    im exactly the same bro, over 15 years of skating only Low trucks from silver S class back in the days the the thunder lows, sadly all the new ventures /thunders no longer are lows as the old days and anything claimed low is 51 and higher, then i remembered that maybe tensor kept it og with being low trucks and they really are amazing

    Good trucks for heavier and steep decks like Santa Cruz for example, but really horrible bushings and washers that needs to be replaced as soon as you get them. Changing at least the top bushing and washer with Bones helps a lot. You forgot to mention or probably even noticed that it grinds well even unwaxed ledges. They are so light that even when slide rails are added to the deck the skateboard weights as much as regular board, but sliding and grinding properties of it can make it ultimate street setup.

    Mine lasted only a few months. Same low model. One broke right below the bushings. I do ride tight. They are hella light tho

    Tensor mag light lows are hands down the best truck with the QwikTruks QliK System. (Quick release truck hardware)

      @@PHeMoX I've seen it before...a quick release for wheels.
      The thing about that though, is if i use larger diameter wheels, i want higher trucks to go with them so I don't get wheel bite. I even add riser pads to some of my truck plates with QwikTruks.

    Can I ride 58mm wheels on these LOs? Would I have to change wheels or buy a regular tensor light??

      No it would be too low .. and get wheel bites ... There is tensor mag highs ... Plus probably eighth inch riser for 58mm

    If you're used to a heavier truck they will throw your flips off for a while. You can help it by over-sizing the trucks.

  • @collect_the_dead1934
    @collect_the_dead1934 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Can you suggest a wheel size that would circumvent really bad wheel bite. I got these and had to get risers and the risers don't fit on perfectly which bums me out.
    I'm probably just going to get Venture Lows. The truck height is a bit higher but they only make them for 8" and 7.75" boards.

    • @FirelordRob76
      @FirelordRob76 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i use some spitfires worn down to 46 mm and don't get wheel bite. these trucks aren't designed to be super turny and will benefit from being maybe a half a turn tighter than you normally run your bushings.

    Love these trucks but the tensor white bushings are way to soft. I’ve got them cranked down and they barely felt like they even changed. Would love to know Tensors durometer rating on their bushing so I knew what to change them out to.
    But they are definitely LIGHT AF.

      my guesstimate is around 82a. i have tensor mag lights low and replaced it with bones bushing soft 82a and i fee that they have the same softness. i also tried puttimg bones bushing 92a medium and it does not turn at all. i has to tic tax all thr way

    They're hella light. Lighter and taller than my Thunders 147 hollows (best IMO) ... Turns better than the old tensors but probably gonna put in some Bones hard bushings...
    Bought my Tensor Mag Lights from that guy in the video.

    Also ich habe schon alle möglichen Achsen ausprobiert.
    Und die TENSOR mögen gut sein wenn man technisch fährt, flip tricks..
    Aber wenn man viel grinded, dann sind sie nicht die richtige wahl.

    Hi, I'm 42 and still very much a beginner and came across this review. Being older I was wondering if you think it would be worth it to invest in a pair of these. Since I'm a beginner I'm not sure if I'd really notice a difference, but anything that can help me to go a little longer or help flip/rotate the deck more easily wouldn't hurt! I'm currently on Aces af1.
