I got a vacuum pump thing for getting the air out when I change my brake fluid. It's a game changer for sure.
For grips i personally use rubbing alcohol to slip them on. It makes it just slick enough, and it dries SUPER fast
I know this is silly but I've never done a K&N air filter before and your video before helped me a ton changing the one on my first old harley haha

Thanks for posting this man I just got my first bike a fz07 with 3500 on it I put 500 so far and the manual recommends at the 4000 mark to do these things I would have trouble with without your video!

It would make more sense to me to do the furthest away line first, but I'm sure it really does not matter all that much either way.
Just wondering, how come you don’t bleed from the furthest point from the master cylinder first? Always the way I was shown and have done, just wondered why you do it different

Would you mind telling us maybe in the comment section what lenght you are using for your brake system (Front + Rear), because I am highly interested in changing it up into something more sporty (Steel braided brake system), but couldn't find any information about the lenght intself on the internet! Belray dot 5.1 is not corrosive or hygroscopic and safe for abs. Never have to change it.

a non-return, one-way valve also works for flushing the brakes.
don't throw away brake fluid just because it's an open container... that's just laughable. use a Ziploc with silica packets if you're paranoid.... it takes a lot of water for the brakes to fail due to steaming, there is no way for that much moisture to contaminate a container with the cap on. plus the real issue would be corrosion because of moisture content..
20 yrs ago the brake lines and connectors were manufactured in a different way. moisture would permeate through the hoses and into the fluid when the fluid cooled down. today, the moisture content is not the major issue anymore: it's the additive package depletion... the content of copper dictates fluid replacement (>200ppm for modern brakes).

Cuz I don’t glue em. The glue is shit if you ever plan to change the grips again. So safety wire holds tight so the don’t spin. Hope that helps.
@@TheGardenSnake Still don't need the wire at all, they stick fine without glue. A little brake fluid to get them on quick and easy, once that evaporates your grips will be solid.
