Why don't they do a Ariel ground sonar from satellite like there doing in Egypt to get full map of underground anomolys then go from there seems to me be better than guessing in long run
I don't think that exists but I could be wrong. Please point me to a website or video that shows it if you know of any as I'm curious about it. If it does exist I'm sure it would be extremely expensive to use. If such thing exists I dont see it being able to detect very deep into the surface and in oak island they are typically looking between 100 to 200 ft. deep. They have used GPR, Sonar, as well as Remote Sensing multiple times in different places on oak island which would be equivalent or possibly better when you combine all the data together.
He had more makeup plastered on his chops than Kim Kardashian and Rupaul ! Was he propped up by a hat stand or was there a puppeteer just out of shot? He only landed on the Island to find where his career had disappeared to back in the 17th Century.
The son of one of the guys died a few seasons back, so the 7th person has been claimed. The kid was a treasure hunter right along with the rest of them, he counts.
Wouldn't the young man that died towards the beginning of the dig, that they sign his name one of the pipe. Count as the seventh to die. Fulfilling the legend of seven must died before they discover the treasure?
I don't believe in curses. I would like to see the Lagina brothers and their partners find something so big and so amazing that it sets the whole world talking about it. I hope they find it and it makes them richer than they could ever imagine. And I hope they find it before everyone gets too old to know anything. I love the history and I would like to know at least what happened there. That is what is most important to me. Knowledge is the treasure as far as I'm concerned.
What doesn't make sense to me is that after years and years of searching with modern day machinery and to come up with zero makes you wonder how would it have even been possible to bury something that deep that long ago with basically a shovel?
@Brett_Kendrick They haven't "come up with zero". The searchers have a pretty good idea of what is deep beneath Oak Island in the now-submerged cavern(s). One expert publicly said last year that "there is a lot about Oak Island that is not being revealed on the Reality TV show." I believe what he said because I have been following this Oak Island saga since 1963, long before there ever was a History Channel. These shows are "Entertainment" and NOT Documentaries, so the goal here is for them to keep making big money and keep the show going for as long as possible. Information is spoon-fed to the viewers. That is sad. As for someone burying something "that deep that long ago with basically a shovel", consider how Fort Louisbourg was constructed just up the coast with its tunnels long before the Money Pit on Oak Island was ever discovered! For a lack of a better description, Oak Island is an anomaly or an optical illusion of sorts. Bathymetric maps of Mahone Bay prepared by the Geological Survey of Canada in the 1990's have revealed at least two cave or niche entrances along an ancient, now-submerged Oak Island shoreline that possibly lead beneath Oak Island. No one "dug" down way over one hundred feet to bury anything in the Money Pit. If anything, "whatever it is" was deposited via the cave entrance(s) that were apparently above sea level in ancient times. Over the millennia, sea levels surrounding Oak island slowly rose, the cave/niche entrances were eventually submerged along with the cavern(s) and that is why it is nearly impossible to get at "whatever it is" entombed in the cavern(s). The Money Pit was originally a deep sinkhole that somehow connected to the cavern(s) and was filled in with dirt along with the log platforms "after the fact" using civil engineering principles to protect whatever was buried at the bottom adjacent to the cavern(s). And the original depositors were there in ANCIENT times. It is a fact that there have been many incursions by different peoples at Oak Island over the past two thousand-plus years, obviously for a reason! The Canopy Oak trees that once lined the eastern shore of Oak Island were non-indigenous to North America, having their origins from the Mediterranean and North Africa. Oak Island was the only island of the 360 islands in Mahone Bay that had these Canopy Oak Trees, and they were most probably planted there deliberately so they would grow to great heights to serve as landmarks to help ancient mariners in finding Oak Island on the horizon as they sailed across the Atlantic Ocean from the east. This is so clearly obvious and is never mentioned on The Curse Of Oak island show. I'll bet even William Shatner doesn't even know this, and he should know it because he was "after all" a starship captain who loved the poem "Sea Fever" by John Masefield...... Further proof that Oak Island is ANCIENT is the 90-foot stone and its strange symbols uncovered in 1804. (CLUE: "The stone was found with the symbols "face down" in the Money Pit, clearly NOT to be seen by anyone digging down into the pit") When the first sketch of the alleged symbols was published back in the 1940's, scholars eventually confirmed that the symbols were of Tifinagh or Berber dating from before to shortly after the time of Jesus Christ. Hence, despite the more "recent" incursions at Oak Island (i.e. many hundreds of years ago) and despite what might lie concealed in the swamp or at Smith's Cove, whatever is entombed at the bottom of the Money Pit is ANCIENT and is probably still there, submerged under water in the cavern(s). And due to the previously mentioned "anomaly" of Oak Island and the inability for divers to safely access those submerged cave/niche entrances along the submerged ancient shoreline, it might be impossible to ever locate and retrieve whatever is there. This is "THE TRUTH REVEALED" in my opinion. Sorry so Lengthy!

@@golden51sumlin8 Thank you very much for your kind words! I have been intrigued by the Oak Island Mystery ever since my dad first introduced me to it back in 1963. Back then, everyone thought it was all about pirates and pirate treasure, but we know different today. I just hope the Canadian government will let them go public with any major discovery they eventually make if it indeed would change world history as we know it.

Wrong , treasure was found on Oak island,a former slave named Ball lived on Oakisland, he found Trunks full of Sterling silver back in the woods,he became one of the richest men in Nova Scotia,he died in 1840? After 200 years of digging in the same area is foolishness. The only treasure here is Mark Lagina's bank account! Ha ha!
The answer lies in 1680. Thats the year that lines up with everything Rick and Marty have found. Whatever happened in 1680 was the reason there is a Mystery there.
I’m of ricks philosophy.even if no treasure is found (gold, silver, the arc of the covenant), a lot took place there spanning hundreds of years. Therefore, oak island will be in the history books/records etc- forever!! Mystery treasure- there will always be an addictive need to solve a mystery equally,to finding the treasure...treasure or not,I’m intruiged what happened there because there’s plenty to suggest loads happened and I’d love to know. The legacy is the history, the story ....

@@pauljohnson1991 yes they found structures doing it under sand
Paul Johnson Why are they so certain something is underground to begin with?
William Schatner, come on, please give me a break! 😂
he is a big name that they could probably get at a good value.

I wondered that when the old man died but then agian maybe they have to be actively hunting when they died. Who knows lol. RIP Drake
The legend of the curse is mentioned in every episode. Where/when did it come from? Who first spoke of it??
Why the title of video is “truth is revealed” when the video tells nothing about the truth.
I was wondering the same thing!? 🤔🤔🤔
