What a brilliant and beautiful blanket!! Love the scalloped edges that don’t need a border. This is a real winner, Alison! Thanks very much; can’t wait to make this. ❤
Been looking for a simple blanket stitch that makes it’s own border. This one is definitely a winner and my next project! Thank you for all that you share.
Love it! I do a version with one US double, ch1, US single, skip 2. But that one doesn't do its own border. I like your version that makes its own. Thanks for sharing!
This is a great video and stitch for a blanket that does not need a border. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for explaining it so well.😊
Awww Allison this is beautiful my 14th grandchild is due tomorrow so I'm gonna make this beauty for our new edition❤❤❤😊Your a good teacher and projects are incredibly beautiful and easy under your explanation...stay blessed my dear and may your hands be blessed too and blessings to your family💝🙏🙏
Amazing!!!!! Brilliant my friend. How do you wash this? I had bad luck with hobbii mega ball. I washed it in the machine and air dried and it stretched to high heaven. I lost all my beautiful puffs.

Thank you Alison. I love your choice of colour and yarn. Such a lovely useful pattern for crocheting different items. This pattern will be well used for many gifted items next year 👌🏻🙏🏻 keep up your brilliant work. It’s very much appreciated 🙏🏻
Amazing and lovely pattern, Alison! That magic border surprised me and besides, it can't be easier so My next baby blanket MUST be this one! Thanks for your lovely lesson, dear! 🌹🧶👏🌹🧶🙋♀️🇦🇷🇦🇷
Another great design! I'm starting it now for my great niece who's having a little girl in July! Thanks for all your amazing patterns! ❤ from Newfoundland!
That's gorgeous Allison love that there's no need for borders.i was going to start a blanket to do over the Christmas for charity .this is ideal.thanks Allison for all your help over past year.love and peace to you and yours.💖💖💖
Another great pattern:) However, I would ask that you use a larger size yarn (4 or 5) for demonstration. It was difficult to see your stitchwork on the thinner yarn. Will try this for a scarf first and then a baby blanket. Thank you😊.
I recently made a white blanket for a grandson due very soon in May. The border was extremely difficult and time consuming as it came out wonky and needed to be ripped out and redone. A granddaughter (grandchild 29) is due in June and this will be her little Baptism blanket…yay no border! I made your baby outfit back in 2020! You are a very good crochet teacher amd I thank you for this pattern!
@@AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel I wish I could sent you n foto I took this stitch and use it to make myself a table runner and I use the same stitch to put a border on it look amazing. You are the best and so kind thank for all the hard work❤💚💜
This's such a pretty yet simple pattern 😍. I made a long scarf/shawl type wrap for a niece years ago, with a very similar pattern but reversed😂-I started with a SC(US term)& then did the chain 2, 2 DC. She loved how it turned out 😊. N I forgot to mention that there are patch pockets on each end
Hello Allison, I just love ur videos, you have patience & explain nicely The patterns seem like they are difficult cuz they are always beautiful, but after watching them I always say "oh I can do it". 🤭 I have made a few too. So busy right now cuz of holiday business but this is an upcoming project for sure. Thank you, Merry Christmas 🍬🌟🎄🎅❤️🎄🌟🎄❤️🤶🎄🌟🍬
Love this pattern as I am looking for baby blanket patterns but in your video hook doesn't look like a 5 hook, but as you said depends on what the label on the yarn says.
i used a color change yarn, if you want to change solid colors or any color do it on the last stitch of the row add your new color THEN do your chain 3 with the new color.
What a brilliant and beautiful blanket!! Love the scalloped edges that don’t need a border. This is a real winner, Alison! Thanks very much; can’t wait to make this. ❤

How can a pattern this pretty be so simple?

Love this pattern as I am looking for baby blanket patterns but in your video hook doesn't look like a 5 hook, but as you said depends on what the label on the yarn says.
Awesome 👌 love dis Design
Love !
Want to make in two colors, how would I change colors?
Thanks!
❤ thanks
I had to start a couple of times, ended up going down a hook size, it feels lovely and looking great, about 20 rows on and flying now 🙌🏼
Love love love it. To change colors do you do it before the chain 3 at end of row?
i used a color change yarn, if you want to change solid colors or any color do it on the last stitch of the row add your new color THEN do your chain 3 with the new color.
Could you do a kaleidoscope granny blanket? There are a few tutorials but you are a better teacher. Pretty, Pretty Please with a cherry on top!
How big did your blanket end up being?
to be honest i can't remember sorry
❤❤❤
The transcript says this yarn is an "iron weight." Sorry, not familiar with that term.
Oh! Aran weight?
weight 4 in usa
Thank you for explaining it so well. I really like this stitch
