- Hello and thank you for watching my video today, this video shows how I make faux vintage style stamps for scrap or junk journaling. It is so much fun and these little stamps could be used for cards making too! I use serrated scissors to cut out my book page, place my image on this whether it is washi tape, backgrounds I made myself or a piece of patterned card. This is a great technique for using up your scraps! I then overstamp with a date stamp and the wavy lines to denote a postmark. If you are like me and you like your junk or scrap journals in the vintage style then distress with a little vintage photo. I hope you like this video as much as I have loved making it, if so could I please ask you to give it a thumbs up and should you wish to see lots more please remember to subscribe, thank you |@tanyamccorry2132

My grandmother called those scissors “pinking shears.”
Aha, could I remember the name!! Thank you so much for reminding me 😀❤️❤️❤️
Oh I love these, cant wait to try them out, thank you Tanya, what would we do without you 🥰
You are so welcome, thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Love to see something new to make card making or journaling more interesting. I have a whole box of different KINDS of "scissor edges" that I bought at a "Garage Sale" and wondered why later, "why did I buy these"? (lots of scissors and they were cheap). Now you have given me some new ideas for making little stamps and edges to pages. Thanks for the inspiration! Keep it coming! 😉
Thank you so much, made my day 😁❤️❤️❤️
What fab little stamps, I love to have a crafty session like this, making stuff for later use is great when I don't necessarily know what to make/need to make.
Hope your car situation resolves quickly!
Thanks so much and that's exactly what I do when I feel tired or am lacking inspiration, get stuck in to making ephemira, love it ❤️❤️❤️
Being on a ‘financial diet’ forces us to use our stash to craft! Not necessarily a bad thing! lol.
That's the truth, keeps me on my toes! Good to revisit old friends and favourites❤️❤️
Beautiful stamps, great video!!! It does get a bit crazy when your car is in the shop…hope your cars are out of the shop soon.
Oh me too! I miss it dreadfully but it is very sick, poor bucket of bolts 😀🤞 thank you so much for watching and especially for taking the time to comment ❤️ ❤️❤️
Just brilliant! I need to invest in a pair of inexpensive pinking shears. Thank you for the creative reminder and nudge. I live in Washington State and we have the rainiest climate in the US. But it's SO green here. Similar to Ireland I would think. We have finally said goodbye to the rain and dampness (until the end of October). I'm just rambling now....❤
Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to chat 😀 I am so chuffed you found it useful. As for the weather, if only we could get rid of the lovely rain for a few months we would be delighted but having said that we have every shade of green in this Emerald Isle and it's beautiful 😁❤️❤️❤️
Hope you got your car back on the road too 😊
Lol! Thank you, unfortunately not yet, poor wee car is still under the weather and waiting patiently for its operation 😀❤️❤️
