Rien, this is my favorite setting of Anima Christi. There is a transcendental element I feel every time I listen to it. The version for organ and your playing is terrific! Thank you for this.
Thanks Graham! Although it’s a piece that has to be sung, I think even the music only without the words reflects de meaning of the composer in a special way. :-)
Trying new paths in music is always a bit challenging, getting out of your comfort zone ;) But shall I be honest? If I wouldn't read the description I'd never knew that this is an unusual style for you!!! Perfectly adapted to your way and very nice Rien ^.^
Schön wie sich das Lied aufbaut. Den Text hab ich übersetzen lassen, da ich in Latein nie aufgepasst habe 😉. Sehr schönes Stück und toll gespielt, Rien
Very beautifuly played Rien ! Nice tempo and execution, the registration is cleverly chosen ! The four voices part is also very nice to sing. It's a well known hymn for me, and I've been glad to hear it from you ! Nice day Rien !
Thanks Rémi, of course the organ rendition does not have the dynamics the words being with them. But they melody alone without the words is also very strong and soothing to my ears. It’s the first plain hymn I’ve published. :-)
@@RienSchalkwijk there is so much to do in hymns like this, I will play Pergolesi's stabat mater with 2 female friends during Lent, I hope I can make a record of it !
Thanks Arthur! You can try the same sheet as I have used. You can play it on piano too and if you are a bit creative add some extra notes. It's available for free at Musescore!
Thank you! It’s the Italian Masconi from Alessandria from sample set maker Piotr Grabowski. Just google “Piotr Grabowski Mascioni” and you to the right page.

Thanks Alejandro. You are right about the transcendental element. I experience that too. It’s the reason I’ve recorded it. :-)

This choral piece has always been one of my favorites and I was very happy to see an organ solo edition! Thanks, Rien!!
Thanks Philip! It’s a beautiful transcendental melody!
Wunderbar Rien. 👏 👏 👏 👏
Danke Gerd!
A lovely performance of Frisina's 'Anima Christi' which you have registered beautifully on the Mascioni sample set, Rien: bravo!

Very well played sir
Perfect 👌 ❤
Thank you!
Amazing!!!! I wish my Church play Anima Christi in the Holy week!
Thank you!
Do they not even play Soul of my Saviour?
@@DAN-fy7rp not really, because my Church is in Vietnam so they don't play English holy song
Has hecho un buen trabajo... gracias por compartir arte.
Thank you! Gracias!
Excellent performance. This sounded so gorgeous.
Thanks! It’s my most viewed organ piece.

Thanks! It sounds fairly okay I guess. :-) Tomorrow my most beautiful piece I’ve ever played.
@@RienSchalkwijk looking forward ;)
Wonderbaarlijk mooie zachte melodie.
Dank Philippe. Het is inderdaad een prachtige transcendente melodie. Gezongen door een kort nog veel mooier! :-)

Thanks Markus! :-)
Thanks Matt!
Ooh Mon Dieu😴 je pleure de joie
Merci. Cette mélodie est très spéciale. J'ai l'expérience que cela relie le terrestre et le céleste.
It's a piece of beautiful prayer~ It's time for me to pray too! thank you ! Rien 🌹🌹🌹
Thanks for listening Clara. It’s a beautiful ethereal melody.

I'm looking for the piano sheet of this. Any tips ?
Thanks Arthur! You can try the same sheet as I have used. You can play it on piano too and if you are a bit creative add some extra notes. It's available for free at Musescore!
This is a very nice arrangement of Anima Christi. Will you share the music with me so I can show the guys? Thanks.
Thanks! I send you an email!
Very well played! I can hear fragments of "Yesterday" (Beatles). Is this a coincidence? 🙂
Thanks Carsten! And you are right, the same harmony sequences! :-)
Which organ did you use in Hauptwerk, do you have a download link?
Thank you! It’s the Italian Masconi from Alessandria from sample set maker Piotr Grabowski. Just google “Piotr Grabowski Mascioni” and you to the right page.

What is the make and model of this organ?
It’s my old organ. A Domus (Viscount)Jubilate 227 Deluxe. But I’m using it here just as a console because I’m playing via the Hauptwerk system.
