We use extra virgin, cold pressed coconut oil as our body moisturizer and consume at least there're tablespoons per day in a tea with lemon and raw honey. My whole family has great skin as a result. And we experience many of the other health benefits as well.
Sherrice Sledge-Thomas how do you consume it please. I have some I just don't want to swallow it unless I know it's safe. Mine is hard and in the frigerator.
@@lujitsu1251 coconut oil is antifungal and antibacterial so you can keep it out of the refrigerator, I do. This way it's easier to take a spoon full and eat it. I take a spoonful, like if I were eating peanut butter and I just nibble on it. I didn't like it at first because it tasted greasy but then I watched a video on how coconut oil is made and it's literally pressed out oil from the coconut so now I just imagine that I'm eating coconut meat in a different form. Using it on the body is nice but really greasy, so I will put some on my face and then wipe it off with a napkin. Believe me, you'll leave plenty left on your skin.

this really does work, i get mine at the grocery store for about $5 and it will last a year just put it on after you wash your face. it also makes your hair shine
Good info, I've been using VCO for years, but I very strongly disagree about applying any type of moisturizer right after washing or while skin is still damp!! All that does is cause rancid, bacteria laden, damaging, aging mess in your skin. Wait until skin has had plenty of time to thoroughly dry for awhile before applying any moisturizer or oil!
***** From numerous reports, dermatologist friends, from being a biology/biochemistry student etc, & from common sense. I don't mean to sound insulting, but it's just an old tradition to believe that water will "soak in" to your skin when trapped under a layer of oil :P It doesn't. It will just turn rancid if anything. In order to be able to soak into skin, water/moisture must first be emulsified! Which equals LOTION. Not just oil & water. Where did you get the idea that plain old water will "soak in" to skin? Have you ever seen it do that? No. You only see it shrivel your skin if left in water too long, & water on its own dries out skin.
***** I make my own products & have studied skincare on my own, from a biochemistry angle, for decades. I'm older but look much younger than I am. Also there's an amazing new product out called...
***** ...called Tatcha, by Victoria Tsai. Probably is expensive though, lol. Very interesting stuff. www.google.com/m?q=victoria%20skin%20care%20japanese%20geisha&client=ms-opera-mobile&channel=new
***** Water needs an EMULSIFIER to soak into skin, even if that's just plain old lecithin, or something more complex/sophisticted (or so says my friend's friend who was a degreed chemist for Max Factor for many years before he retired).
Coconut oil often causes breakouts and a good way to go about getting pimples is by putting this oil directly onto your face. It does depend on your skin type, but my mother has quite dry skin and after using the oil (for wrinkles) she got breakouts and blackheads. Same thing happened to me and some other people I know. It is amazing for you hair and to cook with I can't deny that, but I think people put so much emphasis on how amazing coconut oil is for your skin and In actual fact it may only work with certain skin types.
Well maybe it doesn't work for you, but it does work for some people. It works well for me, and I love it. I mix coconut oil with Argan Oil and it really makes a difference on my skin. I don't have any breakouts, and it does help the wrinkles too.
As I said, It may only work with certain skin types.I guess you confirmed that.. A lot of skin types don't work well with it because their skin produces a lot of oil naturally. Its just been my experience and those around me who used it on their skin. If it works well for you-great, I wish it worked for me too! :)
I'm not sure how your mother had breakouts and blackheads if she has dry skin. That should only happen if she has overly oily skin. There are plenty of other oils she can use, if she has a problem with coconut. I have sensitive combination skin and have no problems with breakouts when using coconut oil
I found out im allergic to coconut oil, I was making my homemade chocolate with it and it caused inflammation of my liver! maybe it wasn't suitable for consuming, it was Holland and Barretts perfectly pure natural raw virgin, maybe this isn't the correct one ?
Susan Ripley Oh I can believe it. There are allergies to all kinds of natural plants/herbs/etc. You may not have the same reaction just using it as a facial cleanser though, maybe your liver just couldn't handle it. Good thing you found out so easily. Some people go forever trying to find out what they're allergic to
