working classes who are the ones really affected. There is an enormous over supply in the unskilled labour market which has kept working class wages down, Ive been waiting on a council house now for 6 years there is that much demand and immigrants with families who come in go above me on the list so ive basically no chance of getting a council house, Our A and E is regularly packed and you have to wait 4-5 hours, NHS dentist you have no chance and private dentist takes weeks to get an appointment and doctors surgery isnt as bad but it still takes days, good school places are very hard to get and our primary has had to extend 3 times already, unskilled jobs for the teenagers to get a start in life are very hard to get and its not a coincidence youth unemployment has doubled since we had open borders and we simply cannot continue letting anyone from Europe come and settle here, You cant blame immigrants for wanting to come here and better themselves and most i know are nice, genuine hard working people, i also know some who have came here and worked the benefits system and you should not be allowed to get housing or benefits until youve worked and paid in here for at least 5 years for me, although i dont believe its a high percentage regarding benefits but the numbers coming in are unsustainable and it has to have some form of control. It was never a major issue before for me.

    Passing a message from a spiritual friend of mine:
    "I'm from Australia, but my Dad is from Britain, so we would travel over all the time when I was a kid to visit my grandparents. I went back to Britain last year for the first time in about a decade, the previous time I had been 14 years old, and I was so shocked at the difference a decade has made to Britain. Especially in London, there was barely anything that was remotely English about London. My dad was shocked too. He immigrated to Australia in 1989, and then the population of the UK was 57 million, in 2014 it is 64 million. That is an insane increase in population. How is that sustainable? Not only unsustainable, but completely illogical, countries only function well when there is a sense of unity and cultural identity. When people feel no connection to the country they're in, a country becomes weak and chaotic. Why do you think Americans are so against paying taxes? It's because the country is so separated with vastly different cultures and identities and immigration levels varying from state to state, that people hate the idea of paying taxes that will be used by a community they do not know or understand. Why is it that Scandinavians have previously been such high tax paying countries with such amazing education systems and hospitals? Because there was cultural and ethnic unity that made people willing to have higher taxes. Countries can't function when there isn't a shared identity. Immigration should be kept only for refugees, the people that genuinely need refuge from persecution. They are also the people that are most likely to adapt to their adopted country, because they have been rescued by their adopted country from the country they were from. Also, the divide between developed and undeveloped countries will only keep increasing if we keep taking their doctors and their university graduates.?"

You don't constructively explain yourself or your opinion you just shoot down everyone else and tell them you disagree with them or that they're ignorant... so share with us some of your wisdom then? what is the truth of this situation ? from what I heard there had been a 30% drop in the indigenous population and a 200% increase in immigrants. Do you think it's fair that the doors should essentially open for everyone and anyone to move in to the extreme that there is a 200% increase leaving children without school places and adults without jobs and for the government to turn a blind eye and anyone who even questions this in a reasonable and educated way is shot down as a racist or bigot or ignorant without an actual reasonable response. I am yet to hear/read an educated reply to the mans questions, only bitching and moaning that it shouldn't have been said. Nobody is blaming the immigrants, this isn't some mob movement with pitchforks in hand and burning torches. The government is to blame and something needs to be done, the way people seem to react to addressing the problem of immigration is the immediate association with bigoted views and that by some means we mean to send anyone who is not indigenous back when that is not the case. Stop immigration until employment rates are back to normal and the indigenous population is fully taken care off, because at the moment we aren't and in some places there voices are quickly becoming the minority, silenced and hushed at the mention of immigration.

      @samuelgreenrod1812 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ronnie Swoleman Why are you so scared of the word? Accept that youre a racist and therefore undermine the argument. But no you wont do it, because you know that there is no acceptable time to discredit people due to their nationality. You do not want people in this country that aren't naturally British citizens, im sorry but there is nothing not racist about that.

      Ok, you argument is based on two false premises:
      1. You seem to think that there is a difference between races, which in itself is a racist world view.
      2. You don't seem to realise that complaining about EU immigration, which will be people of the same race as the ethnic majority in England, has nothing to do with race, obviously, since they are the same race.
      TL;DR, you're a projecting racist, trying to mask your own bigotry when pointing the finger at others.

    • @samuelgreenrod1812
      @samuelgreenrod1812 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      So with no difference between races you still want those who aren't british to leave britain? Do you hear yourself? Yes there are differences between races: different cultures. The difference between a black man and a whtie man is the colour of their skin. Do i criticize the black man for being black? No, I don't. Therefore I do not discriminate baed on race.
      And so what is the discussion here? Everyone is the same? Then what right have you to complain about a culture? You moan on and on about immigration, then say I'm a racist for standing up for them!

      And, about time too. Some of us aren't threatened/concerned by the appearance of cultural diversity on our screens.
      Dig deep enough (try it) and most of us will find that their are immigrants somewhere in our pasts.

      Huge brainfart you mean because he isn't good enough in comparison. Jobs aren't 'stolen', whoever gets a job gets a job and if anything, immigrants are discriminated against in this country regarding employment. Being an indigenous person doesn't give you a right to a job, it's like getting into university, you get in if you got a good personal statement and the required grades, if you miss it and an immigrant gets them, you can't expect to be granted free entry because you're indigenous. Jobs are about having skills for them, not being from a certain colour.
