    So excited to visit in April and check out the new trolley main office, wow what a upgrade. Thanks for the advice on all day pass working for Dollywood. May want to mention pulling the stop cord to be let off at stop ahead, I didn't realize they won just stop at each place😅

    I think you should update the video to show what some of the stops around town look like because I heard there are two different stops signs and now they have the app which is good to use to find local stops to see if there is a stop near where you are staying. I used that to pick where we are staying. I am still figuring out how to use the app though. :)

    Are the lines long? Is the trolley stop at Dollywood more convenient than driving?

    We are staying at a place in Sevierville. What it be best for my wife and elderly parents that are not going to Dollywood to drop us off at the closest trolley station and what would that be? Can we get to Dollywood and back? just trying to figure out what would be the easiest route to attempt for all of us those days! Thanks for any information or tips you may have regarding this topic!

    • @AdventureIsOutThere
      @AdventureIsOutThere  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I would say going to the main station that has the direct route to Dollywood is your best bet if you don't plan to pay for parking at Dollywood.

    • @AdventureIsOutThere
      @AdventureIsOutThere  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I downloaded their app and went to buy one but it is not clear if it can be used on future days or only the days purchased. Try calling 865-453-9061 and see what you can find out, I would love to hear what you find out!

      They are trying to release an app so you can buy it anywhere. If you search the App Store & it still does not come up, you would have to get it at the station.

    Do you have to start your trip at that main center? Our hotel has a trolly stop right in front of it amd wasn't sure if we could just hop on there and leave our car at the hotel?

    • @AdventureIsOutThere
      @AdventureIsOutThere  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can hop on anywhere. At the time of recording, you could only get the all day pass at the main station. They are installing machines on each trolley so you could buy that pass anywhere.

    So we’re going in august, but staying in Gatlinburg, at westgate resort rd, so can we take the trolly from there and go to Dollywood? I’m so confused

    • @AdventureIsOutThere
      @AdventureIsOutThere  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The trolley goes to the gatlinburg welcome center across from westgate. You could get on the trolley, ride to the transportation center, and then transfer to a route to Dollywood. $3 all day pass is your best bet.

    Huh!
    PF actually has fairly-"comprehensive" public transit??
    Whereas... sadly, Branson's is just a trolley in the downtown part (with the rest of it being very car-dependent, I'm afraid). Guess it makes sense, though- whoever set-up Branson also had the "lack of foresight" to make the main road (76) a 1-lane-each-side street. Which makes absolutely no sense, for a place so densely-packed with attractions all over o.O
    It's just a recipe for disaster, traffic-wise, unless you happen to be there (Branson) on a "slow day", I guess?
    To its credit, PF seems a fair bit *more "spread out"*, I think? At least, upon first glance
    Again... why Branson decided to have ONLY ONE lane (with a middle for turning) on each side of the main road is beyond me. How stupid

  • @werewolflover8636
    @werewolflover8636 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Gatlinburg’s Trolley’s are free! So you can ride over to the welcome center and take the Gatlinburg trolley and it will cost you nothing. Hopefully Pigeon Forge will one day do the same.
