I stumbled across your channel a couple of months ago and have loved everything I've seen so far. I’m really grateful for the A/S Doc build-it was similar to something I was working on, and it helped fill some gaps in my own approach. I'd love to see a more in-depth video on how to handle some of the tougher matchups
Gabriel Holguin here. As a long time follower it felt amazing seeing my name in there. Thanks agsin for all you do and the help you've provided through this time. Keep up the amazing work.
Glad you had an amazing time dude! Micheal Majors was the guy I was keeping my eye on, for sure one of the best players of the event and I knew he was going to get far !
Appreciate the shoutout, that little blurb doesn't even begin to describe to people how back and forth grindy that game was in round 9. I unfortunately was in hell bracket after this with RB r1, and then RB or RB r2 coming up and bricked out my game 3. GGs again Dan, was fun meeting and playing with you! if you are at the LCQ definitely hit me up!
Thanks for the coverage! Long time listener and its crazy to see my name on your stream. Neat that someone used my list on Sunday! Thanks for your content.
@@TheForbiddenMountainThat is awesome! The deck did some ridiculous things. I was really curious to see what people thought of the list due to it not running many of the staples.
@@jacobschmidt1264 Thats actually why i wanted to try it. No maui, medusa, beep, tipo, tala, oja, hfig, dime. Ive been a duck and Chicha enjoyer all set. I couldn't ever build something like that myself. i went 5-0-3 in the sunday side event with no idea what i was doing. My three losses all had one thing in common- no hiram and multiple chicha with no quill. I didnt get to play any RB mirrors but i did 2-0 BS which i couldnt believe. Curious on your thoughts about the mirror. Going songless in the gs meta was also brilliant.
@@davesolberg Thanks! Yeah, we can chat sometime. I am bogged down by homework, but I can talk to you about my mulligan starts, matchups, etc. =) I am glad you enjoyed it too! The deck is super fun to play.
As a A/E Tempo player, the deck plays super well into Red/Blue, and with the right pilot, can give Steel/Song a hard time. Kits and Esla's are the main fight against diablo, with ursula stealing songs. Crab deals with cove. It is just a though deck to pilot and requires a lot reps and understanding the play lines and muligan for each match up. I unfortunately didn't pair into any RB or Green/Steel at all in Seattle. 2-0 all my steel/song, and Ruby/Am were just battles of resources, a typical amethyst matchup. most A/E players took out lyle which is great into Aggro, which I unfortunately did pair into quite a bit.
Hello, good video, do you know when Lorcana officially arrives in Latin America? We are waiting for this TCG that is very fun and beautiful. Thank you so much.
@@TheForbiddenMountain AWESOME! 🔥🙏🏻 would love to see a shoutout to our 🇵🇷 players Hopefully we changed the way people see locations or the game in general. Thanks for the coverage
Would you keep a Doc in your opening hand? It seems like when I do often end up with multiple Docs or possibly too many uninkables, which is not optimal.
It def depends on the exact hand fwiw. But often times I’ll mulligan lighter to attempt to avoid double doc hands. When I’m doubt drawing the second isn’t the end of times. Can also just drop a 1/3 that gains some lore and is annoying haha.

I absolutely love how you ended this video, this game is awesome and it has its highs and lows. Go to sleep, wake up, and get on to the next one.

Great coverage of the decks!!
Missed that insane Amber Steel locations 💪🏽
I didn’t miss it haha, just wanted to save it for something else 🤣
@@TheForbiddenMountainahhhhhh 👀 I see you. Love it sir 💪🏽
I wish I’d missed it in the tournament because it completely demolished me 😭😭😭😭
@@siahmn sheeesh. That deck was insane! I played against it in top 32. I Barely survived 😭

Big oversight by only looking at one Emerald/Amethyst, Take a 2nd look at Sean Keaton’s top 8 deck, it’s very different
Very fair!
It was great to meet y'all. Thank you for the content.
Thanks for the shoutout forbidden Mountain ❤❤
But it was your deck list from Vegas that inspired me to play the deck ❤❤
Congrats!!

With the set 6 releases so far, do you think ES still goes up, or takes a dive next format?
Still has a lot of the best cards in the game. Early thoughts are maybe it’s not the “best” but I think it’s still a contender for sure
So you’re just gonna ignore the elephant in the room? Top 32 A/S locations 😂 also known as Puerto Rico dot Deck?🇵🇷
Its our Pride and Joy
Saving it for the next video!!! I promise haha

@@CarlosColon-g2qHola Carlos! Sabes como me podría comunicar con Álvaro? Fui su opponents en el too 32 y quisiera tenerlo en mi canal. Gracias!
I made day 2 with ruby amethyst and had to play against green steel 3x. I'm not sure if I make it through swiss without 4x Elsa's.
She’s is a house!

Fucking love that Doc
Soo good!
Emerald Steel, the deck many hide during locals but bust out for the easy wins at bigger competitions.