@Jasmine Foster Yes it helps, i have tried it like 3 years ago and i’m still using it. remember that you can no expect any miracles when you are ageing, especially don’t trust any creams, serums etc. You need solve the problem from inside, not outside. This is one of a few things that helps and trust me I've tried millions of them because i need to look good/young for my job. And the brand you are talking about is great i’m using the same. It is expensive, but quality products are not cheap and this is your beauty and health we are talking about so don’t be cheap.
this has been around for ages coconut oil It has just become popular for westerners we use the oil for hair moisturising cooking and cos we have coconuts back home in the islands it's free lol
l usually wash my face with dove soap and cold water only and pat it dry to put a little coconut oil on it and it help me hope it help you,and ill be 61 soon. and that's all i use.give a try and if it works stick to it and nothing else.and i dont know why but i always buy the pink soap.
Maxelder Argan Cream is truly lovely! The directions tell you that a little goes a long way due to the light mousse texture- that is right on. I have a feeling this eye cream will last a long time because it truly does go a long way. It's very moisturizing and feels great. I highly recommend this cream w--nyarganoil-c
This is not just for wrinkles this is GREAT for acne (&scars)longer eyelashes, thicker eyebrows and lip moisturizer all at the same time by just applying a few drops on your face.
I use unrefined Shea Butter, because it doesn't clog the pores, and it works at evening out the skin, moisturizing, minimizing wrinkles and keeping them from forming.
honestly, i use this as my facial cleanser every day. i massage my face 10 minutes with virgin coconut oil and all the whiteheads come out. black heads take a week to bulge. my face look younger and whiter. im now 44 years old but never have used any cosmetics on my face except when there's an occasion.
I benign knowing that from a little girl. Originally from Guyana South America, and that's how my mom made coconut milk, to cook, she use to put it on our hair and skin
I use it on everything,it is awesome , especially if you are going through menopause,it helps your skin from being so dried out, awesome on your hair as well, good to add to coffee or salads or really any dish
I use this as a moisture Ultra Organic Argan Oil Treatment and I think it helps my skin stay young looking. I would highly recommend this product and I thank my friend who told me about this product. Great skin cream to help prevent wrinkles. I found it by searching on Google as an Argan rain.
This is a well done and informative video, but it is hard to take seriously when she says "suppler" which is not a word. I now feel like the spelling police, but it should be "more supple".
Julie Kent I used to work in a Newspaper in Composing and Editorial. While you are technically correct, we need to remember that language changes. Sometimes very quickly, and words, adaptations of words once they enter popular speech patterns become "real" words. And even though you and I may have our eyes tick when this happens, we have to be brave and embrace language change. I have been hearing this adaptation of supple a lot sadly. I think we may be stuck with it. Hang in there and read some classic literature! It always helps me feel better.
Wow, thnks 4 making this vid. I knew about some of the benefits of coconut oil but this is AMAZEBALLS!!!!! I'm definitely going 2 try all of these tips. Thnks again again:0)
Martha Barrett Lol in other words, no results yet. Im beginning to think all you really need to to be well hydrated, exercise daily, and eat healthy. I also heard somewhere swimming 3-5 times a week helps with anti-aging.
Damian Blue well I do have results, I quit smoking, and I cut off sugar, I only use evaporated cane sugar now. And I drink homemade smoothies. And I exercise 3-4 x's a week. So yes this vid helped a lot. And I drink water, I really don't like the taste of water but I drink it anyway.
Martha Barrett well its not exactly your tongue that you want to be healthy. if taste is a problem you can add lemon or orange to your water. but its good youve made progress. i havnt tried this coconut thing and dont think i will lol
I've never used coconut oil as a moisturizer, just a facial cleanser and it works great. Grapeseed oil actually is the closest to our own skin Ph and using it as a moisturizer won't clog pores. I wouldn't recommend leaving coconut oil on the skin for long periods because it is saturated and if the temperature gets too cold, it will actually harden. NOT a good thing :)
I am confused, pls help. You said coconut is cold pressed to retain full nutrients. But that is not coconut oil. To obtain the oil, you have to cook the "cold pressed liquid" which is coconut milk, at temperatures above 212d fah. After cold press we get coconut oil without cooking?
