Many thanks Andrew. If you need any help or advice re option, please do let us know, our email address is info@bigbeartrailers.co.uk For us, we tend to go for Anssems GT HT / VT range or Brenderup. Anssems are awesome is you are looking to place bikes on top of the trailer or Brenderup provide a great volume of space with a lockable lid with their 1205XL with ABS lid model. Happy Camping!
We put a small level of grease into the tow hitch of the trailer using a small clean brush. You dont want a huge level of grease, but a little ensures smooth operation.
The rules are the same when towing (the size of trailer doesn’t matter) - on A roads where cars can normally travel at upto 60mph, when towing your maximum is 50mph. On Motorways where the car max is 70mph, when towing your max is 60mph (in addition you cannot use lane 3 / fast lane when towing on a Motorway). Hope that helps!
