I guess when the ramps are finished the bridge has to be renovated or renewed 😛

Aah you plan a Trip.. come here to brandenburg enjoy our relax-bridge an we have a lot of more broken Bridges here in our City.. brandenburg was built on some Islands in the middle of the havel river - but nobody cares about the infrastructure - 500m behind this bridge there is another broken one and 4 more in the City - come here and try to not get angry while you drive in brandenburg - best way here is go by bike

About the permits, which wasn't subtitled: the bridge and the ramps are "separate" things, and they need their own "permits" (for whatever reason). However, they only applied for the bridge permit and built that, and since bureaucracy takes time, they couldn't just apply for the ramps after building the bridge, wait a couple days, and start working...

There is an episode called "Realer Irrsinn: Camping-Streit an der Ostsee (2006)" where for once not the administration behaves weird but the people themselves. Did check, the automatic translations into english seem to be understandable.
Would recommend it, it is a fun watch :D

OK, they forgot to request the permit to build the ramps. Sh*t happens! But the bridge itself is what Germany is famous for: precise and efficient high tech. Regards from the Federal Republic of Banana 🤣
