@@nate1066pollock look at the range of Batman films. They can be dark, gritty films, or slapstick comedies. The Bond series is incredibly comparable, if not 1:1
I respect your list immensely, but I will say until my dying breath that The Lego Batman movie is in the top 3. It really crystallizes Batman as a character and delves into what he's actually after in his Crusade.
Dude that movie has no right of being soo good. I went in expecting some laughs but it's genuinely one of the best Batman stories ever made. The character is so awesome that even in lego minifig form it shows
LFG!! My favorite critic reviewing all Batman movies! Mask of the phantasm is my favorite Batman movie! I rewatched it the other day and I still love it. The opening music to that movie is brilliant.
I think that if Flashpoint Paradox and Assault on Arkham get to be included in this list, then Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths should have also earned a spot. Maybe my memory of it is skewed, but Batman played in MAJOR role in it, and honestly his scenes are the only ones that I remember from the movie.
I find most of them aside from mask of the phantasm are almost unwatchable. Solid comic stories adapted to animation format… but they’re just so poorly voice acted with monotone delivery that they nearly put you to sleep. With MOTP, it felt like they were actually trying to deliver something special whereas the modern animated films feel so soulless.
Dan, did you watch all of these in full? From start to finish? That is alot of hours spent watching batman, so thank you for taking one for the team :P
Batman is absolutely positioned as the key component in both Justice League cuts. He's the one who assembles the team! Would have been curious to know where amongst this list those 2 rank for you.
As much as I love The Dark Knight, I have to put mask of the phantasm at the top. Great music and amazing art direction, I get chills every time I see the initial time he puts on the cowl. And finally, the completely unhinged and glorious performance of Mark Hammill. The Dark Knight is a close second, held there by a not as interesting Batman.
This is me, but 89 might be first. Hoping The Batman shakes things up. The soundtrack is incredible. Also, the animated series and the arkham games are my favorite "voiced" versions and maybe Batman versions in general
The most important thing to me is that you took each film for the piece that it is without projecting your expectations. I think that's the best way to enjoy art.
It is so frustrating when reviewers bring in their expectations. I've been trying to find other opinions of the recently released Uncharted movie but everyone else I follow played the game and cant see past that one representation of those characters. And it is even worse with book adaptations. I know its near impossible to do (leave your expectations at the door) but to be a genuinely good reviewer it is mandatory
My list would've been different, but that's okay - there's no way to make this list that wouldn't be subjective. There is no right or wrong. As always thank you so very much for your video.
Dan talking Batman movies for 1 hour. My day just got better *Public Enemies was a better GN than movie. As I watched this I walked to my local Target where they had the 4 pack of 89 through Batman and Robin that I've been looking for
Nice to see this list include the animated movies, there's so many good ones that often get overlooked. When I first saw it, I was surprised Batman VS TMNT worked so well, but it's definitely one of my favorites. The crossover comics that the movie is based on are also surprisingly great, definitely recommend checking those out. I really need to go back and rewatch some of the live action ones, but for the animated movies, Under The Red Hood has gotta be my favorite. I've also heard of Batman Ninja, but never ended up watching it. After this video, I might have to check it out!
Loved the list, but are you sure Batman v Superman should be above Dark Knight Rises? The Ultimate Edition must be pretty transformative to make that true.

I follow you on Letterboxd and have been seeing you log each Batman movie and was wondering if it would ever end because it was happening for MONTHS. Good to know it did result in something 😂
Love the Nolan movies but to be honest, Batman just works the best in animated form for me. I think his costume and a lot of the villains are very hard to adapt in live action. Which is why my favorite will always be Conroy in the animated series. My favorite Batman movies are Mask of the Phantasm and Under the Red Hood. I also like Batman Begins a bit more than the Dark Knight (although I think Dark Knight is the better movie), I just love how Nolan tells the origin story in non-linear order. Your video also got me super hyped to check out the adaptations of Hush and The Long Halloween. Im gonna see The Batman on Wednesday and I'm very excited! Thanks for the wonderful video!
