Warning. There are two sets of stairs at the dragon burnt ruins. One takes you to the chest for the twin blade, the other is a trap and will send you across map

Thanks for confirming this. I knew about the trap chest and was wondering if there was only one and maybe the game was different for consoles and PC.
I see it as less of a trap and more of a shortcut haha you can just port back easiely
where was this the first 6hrs of the game when i was getting "you died" over and over till i found out you can fast travel for free
@@mofix11 You can't port back until you find a grace. That first grace can be quite hard to get to at lvl 9.
I have a small tip for people, most people go straight to fighting the Tree Sentinel once they get out into the world but you should not do that, when you first leave the Cave of Knowledge you should have a little over 500 runes so you should go to the church behind the Tree Sentinel first to buy the torch and crafting kit right off the bat and then go do as you please.
Why buy the torch?

@@dunkirito8308 until you find the merchant with the lantern so u dont have to occupy ur left hand with a torch :D (near the liurnia lake shore grace point)

That’s actually what I did automatically. Ya know what? I didn’t even use the torch yet, and I don’t remember what I crafted in the beginning. Not saying those things aren’t important. Lol!
I recommend popping the gold pickled fowl foot before baiting the bridge boss through the poison traps. Gives you a nice boost to around 54000 runes

there's an easy/troll way to best the Night's Cavalry:
Before entering the bridge, on your left, there should be a cliff near the mushroom trees. Lure him to cliff and then jump off to the mushrooms on the bridge. The knight should be stuck by the cliff and will continuously chase you (if it doesn't work, keep baiting him until he turns). Make sure to move a little further back where he is (to have him remotely moving forward) and a grab a popcorn while he plunges to his end.
I wasn't quite sure what you meant, so I just jumped on top of one the the tree things on the bridge while looking around. the night's cavalry got aggroed accidentaly, and it just jumped off the bridge and died! I'm guessing this is where you meant, but I did it completely unintentionally, and it was the funniest shit ever

Hay you know you can just drop down on the wind column. They don't just let you jump up to high places they also let you drop down from high places.
Just heads up, it is not the poison that kills him. He gets lost in the poison gas plooms and falls off the ledge.

pro tip: the wind gust shooting up out of the ground, you can jump UP or DOWN onto them with torent/horse for a safe landing. so if you see them and your far up, just jump on the gust of wind. to get down safely

Just a heads up there is more than one black rider there is one on the bridge just south of the gate front grace and he drops the repeating thrusts ash of war and i believe i saw another one in the northern region somewhere

Do I need a certain amount of attribute points to use the assassins crimson dagger? I’ve equipped it and the ability won’t work
2:17 there's a whirlwind near there, you can just jump off and take no damage that way.

I could play it the slow and methodical way or the rush past everything way, but when you know exactly where to go to get what you need this game is more fun.

Idk how everyone makes this stuff look so easy. I did the horse one at night, and 2 times got insta death, so you definitely have to be spot on guiding him. It doesn't help. I've never played these games ever. This is my first time, honestly. it's fun but super frustrating

Hey tag u can jump down with the horse onto the updraft area things....they work both ways far as not taken damage when jump down on top of theme
If you jump down to the cloudy jump thing with the horse you take no fall damage. It works both ways.
Do u need to equip the crimson dagger to something!?
Maybe I'm dummy, I just found out them glowing white skulls, if you step on it with or without a horse, it will give you an item.
How did you get that blade you are using
You can sheathe and unsheathe your weapon by holding Y then press LT same with PlayStation Hold Triangle then push L2
my best tip i just found is by switching for fullscreen on pc to just windowed borderless and it went from stuttery mess to buttery smooth ...hope helps for everyone else on PC too....10900k rtx 3080 64gb ram . max settings at 1440p

What am I doing wrong with the Night's Cavalry at the bridge? He keeps de-aggroing and respawning back at the bridge.
I just did it on pc. You need to make sure he is right on your tail. Or else he will de-aggro pretty fast. Might take you some tries, Just keep it up:D
Don't sprint on your horse. Just run normally and he'll keep aggro.
I think he was pretty fun to fight straight up but there's a couple of them in the game.
There's a much more easy way to get there. There's a portal just outside of the Church of Marika. You then just run down to get to that bonfire

You have immunity to fall damage near the wind gusts
I have how he will be somewhere then teleport and expect you to know where tf that is like we have the map unlocked all the way

Update: if you do this and hit the dragon that you can demolish with bleed damage. on a lvl 9 character you can hit about 120,000 runes almost immediately and it’ll get you up somewhere around mid 40’s for your lvl. Fat little farm combined with his new video about increasing the amount you get? Pretty much make a whole new build almost on the spot it’s so quick😂

Has anyone had any success with the Night's calvary poison trick? Not working for me at all. I get poisoned very quickly and the poison barely does anything to him. Did this get patched?

I dont understand why The boss in 3.30 died? I already try what he did but it doesnt work
The boss died because he popped all those poison plants so when the boss followed his path he died from poison damage. The key is to zig zag to pop as many as you can and to not go too fast or the boss may not follow you.
i believe they patched the knights Calvary exploit
update it is not yet patched just inconsistent, a good tip is to try and hit as many traps as possible. very worth it.

Im rune farming by using the Cutest DINO DOGS U HAVE EVER SEEN !!! THEY ARE THE cutest thing ive ever seen lol...i lure then into a horde of knights n watch the dino dogs go crazy n get ALOT of runes in minutes ...its by a fort front gate in the red sky area ...you will see a white dino dog
You're not going to fight this mounted boss you're going to get him killed. This game is the definition of work smarter not harder.

I just did it and I can confirm it still works on the latest patch, it just takes a few tries to get it right, my first time he made it all the way up and despawned, other 2 times I was killed. When I managed to do it, I ran in a zig zag hitting as many of those things as possible and sped up only If I saw his shadow behind me.
i just completed this on Xbox series x but got zero runes 😟

@@TheWolfDude91 The first time I did it he barely lost any hp as well, took a few tries. The time I got it to work was by zig zagging my way up the hill popping as many of those things as possible and going slow, only running if I saw his shadow catching up. Took like 4 tries.
