You do 5 quilts a day?!?!? You are a machine!! How many hours do you work a day!?!? I do 1 a day or 1 every other day. You rock!! Came across your videos, watching while I work!! Longarmer watching a longarmer!! And I tell my son it’s silly to watch videos of gamers! :)

Lorena, many thanks for this video of tips and your honesty & openness. I was struggling a few years back & can certainly relate. I'm glad you've come through and can now enjoy the fruits of your labour while doing something you clearly enjoy so much. xx

I Just subscribed! I love your authenticity! You're so real in your story telling. My husband and I lost our home, car, and jobs between 2008 and 2009. So i can really relate. I love crochet but never thought about doing it to make money at that time. Now I have a graphic design business, and I do custom apparel all from the comfort of my own home. My husband and I missed so much with our kids! So being here for them is one of the top reasons why we are home based. I love your channel! We are going to strart offerings embroidery soon and im going to learn how to do quilts. My grandmother does them she was sad and told me she thinks the sewing in our family will die when she does because no one does it.... well I am about to and I can learn from her! ❤

Many thanks for your advice & insight, I love listening to you and did so for this video while pinning a quilt to my long arm...I haven’t yet sewn my tops & backings to the zip leaders yet, but I might like you showed in a previous video....that rip part still makes me nervous! 😂 My favorite quote of yours near the end of this video: doing what you love can be a treasure to your life & to your soul...and to you. Love that! Thanks again, you rock! 🙂

Lorena, you are a beautiful person inside and out. If I were younger or circumstances different, I would try what you are doing and invest in a longarm. Maybe one day I'll get to send you one of my quilt tops to quilt. Where are you from? I'm in Louisiana. I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's day and weekend. 💗😊💗

I had to close my store front because of the overhead. I tried for 4 years to make my business grow at that one shop. I live in Southern Illinois a poor part of state. I moved my business to my house and I'm doing ok. I'm 67 so I don't have to depend on what my quilting brings in, but it helps with extra stuff. I have been sewing since I was 5. It is my favorite past time. I was a business supervisor at a hospital in the Chgo area. I traded it for a sewing job in a factory in Indiana, I loved it. I use to tell all the other girls I loved my job. They would just tell me to shut up or give me the look. Lol
