By the way, not all bubblegum dance music appeared in DDR or rhythm games. They are just made popular by such game types. Several artists didn’t have any of their content in games or other media forms even. Additionally some artists are still alive and making bubblegum dance music up to this day, although their music is not entirely marketed under this genre, and some songs also never appeared during the hype in the 90s to 00s.