I have yet to try this oil craze, but the cream Im using now has vitamin E in it already and has the new swiss apple stem cell craze. Has anyone seen results from the swiss apple stem cells? So far neutratone is working on my skin and minimizing my wrinkles but I'm not sure if its because of the stem cells or the other ingredients.
APPARENTLY "suppler" is considered a word. supple (redirected from suppler) Also found in: Medical, Legal, Wikipedia. sup·ple (sŭp′əl) adj. sup·pler, sup·plest 1. Readily bent, folded, or manipulated; pliant: a wallet made of supple leather. See Synonyms at flexible. 2. Moving and bending with agility; limber: a supple gymnast. 3. Adaptable to changing circumstances: "The supple ambiguities of English are a large part of its genius" (Mark Abley). tr. & intr.v. sup·pled, sup·pling, sup·ples To make or become supple. [Middle English souple, from Old French, from Latin supplex, suppliant; see plāk- in Indo-European roots.] sup′ple·ness n. sup′ply, sup′ple·ly adv.
I grow up on the island I never seen coconut tree being spray with anythings .Coconut tree is one off the hardest tree that exist on this earth. The roots are able to grow in sandy soil with salt in it.To claim that coconut oil has to be organic is a question mark.
Irene Schiller : You have a good point. I say the same thing about organic coffee (at least from Colombia ) and bananas. I've lived in both growing areas. Never saw any official inspectors in either place. The trick is that when the buyers receive the goods, they declare their portion of the boatload as being organic if they have the certification. That doesn't mean the rest of the bananas aren't organic. Just not certified. Same with a lot of coffee and Lord only knows how much other stuff. But not all "organic " is a lie. I'm sure most of it is genuine because farmers who DO grow organically are usually very passionate about doing a good thing.
I doubt whether the women of the South Pacific ask their doctors if they can consume coconut oil. They live long healthy lives eating lots of the good saturated fat from coconut oil. They also don't get the negative effects of the sun even with lots of exposure. Coconut oil does protect people from the sun, at least to some degree.
I bought in Kurnool (A.P)after using 500 ml I feel my body smooth and shiny. But I don't know where to buy in Jaipur I wish to continue. please help me. Thanks.
Ill try the method of using before I shower next time, maybe it will stop this dreadful itching im experiencing after every shower , even using plain water is doing it.
Your soap might be stripping the oils from your skin too. I use the ones that are moisture rich because I had the same problem. I also use grapeseed and almond oils when I get out and that really helps.
Try using aloe vera. I have oily skin to and tried using coconut oil but it didn't work. So I use aloe vera and it works just fine. Nowadays, I just use coconut oil for my hair sometimes. I also use coconut oil to cook because of their health benefits. Am currently on a diet so I eat a lot of peanuts to ward of hunger in between meals. And sometimes I would substitute peanuts for coconut meat. I just fry em in coconut oil, salt them, and snack on them. They taste like popcorn! It's kind of nice and weird.
Mildrid J Using oil on your face make it less oily. Your skin will produce less oil if you're treating it with a nice base oil such as coconut oil or Vaseline.
WaysAndHow..if you are posting a vid.. on this content..why not use the pics of mature women.. Why defensive?????? SMH. Have nothing against 20 something..just your vid needs to be validated by credibility. Got it? Get it!!!!
Your thumbnail is just photoshopped version of the same picture. If I personally didn't know better, that picture alone is not making your video very believable. Show some REAL results. Everything is photoshopped these days and it's hard to believe in anything...
The photograph is used to lure people in and get them interested in the product that can't make that kind of an effect on you. Only photoshop can. It's misleading and with so many companies doing it these days not to mention magazines and websites, it's getting very very annoying. I consider it straight up lying. Why not trust the product and being honest? Why photoshop?
Anonymous Louhea, "The photograph is used to lure people in and get them interested in the product... " Quite right. "...that can't make that kind of an effect on you. Only photoshop can. Only photoshop can. " That's ridiculous. Photoshop is a very recent invention. (It's a patented and copyrighted product, and takes a capital P.) People have been drawing pictures on the walls of our caves for upwards of 30,000 years now. " it's getting very very annoying" You seem annoyed. Speak for yourself. I thought it was an OK picture, and pretty representative of the video it referrd to. " I consider it straight up lying. " No. I'm afraid that doesn't quite qualify as an opinion of yours. Other people are involved, and there is a real world out there beyond your eyeballs. Would you prefer "lie" or "delusion"? Either way, it's just a picture. Cheers, -dlj.
