On Friday there isn’t an endshow but “the spotlight”. The technical producers of Q-Dance work together with an artist to create a spectacle of half an hour with music, lights and a kind of fx’s. This year it was Sub Zero Project, not unknown for you. Recommend you watch and react to that as well! Absolutely one of the best sets at this years Defqon. :)
It's the message during the first song that truly resonates and that gets people. And of course the positive vibes throughout. Mad props to the choreographers of the lights and pyrotechnics show too! I don't really listen to hardstyle, rawstyle or hardcore anymore these days, but I can still really appreciate these type of events, for sure.
That first track tho. I was standing there with my friends in the crowd. Videocalling another friend that sadly couldn't join us so she could at least partly get this moment with us. And I cried. I was finally back home after all this time. Can't even watch this back without getting very emotional again. Qdance outdid themselves here once more. The last few years have been hard, but we are finally back where we belong, on the dancefloor, amongst the people.

This whole video is just so emotional but I guess, when I said goodbye (probably forever) to a friend yesterday, I could have realized goodbyes are just not a thing I am good at, and an end show is always like a goodbye ;p
After 4 days of festival and fun, well at the end you will miss it again, you will keep this experience. the great thing about what started from the hardcore scene is that it brings people together. this is about being one with everyone and everything. If you want to see this too often, you are probably looking for drill rap, here they slaughter each other... and think they can command respect by doing so.

People are crying from an overload of emotions, not because they need to go back to work xD You assessment absolutely cracked me up, imagining all those people saying "oh no it's monday tommorrow, I gotta work 😢" 😆
This kind of events make me forget my everyday life. BUT just music works same way to me. I played american football and now coaching. And I need my own time just before the game. bout 10mins is enough. Listening some good addrenaline that good aggressiveness raising music, eyes closed. After that 10mins in my own world my teammates said that my eyes looked different, I was locked on, READY to hit hard as defensive player
a little sad that the actual closing was only 10 minutes. with the banger Ghost Stories set right before it definitely felt longer. The first song always gets me emotional especially combined with the video. Red stage was designed to portrait some type of phoenix. and the fireworks during Rise Again actually mimic swinging wings. it was so amazing.
It definitely shakes you to the core. Makes your eyes vibrate in the sockets. Anything 0-200 Hz and you got a mini-earthquake going on in your body :) (Not sponsored by them in any way, but it does do what they claim it does for sure)
