@@theodorelow4487well did you ever try japanese trains? If you do then you would never know what happens + it's erl decision not yours so everytime you said "no" it won't be valid.
I suppose you meant the traction as this train is electric it does not have any engines. The traction motor sounds different because they are manufactured by CRRC, therefore it sounds different compared to Siemens Desiro.
I know these new train have an off-putting smell but the smell may occur on every new train and temporary only but the noise may stay forever. These are only additional trains which i think ERL only wanted to improves the frequency.
the old one still the best...modern...very gud lighting and ambiance...
This train is 6-7 years old now. They are sort of not new anymore.
Changchun is my hometown, and I am in KL for a long term business trip since February this year. By the way, I am also an Railway and train enthusiast

I preffered the old train. More luxury interior with Yellowish light. Those white light is so outdated and oldschool.

Seems only cruising at 140km/h so far , and I thought mostly running 160km/h operational speed...

I got on one. It’s super noisy and the blue scheme color is so dull and it has this smell which is off putting. Bad decision!

this chinese made train very loud speaker...design not modern at all very old fashions...and the ambiance very bad....German train still the best....

k chandra segaran That’s the noise from the traction motor. Once the train is running at high speed, the noise lower down.
The trains are entering standard 1 soon so the sound is getting much better.