Right... Do excuse me for the missing capital P because English is not my first language. :D And you seem very defensive about this and started to nitpick my comment a bit too much. I guess I should expect the same treatment with this one. Oh well... And what do you even mean with "I'm afraid that doesn't quite qualify as an opinion of yours. Other people are involved, and there is a real world out there beyond your eyeballs"? When did I even suggest otherwise? :D Why doesn't my comment qualify as an opinion? Just... Wow. The video was fine, I have nothing against it only the thumbnail. They should have used a real before and after picture, not digitally enhanced one. Why is that a problem?
what we knew ages back and used always is a new age thing for the west. I always used coconut regular oil for face and hair and we used coconut meat in chutneys and cooking vegetables and non veg food.
Yeah, and that pic is obviously just a photoshopped version of the other, since the woman or her earings have not moved at all. Shame, shame (shaking finger at video maker).
People...they Do put coconut oil in shampoos, conditioners, hair treatments and skin lotions. You all sound like a bunch of teenagers or millennials without a clue. I use all the things I've mentioned and I'll also try this. Plus, I'm telling you what I've used so far, I use altogether and it makes you smell so good. I'm thinking coconut oil can only add to that. Plus soften your skin. Most oils do. Worth a try.
As soon as a baby is born in the Caribbean they are literally drenched in homemade coconut. (I can make it from scratch) I'm black Caribbean and my skin is so smooth that ppl think I wear makeup when I'm wearing a bikini. My boyfriend is British white and he can't believe how smooth the skin of the women on the island I was born on is. It works but I think you have to start using it early not when you're older for it to be effective.
+stacylashana So true, we Caribbean people love our coconut oil. Most of us love coconut everything! Drinking the water, the milk and eating the flesh.
+vstevens11 I wonder if that is why your skin always looks better then our pasty ones do. For interest sakes is it also common to have a diet rich in gelatine as well? I have been pondering the fact that diets rich in collegen and gelatine plus the coconut oil or fat as lotions over long time may be a good reason for the youthful appearances.
+kikisian not to be disrespectful but I keep hearing ppl saying "whites are pasty" what does that mean? For the record consistent use of organic oil will give smooth skin in less than a month. Only if u aren't consistent you won't get results. I've seen ppl with ashy skin use avocado oil n their skin returned to smoothness but make it a part of your daily regime.
Melissa - Saturated fats being bad for us is one of the biggest health myths of the modern era, it is in fact extremely healthy and doesn't actually make you fat or cause heart disease. Sugar and grains are what are bad for us. I've lost seven kilos (15 pounds) in six weeks by avoiding sugar and carbs while eating large amounts of butter and animal fats as well as some coconut oil. The obesity problem in the western world exists because of these misconceptions.
SirGooglinMort Smith man you are crazy, I advice you stop your crazy diet right now.. of course you can lose weight even if you only eat fat, but that doesnt mean it's healthy. just educate yourself a bit , what you wrote is stupid
vannina yt Actually educating myself on modern nutrition is what led me to trying this diet in the first place. I didn't say I only eat fat, I eat plenty of vegetables as well as some fruit, dairy and eggs. New science is often shunned and ridiculed by the mainstream. It takes time for people to catch on so I don't blame you for thinking my diet is stupid. I feel ten years younger and I have more energy than ever. I also have better cognitive ability. A lot of new research suggests that grains are bad for our brain and how I feel leads me agree. Going low carb and consuming as little sugar as possible is one of the best decisions I've ever made.
I know that almost all the Pacific Islanders use coconut oil for almost everything such as cooking ,put in our hair ,skin ,massaging our body when in pain Last but not least our food we eat that ,The coconut Is very useful in so many ways we eat the fruits ,even make our house from the whole tree .
We use extra virgin, cold pressed coconut oil as our body moisturizer and consume at least there're tablespoons per day in a tea with lemon and raw honey. My whole family has great skin as a result. And we experience many of the other health benefits as well.

