  • Join me in episode 2 of my trip through the Highlands, Scotland in winter.
    My first stop is in Glencoe, in this episode I trek up Beinn a Chrulaiste to take a shot of the amazing Buachaille Etive Mor and the views down the A82. In my opinion it’s one of the best views in Glencoe.
    The weather conditions weren’t as forecast but I’ll definitely be visiting this stunning location again.

    Hi Stephen, it really is a stunning location! I’m sure it felt great to have the area all to yourself! Loved your photos and the earthy colors, just a touch of snow and the rivers running through the valley! 🌟🌟👍👍 Have a great weekend!

    Morning Stephen, even without the sun coming through that view over glencoe is pretty amazing. Fantastic panoramic at the end. I keep meaning to ask but which software do you use to stitch your photos together and edit?

    • @stephensmithphotography
      @stephensmithphotography  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Morning Yasmin, thanks for watching and your continued support 😊👍
      I use Lightroom on a desktop or Lightroom mobile when I’m doing a quick edit on the phone or iPad. I use Premiere Pro for my videos 👍

    Really beautiful shot. Nice to see the effort behind it. Often it is completely hidden to the eye what a photographer went through for a really stunning picture.

      Thanks for watching mate. Ive not done many panos until this trip, as the landscape is so vast I thought I’d give it a go 😊

    What a beautiful scene! The views are stunning from where you were. Thank you for sharing your expertise - I learned something new today. I never would have thought about doing a pano in portrait format - now I've got to go out and try it!! Thanks for a great video Stephen. Looking forward to watching more.

    I can't believe there's nobody out there! Such a beautiful spot. Very nice panoramic.
    How early do you get to these locations to shoot in the morning? Do you aim for sunrise or come later but not too late when the light's too bright?

    • @stephensmithphotography
      @stephensmithphotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching Izzy. I was there for 8am, I was hoping the sun would come up and the light would catch some of the mountains. Im not a big fan of shooting into the sun, I prefer a bit of side light if possible. As you saw from the video, I had no light whatsoever 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 In a couple of videos time at a different location it all goes to plan 👍
