    "Heinrich is whining mein herr."
    An incredibly detailed and well presented tutorial - all killer, no filler; just as it should be.

    For the viewers. Febi sell a kit with the bearing, hub bolt & the rear bolts. The bearing comes in two versions with 3 or 4 bolts.

    Nice video
    little tip : also put smal amount off coppergrease on mounting screw voor brake disc..... these always rust stuck!
    You can also put a marking om the bolts to see if your at the rigth degrees.

    What size tool are you using to open the 3 bolts at the back of the bearing assembly please? Need to order before I start the job. Thank you.

    I was the idiot that ordered the wrong part, got the 4 bolt one instead of the 3 bolt as ive got the 1ZF smaller discs… next weekend it is lol

    • @autoknight747

      Easily done. Those PR codes really are the key to correct part selection on these cars!

      @@ukguy20 Look for a sticker attached to the body work under the boot carpet. On the sticker you will find a series of codes. After you've taken a photo of the sticker, hit up google for AUDI A3 8P PR Codes and make a comparison with the codes on your cars. The codes are essentially the configuraton of your car.

    • @autoknight747
      @autoknight747  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ukguy20 The smaller engine variants usually have the 3 bolt hub and smaller brake set up. To be sure though, check out the data sticker in the boot (same sticker should be at front of service book on VW group cars). You will find a whole line of codes. Google Audi PR codes list and you can translate them all and understand your full vehicle spec.

      @@ukguy20 Just checked my data sticker. I keep a screenshot of it. I have 1ZF if that helps!

      BS got one is 15 years old no probs at all...everything depends on how good the car was serviced in the past or NOT!
      This goes for all cars
      Great car audi A3 !
