Last one ist not the March of the Elisabether, it is: Geschwindmarsch Nach Motiven Aus Quadrillen/ Quick March According To Motifs From Quadrilles :)
@@JumpingFlapjack Actually, this just another name for this march.
Oh, I didn't know that at all, I had another march in my mind that sounds clearly different. Well, I have learned something once again :)

Тому кто служил в армии - тому нравится!❤❤❤
The Germans should bring back the Prussian-style percussion - the drums especially makes these marches by Winkel all the more impressive.
The DDR military bands kept that alive until they were incorporated into the Bundeswehr. It lost that snap and boom with reunification.
Армейский порядок - кто не служил - тот нас не поймет!❤❤❤
Magnífico video. Este LP lo tengo. Lo herede de mi señor padre. Espléndida disciplina.
In Germany released simply under the title "Der große Zapfenstreich", this LP was recorded with Heinz Winkel conducting. Merci beaucoup!
This is how military music should sound like.
*Played by a Police band ;D
@@scanida5070 yea but german police was pretty army like till the 80s.
I purchased the original LP album sometime ... 1960-61. Wore out several copies.
Likewise in 1960. I was surprised to see it here and enjoy recalling it played again.
1000% Discipline
