It's quite annoying. I haven't played yugioh since some time between when the dragon ruler format ended and links were introduced, so catching up on all the new archetypes hasn't been easy. It'd help new and returning players more if there was at least a base to start with when we look for archetype builds. You have any idea how difficult it is to find pure shaddoll anywhere?
This game surely need a deck code like LoR who can copy the deck from the code so you dont need set a card one by one, its annoying sometimes switching app just for see the card name, im a mobile player tho if you late a couple sec the game will restart and the deck are not saved. I even write it in my note to avoid the reset of the games 😂

Thank you for this deck! I went from struggling to get past gold 5 all the way into platinum. It feels so good to shutdown all those lame ass meta decks. The amount of people who rage quit are insane. Just shows how dependent people are on special summoning. Bunch of one trick ponies man.
This deck is pretty decent, but it really has to get lucky against certain matchups like Eldlich and it needs to go first. Im not sure it would do to well against Drytron or virtual world especially if it goes 2nd.
@@Rotra13 that's why eldlitch plays solemn strike when they try to negate skill drain activation you can't chane any effect to a counter trap unless it's another counter trap so skild drain activates

Moon mirror shield will make your monster's attack 100 points higher than whatever is higher between the attack and the defense. In this case, eldlitch had 300 more defense than attack, so moon mirror caused him to deal 400 damage to the eldlitch player.
@@UranoSteam nope, it's whichever is higher. I actually forgot it does the same for the equipped monster's defense as well, but I also never use it for that.
Modern Yu-Gi-Oh is just plain sad. :( People only play if they know they'll win but as soon they smell a coming loose the give up immediately. People also giving up first turn if they drew bad or the opponent got the better board. Modern decks and also meta, mostly have only one win condition, if it's gone they're dead, no fighting back into the game or alternate win conditions. It's all about OTK/FTK. and if you can't OTK you're surrender. Back in the days dueling was way more fun, because every turn could make a difference. Most duels were like ping-pong and way more thrilling than nowadays.

I'll try building this deck because I'm tired of waiting 5 minutes for my opponent to decide what they will do. I've been trying to run sky striker because it can be fun sometimes, but I always get horrible opening hands, and I always get blocked.
I play a deck that merges monster zone lockdowns, time lord and nurse burn, and the anti spell fragrance dark simmorgh combo. Its weak to banish, kaiju tributes, and "send monster on field to hand" but when it works, its evil. I even won multiple times because of dice jar 6 rolls and nurse burns of gift card or rain of mercy. One duel lasted 42 turns before my opponent folded cuz he couldn't do anything against two ground collapse and dark simmorgh. Also apparently several players do not read the text on time lords and ir are unfamiliar with them and stupidly declare attacks on the time lords. One dude did so and lost because of it, took damage equal to his attacking monsters attack. He should have read the card text x3
As a Pacifis player these videos are like finding a long lost brother we might not be the same but are similar enough that some ideas can be shared, I think I will try some of the cards seen here and I would recommend trying to find a space for The Huge Revolution is Over, great and cheap backrow protection that also happens to cleanly deal with one of the cancers of the new meta, that damn Phoenix Enforcer.

Really takes the fun out of the game because it literally is just solitaire with better card art lol. Plus you most certainly can put out the damage with this stun deck. You run things like utopia lightning and such but chances are, if you have the board locked you will most likely not be using it. The deck is much more fun irl for me because I so much enjoy watching someone trying to do something and saying "Nah, you can not do that" then point to why they can not lol.

The only difference is what you do when you are the one going first. I feel like this could be a good deck because the general gameplay is you establishing your board/backrow and then you sit/negate your opponent. If not that, probably play some meta decks like eldlich, tri-brigade, etc.

@@12345678994800 yes, in higher level being first turn is actually an Auto win most of the time. Phantom Knight Turboing Rhongo, Drytron turboing ultimateness, Eldich IO, skill drain, gozen match, vanity turn 1. the only meta deck that always want to go second is Numeron.
You don't need gravekeepers to make necrovalley work. The effect prevents the opponent from activating effects that move something out of the graveyard. So no special summoning or banishing graveyard cards, which shuts down alot of plays depending on the deck
I had a deck like this In Duelingbook, but this one feels much nicer. I've titled the deck "Everyone Will Hate You" and it makes me smile knowing I ruined someone's plans instantly with a single normal summon.
Anti Meta is good against more controlling decks like Eldlich and Invoked/Shaddoll but honestly gets fucked by combo decks like Adamancipators and Drytron And just remember in all the years of Yugioh, Anti-Meta has never topped an event, and the idea is as old as the game itself.
dunno if you're even playing this game, but drytron drops like a fly vs this, unless drytron goes first, opens godly and has over 3 negates. if any of these is false, drytron loses, as every single card in that stun deck counters drytron (they rely on GY, they have no cards that can be normal summoned that are powerful enough to even break through 1000/1000 monster, they rely on special summoning, as well as their effects). and anti-meta has never topped, because there is a SIDE DECK in tournaments. there are only bo1 in master duels for now, so decks that are like that are seriously strong and can't be punished without dropping consistency against more prevalent decks
Extra deck can be anything for this deck. Only reason why I have an extra deck is because of pot of extravagance. If you don't use that card, you can play without an extra! :D
Problem with barrier stun deck is that....you can't do anything against established boards. Basically, you are screwed going 2nd especially against decks which setup negates. Otherwise, vs a slower deck like eldlich, you gotta pray they don't have skill drain. Would also recommend armory call. Great way to search out your moon mirror shield. Could also play a couple of mage power due to the amount of backrow u play.
@@nemujivg9055 I just realized you play both extravagance and demise. Don't do that as they conflict with one another. Pick one over the other and in this case, I would highly recommend extravagance simply because if you draw a hand full of monsters or if u decide to add hand traps to the deck, it won't conflict as much. Upstart also isn't that ideal as you want to kill your opponent ASAP in this type of deck as them drawing an out means gg for you.
First duel, how in the hell did your man gain 400 ATK to damage your opponent? That shield's apparently rose your monster's ATK to 100 above the strongest.
I honestly play stun decks when I play up against a meta deck. I don’t understand how they think it’s ok to not let their opponent do anything with 8 negate boards, but when they play against a stun deck it’s unfair.
Could be! Could be bricky and hard to get out on the field though. Barrier statue does almost the same so slap a mirror shield on it and you're somewhat covered.
It can only be fast if people do less meta and avoid flexing unnecessarily. It is still slow to me whenever I encounter these meta players who love to waste time just to flex their chain summoning when they can end the game with one direct field attack.

The deck isn't all that expensive! It carries a lot of staples that you already need. It's really the monsters that you will have to go out of your way to craft. It's definitely doable though.
Isn't Eldrich a meta deck? Also, the guy who chained Max C with pot of duality probably also has a meta deck. People with no brain tend to run meta deck to compensate for their lack of intelligence.

Nah your monster only gets so strong plus moon mirror fixes the difference between ATK points when guardian just gives you the 500 buff

The deck isn't all that expensive! It carries a lot of staples that you already need. It's really the monsters that you will have to go out of your way to craft. It's definitely doable though.

The deck is auto-lose vs eldlich unless your opponent is bad like in that first game.
