Appreciate the review as I was wondering about these. Looks like I missed out on the initial wave though. 🤷♂️ More importantly, I noticed the TF2 socks in the thumbnail!! When do those drop? Did I miss it?? Also, really sorry to hear about your dad. Takes more than just physical strength to share something like that. I'm glad you've built a platform where you feel comfortable letting us know something so personal. Wishing you and your family the best moving forward.
Great review! I was wondering how the fit would be with the extended midsole. I was hoping it wouldn’t be too narrow, especially since Nike specifically said in their press release that the shoe was designed with a wider forefoot.
Do you have other favorites for athletic and lateral movements like the ones you mentioned work well in this shoe? Looking for something new for sport (soccer) specific training / lifting, but not running
I’m wondering if they fit like other Nike models as far as sizing goes. I wear a 10 in Kobe’s and those are pretty snug, just nervous to make an order for them
I’m a fan of LeBron, and I’m really interested in these shoes. Do you think they are suitable for CrossFit? I’m torn between buying these or the Metcon 9.
Thanks for the review. If I’m doing more plyometrics that involve lateral movements and jumps than weight lifting , should I get this or the Free Metcon 6?
Idk what these ppl talking bout these are fire! And it’s a LeBron shoe!! How do you hate on a big swoosh?? Lmaooo the bigger the better it looks amazing!! Missed out on it might pay resell!!
Was looking at getting these for my first training shoe but doesn't look like that anymore. What would you recommend for a flat footed person that uses a custom orthotics for knee problems, I am mostly doing strength/plyometric training squats, jumps, and sprints. I already have running shoes.
@@thatfitfriend Thanks! I am currently wearing Vomero 5's (Not really a sport shoe) but I take of my shoes for lifting like squats. For runners I wear the 2E version of the New Balance 1080v13. They fit perfectly for my feet with and without the custom orthotic.
Put these through 3 bootcamp style workouts and while they did get more comfortable over time my biggest issue was the upper volume. I generally like booty-style training shoes, but due to the upper material, which doesn't stretch much, i found them really rubbing the tops of my feet. I hope they continue the line and make improvements, but these were a no-go for me. Also, upon a second viewing, I can't stop laughing at the line, "The booty doesn't have a ton of stretch". (Sorry, I'm 7 on the inside.)
@@capt1941 yeah these don’t give too much because of that tpu. Thank you for the update Bro, I’m so happy someone noticed that. I always drop stupid comments when talking booties and no one ever notices 😂😂
Shoutout from Brazil, Jake!
Great reviews! One of your videos helped me choose my next CrossFit trainer!
All the best to you and your channel!
@@brunoossouza ay, that’s awesome! Stoked to hear that and glad I could help 🤝

Didn't miss the sock drop! That's coming soon, promise!
Thank you, brother. Been a weird season of life ngl. Y'all make it possible to do so
@@thatfitfriend- Nike restocked my size, so I decided to pull the trigger. Now, I just need some TF2 socks to wear them properly. 😉 Stay tuned.

It’s a wider forefoot, but the taper and lateral upper gives it the snugger fit. Blockier feet are likely going to hate the fit 😬
Great review as always.....would you use these shoes like for everyday use or for long walks ?
You could and they should suffice for it! Thank you

Dropset, Nano X4, and Reign 6 can all be great options! Dropset would be my number one pick if it's a lot of lifting and plyos.

You should be fine going 10 in these, too, if the Kobe fit well in that size imo.

@@motulautech231 I would pass on em for that!
@@thatfitfriend What shoes do you recommend for CrossFit?
@@motulautech231 AH! I missed this. Did you end up making a purchase? I have a ton recs if you didn't.
@@thatfitfriend I haven't purchased it yet. I'm interested in the TYR CXT-2
@ cxt 2 is solid! Go wide if you’re nervous about width
Rad one and born prim savage 1 are also great all rounders

I'd go Free Metcon 5 over the 6 if you can find em and you're thinking Nike. These can also work if you find em in your size!
hope you can review "puma disperse xt3", they are on sale for 30 usd at my country
They're on my list!

Haha, feel like it's the classic Nike/LeBron polarization. You either love em or hate em!

What do you wear now with daily wear and running shoes? How’s their fit?
Can suggest better picks with that context

Are these good for squats and deadlifts?
They’re mid. Can work for stuff up to 315 for squats/405 for deads but wouldn’t push much past that in em
@@thatfitfriend how are they for walking a few miles at a time?
those are ugly
@@victordub def not the prettiest trainers on the block. The tri-materials are eh. Curious if a better colorway would make them more attractive