Do u have pimples on your face? does virgin coconut oil can heal the acne scar?
Yes it helps me with redness!

Some people go forever trying to find out what they're allergic to
Going to buy some of this coconut oil. I have been hearing a lot of great things about it fighting wrinkles

I have a feeling this eye cream will last a long time because it truly does go a long way. It's very moisturizing and feels great. I highly recommend this cream w--nyarganoil-c
+Pamela Moore Does it help with sagging skin?
+Susan P I read that sagging skin is due to a REDUCTION of fat under that particular area of skin. Dang aging...!
+Pamela Moore I do love argan oil.
I have reduced my wrinkles since I have been using this
tryantiagingproducts.com I use it every night.
I'm using the oil and I am very pleased with it. It is very good for the hair too. Thanks so much.

I'm very impressed and the ingredients are ver cheap I'm going to use it

I use this as a moisture Ultra Organic Argan Oil Treatment and I think it helps my skin stay young looking. I would highly recommend this product and I thank my friend who told me about this product. Great skin cream to help prevent wrinkles. I found it by searching on Google as an Argan rain.
Should I use coconut oil after steaming my face
very true indeed.
3 is the most easiest thx really helpful video😄
This is a well done and informative video, but it is hard to take seriously when she says "suppler" which is not a word. I now feel like the spelling police, but it should be "more supple".
R u serious like REALLY is it that important my god
I was an editor/copywriter/journalist. My husband won't even watch the news with me, LOL! So, yes. To me it is. Ha!

I used to work in a Newspaper in Composing and Editorial.

Hooray for you! I agree, it drives me nuts too...especially on the News shows! (Catholic Schools?)
Wow, thnks 4 making this vid. I knew about some of the benefits of coconut oil but this is AMAZEBALLS!!!!! I'm definitely going 2 try all of these tips. Thnks again again:0)
and what happened? whats your feedback or did you give up so soon
No I didn't give up, I'm still using it. But I have 2 use it 4 a long period of time 2 see results like this!!!
Amazing!!! Thank you.
I love it I like it and. I use it. . Coconut oil. .
I need to get rid of my wrinkles.
Skin drinks it up, that would not happen lol, coconut oil is amazing for skin
Thank you for share....
thank you for saving ...
It would be nice if they showed before and after pics of women in their 60s-80s, rather than using models who haven't developed wrinkles yet.
you know what it might work it does not hurt to try
I think it is naturally, it makes my face looks good
I think it is a great way to clean up your face
APPARENTLY "suppler" is considered a word.

