She is using the never mind as a polite way of dismissing stuff that's why she said those...But in english i also think never mind is kind of a rude way of dismissing things nd google is right

@@TatsuyaKGJSenseiYes that's what I meant. "Nevermind" in English is often used in a rude and dismissive way. "Ugh, nevermind." So an English speaker could still use that version, as again we often use the term nevermind to *be* rude.
“まぁ良いや (maa ii ya)” is an informal way, but that’s good too!!! (I’m Japanese so ik what I’m saying)

I have always wanted to learn Japanese. Such a beautiful language.
How much have you learned? And do you have any tips
And if you use a keyboard in Japanese you know how there are 10 letters that have 4 or 2 letters when scrolled on? How do you get the other letters like the 逆? I just find them by typing two letters and it gets merged. Is that how I'm supposed to do it or am I just doing it wrong?
@@primeyoriichiIf I understand your question correctly, you’re asking if the correct way of writing kanji is by using the suggestions when writing the word in kana on flick-type? If so, then yes. As you’ve clearly noticed, you simply write it out in kana and then choose the kanji from the suggestion bar.

When google said that nevermind is "dode mo" I immediately thought "wasn't there at the end anything more like dode moii?" cause that's what I heard in anime multiple times... Guess anime is a better resource than google translate

Of course anime is done by japanese people after all who live in that culture and that country google translate is a series of algorithms from documents and compilation of data.

@Vongola Atzi i learnt hindi faster without subs than with subs.
When I used english subs, I forgot or didn't pay attention to what the speaker said in shows due to the difference in grammar composition between the two languages.
Since hindi is SOV-oriented and English is SVO-oriented, so when I used hindi subs with hindi dub I could understand the langauge better though the sub felt optional, it assisted in clearing the words being spoken.
I think the same would be in Japanese since subs aren't as accurate. Not sure about other languages though.

The difficult thing with translators is that things like "nevermind" have several different meanings, one is when you are saying something, then decide it's not important, you say "nevermind", but another is when you're telling someone to ignore something such as "nevermind the pile of garbage"

ドンマイ (どんまい/donmai) is also a way to say it. Basically a shortened version of “don’t mind” with an accent. Also what Anya says lmao- “ドンマイ父 (donmai chichi)”
no, we use that for like when someone experienced something bad (like a soccer player lost a game) and we’d say “donmai” like “dont let it get to you” sort of (i dont think theres a direct way to translate it, so its difficult)
