- Tour across the roman city of Ephesus at the 2nd century. A brief description of the city and its main buildings, which serves as a guided tour and first contact with this archaeological destination, using the VirTimePlace app.
I was there in summer 2022 and couldn’t of imagined that the ruins I was looking at was actually such a great city. I recognize the library, the theatre and so much more. This animation makes so much sense. I can’t thank the creators of this animation enough for enlightening me as to what I actually saw in person. Thank you.
That's exactly what we made VirTimePlace for. Thank you back for your comment Harley. I'm sure it will be very useful for new visitors.
Same here, I just came back from Ephesus last week, the Ephesus was amazing. I recognize the library which I took many pictures with, and also the steep, slippery theaters. Ephesus was big city back then. Wish I was born in those days so I could experience how it was like.
I love the verticality of walking down the main roadway from the harbor and seeing the amphitheater seating above
So do I. Thanks Jared
Wow 🤩. This was so well done!
Thanks Michael
No doubt about it,all the major cities of the RE must have looked stunning in their pomp.
Indeed. They reflected the pomp of the largest empire ever known.
@@VirTimePlaceWell the British Empire was the largest Empire ever known, then the Spanish, then the Mongolian...
Hahahaha, good for you @@CaptainGrimes1
You cannot possibly know how much this helped me.. I love you
Glad to help 🤗
Just visited today and seeing this helps to understand it all!
Thanks Max for sharing your experience. That will help us to develop more places.
Ephesus is an amazing place I was lucky to see just a few days ago. Türkiye is a fantastic country to visit.
Ich darf erinnern dass es nicht türkisch ist.

Such were the greek cities.
wow
What voice did you use or is it an actual recording? Nice video!
In this case ,it is a synthetic voice, but I couldn't tell you the exact one right now. Thanks for your interest!
@@VirTimePlace Could you tell me later? xd
@@DCresident123 Hahaha, it's not a matter of time. I don't have access to every detail after the project is backed up. I'm pretty sure it is speechelo, the english woman voice of the basic tier, but I can't give you more information now or later. I'm sorry
@@VirTimePlace No problem, ty for the reply
do you have a video on Pergamum
Not by now, but It would be great to find someone interested in publishing Pergamum as a VirTimePlace destination.

Not MILET, BUT MILETOS.
Roman Empire was à beautiful civilisation. ❤
Indeed 🤓
Griechische Kultur.
Greek civilization
one negative aspect of this otherwise excellent recreation: the story is told very too fast. Can you make the newer videos slower?
Hi Giuseppe, you're right. It's difficult to get the user focus for a long time, but we'll try a bit longer videos (maybe around 10 minutes). Thank you very much for your comment.
What kind of meeting of east and west are you talking about are you crazy? Ephesus was a 100 % greek city with 100 % greek architect and culture for god's sake!
It's just a matter of basic geography, but yes, it was founded only by Greeks. Thanks for your contribution Unib