Hi
If I was to use this is there a possibility of a break out in spots in my face
yes
This is great!!!
I agree with you. I also grow up with coconut trees and coconut oil.
I love this stuff
Thanks.What about grey hair?
I doubt whether the women of the South Pacific ask their doctors if they can consume coconut oil. They live long healthy lives eating lots of the good saturated fat from coconut oil. They also don't get the negative effects of the sun even with lots of exposure. Coconut oil does protect people from the sun, at least to some degree.
I bought in Kurnool (A.P)after using 500 ml I feel my body smooth and shiny. But I don't know where to buy in Jaipur
I wish to continue. please help me.
I think I'd be more impressed if the photos included some of the more mature woman
I hate the smell of coconut oil . But i really want to use it for my hair . Any one knows if there is some think to mix to change the Oder.
I use coconut when I was a little girl it work well
love this channel, I have a health and beauty channel.
I already have oily skin so is it a good idea to add more oil to already oily skin?
Try using aloe vera. I have oily skin to and tried using coconut oil but it didn't work. So I use aloe vera and it works just fine. Nowadays, I just use coconut oil for my hair sometimes. I also use coconut oil to cook because of their health benefits. Am currently on a diet so I eat a lot of peanuts to ward of hunger in between meals. And sometimes I would substitute peanuts for coconut meat. I just fry em in coconut oil, salt them, and snack on them. They taste like popcorn! It's kind of nice and weird.
Mildrid J
Mildrid J Using oil on your face make it less oily. Your skin will produce less oil if you're treating it with a nice base oil such as coconut oil or Vaseline.
The best thing for sagging skin is facials and I do the best ones.
Why not use mature women in your vid instead of 20 something chicks! Really?
WaysAndHow..if you are posting a vid.. on this content..why not use the pics of mature women.. Why defensive?????? SMH. Have nothing against 20 something..just your vid needs to be validated by credibility. Got it? Get it!!!!
It is offensive that you would state antiaging and then turn around and use a twenty something model. It is bait and switch in marketing.
Your thumbnail is just photoshopped version of the same picture. If I personally didn't know better, that picture alone is not making your video very believable. Show some REAL results. Everything is photoshopped these days and it's hard to believe in anything...
Louhea,
I don't think she's suggesting you use the photograph...
-dlj.
Anonymous Louhea,
"The photograph is used to lure people in and get them interested in the product... "
Quite right.
"...that can't make that kind of an effect on you. Only photoshop can. Only photoshop can. "
That's ridiculous. Photoshop is a very recent invention. (It's a patented and copyrighted product, and takes a capital P.) People have been drawing pictures on the walls of our caves for upwards of 30,000 years now.
" it's getting very very annoying"
You seem annoyed. Speak for yourself. I thought it was an OK picture, and pretty representative of the video it referrd to.
" I consider it straight up lying. "
No. I'm afraid that doesn't quite qualify as an opinion of yours. Other people are involved, and there is a real world out there beyond your eyeballs.
Would you prefer "lie" or "delusion"? Either way, it's just a picture.
Cheers,
-dlj.
{yawn}

very gud video,I like it
in India, we have been using coconut oil for centuries, especially in Kerala, South India.
what we knew ages back and used always is a new age thing for the west. I always used coconut regular oil for face and hair and we used coconut meat in chutneys and cooking vegetables and non veg food.
you sorry folks. getting me to click on this video with the pic then not showing it. you are dis honest
k
I am using this anti aging product tryantiagingproducts.com I have less wrinkles since I have been using it.
Yeah, and that pic is obviously just a photoshopped version of the other, since the woman or her earings have not moved at all.
Shame, shame (shaking finger at video maker).
its a wonder what a little too much light will do to a photograph.
My skin looks younger since I have been using this anti aging product

will coconut oil plug my pores and produced breakups in my face?
Is there is any difference between Virgin coconut oil and oil coconut oil
Yes.
Love this!!!
very nice video 👍
+WaysAndHow
sure I'll 👍
Thx for the vid
That's that really work yeah right
is there any method to produce coconut oil without using heat .
Sou do Brasil. quero que me expliquem certinho, é usar no rosto oleo de coco?
Pedro Almeida Si usa na noite
Thanks
You're welcome.
i put up in bangalore.where do we get this oil
How can I get coconut oil
I love coconut oil
I use coconut oil to gargle my mouth every day for 1 hour
Also use it to moisturize my dried skin
Finally I found It really works!
can you use facexer to enhance result?
I have used this for 6 months and nothing has changed!!!!!!!!!!!
You should try this thephytoceramidesreview.org it works.
I've seen ppl with ashy skin use avocado oil n their skin returned to smoothness but make it a part of your daily regime.
quoting dr oz. all credibility lost. i don't even need to make it to the photoshop.
Is that a doctored picture? Ok I se coconut oil and it works well enough for me to ditch the lotions and potions and I like it and it’s dirt cheap...
NEW DISCOVERY! How to fight wrinkles: Photoshop 😂😂
The Saturated fats are the good fats that your body NEEDS !
Satiated fat is not good. Do your research
Going low carb and consuming as little sugar as possible is one of the best decisions I've ever made.
vannina yt Its true, we need our saturated fats for our health. Have you researched this topic lately?
can it b rubbed on black spot also
I know that almost all the Pacific Islanders use coconut oil for almost everything such as cooking ,put in our hair ,skin ,massaging our body when in pain Last but not least our food we eat that ,The coconut Is very useful in so many ways we eat the fruits ,even make our house from the whole tree .
