Classic car shows are so predictable. They are filled with trailer queens, full of doo dads, and almost all feature the usual over-chromed V8 enginezzzzzzz. I went to one car show some years back that had two cars of originality. There was a classic 'high boy' with a Ferrari engine, not a V8 but a 4 or 6, and a mildly customized 1950 Ford coup, maybe a business coup, pretty small. Yeah, well? When is the last time you saw a car like this with a Chrysler slant 6 under the hood? Crowds liked both cars. There was one other car that was a fun look, not sure if it was an original idea, a Porsche 911 from the 70s with a Chevrolet 350 instead of the usual engine.
