i adore the stylistic dissonance the characters have with each other, makes it feel like they're tresspassing in each other's worlds
for examplem, the difference in framerate is subtle but helps to further distinguish the two characters

I’ve been avoiding watching this because the Very Hungry Caterpillar’s inclusion seemed very awkward to me. But his first verse alone makes this one of my all-time favorite rap battles.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a book I grew up reading so seeing this rap battle where the caterpillar absolutely rocked the mic put a smile to my face. Also, nice touch on turning the caterpillar to a butterfly at the end.

This battle has a little bit of everything: great animation, catchy as hell, and especially a VERY unique character that I never expected would be in a rap battle. The British narrator intro/outro was just the icing on the cake 😃😃 good job to all involved
A ton of people actually requested Galactus VS The Caterpillar, which was shown to cause this to happen instead. So I definitely agree this battle is great, but the Caterpilar wasn’t as unexpected as everyone says he was.

This is epic singing! I noticed that there is the inclusion of many fun facts about Kirby that are not common knowledge, so I know that the lyrics were carefully decided. I also wasn't expecting so much of a spotlight on a character like the very hungry caterpillar, so that's much appreciated too.