Most of Batman's villains are the most realistic Villains in comic books. What are you talking? His villains don't have super powers like other villains. You don't know sh*t about Batman
@@mutantx8 Superhero movies work best in animeted form in general but in tearms of action even though the movie was not great the wherehouse scene in BatmanvSuperman is the best looking action scene i have seen in superhero movies. Design has a lot to do with that
I agree about the Killing Joke, I was so disappointed with it. Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are always Batman and the Joker for me, I hear their voices when I'm reading Batman comics, and I was so excited for it. I love a lot of the other animated films, glad to see Under the Red Hood, JL Doom and Flashpoint getting strong reviews!
I remember me and a work fan were really excited for it, especially with it releasing in theaters. He got to see it before before me.... the disappointment on his face, immediately transferring to mine is something I'll never forget. Unfortunately.
I eagerly pre-ordered this movie on Blu-ray when it was announced; and was planning a Watch Party around it. Then the deluge of bad reviews poured in before I even received my copy. I viewed a little bit of the Prologue and then cancelled the Watch Party. Considering the pedigree of the talent both in front of and behind the camera; and the excellence of the source material; this has to be the most disappointing major Batman project ever.
@@lovetheblue6659 idk if I've ever seen a more useless prolugue, that felt so detached from the actual movie. Im still not sure what the point of it was. Other than to bang his good friend/crime fighting partners' daughter.
I remember sharing the trailer with my friends who I grew up watching Batman with, but I heard such bad reactions to it that I just never bothered with it. At least Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy came back for those three Arkham video games, those were incredible and they were awesome in them.
Yeeah. The only good thing was BatFleck, I think. I'm really excited for RobBat Battinson's take but DAMN! I really wanted to see Afflecks Batman fight deathstroke

Your countdown is great! The Dark Knight is phenomenally constructed, with a tour-de-force performance from Heath Ledger, but my favorite Batman film is Batman Begins (I haven't seen The Batman yet) because, in addition to the psychological horror elements, I love that film's story of an individual who learns how to use their trauma as a force to protect and uplift others.
Dan Murrell is the hero we don’t deserve! Impressive job going way below the surface to plumb the width and depth they have taken this character. And I think that’s the thing about Batman…he is singular in ways, but also malleable in so many ways.
You should Definitely check out Batman Beyond. It was a great series and a continuation of the 90’s Batman: The Animated Series. There are many episodes that I think you would enjoy. Especially since you liked Batman: The Animated Series.
Very glad to see the batman movie with adam west getting some love in this list always been a fav of mine but i loved that cheesy era because it never took itself to seriously and was just good fun. Also great to see so many animated movies getting a chance to be spotlighted i have to admit i have only seen a fraction but so few lists bother with them and yet some of them are better than some of the big blockbuster movies we got. And finally as much as i might want to try and sneak keatons batman to the top i know objectivly in my heart the nolan movies were better well at least the 1st and 2nd the 3rd did not seem to have the same magic i do agree with that. But the dark knight with heath legder is probally the best example of casting someone outside of the norm, when first announced there were big concerns and then we saw what he did and bam home run. At first i was not sure i would watch the movie went round to a freinds who was part way though (lets just say a poor copy) but it was right on the prision interagtion sequence and even at that poor level i could see how well joker was both written and acted i defiantly made sure to see it.
No movie will ever come close to the badass introduction to Batman in the 1989 comig down from the ceiling with his cape open like a bat wings and creeping behind those 2 robbers!
Batman Ninja is such an inspired pick! It shows how Batman can be adapted in several forms and storylines, while still retaining the true essence of the characters in that universe! Def a top 10 pick for me as well.
Love the rankings. I would have swapped Batman 1989 and Batman: Under the Red Hood. Under the Red Hood arguably has the best character arcs, even better than the two Nolan live action ones. Appreciate the effort of ranking all of them.
@@alexsilva28 I think it would've been had he watched Batman Beyond. He does a great job explaining its ranking reasoning. Thought he was very fair; I felt the same way about the third act. I didn't watch BB, either, and that was the best part of the movie as someone more unfamiliar with BB
Hey Dan, out of curiosity, what is for you a better version of the Penguin than Batman Returns? There aren't a lot of Penguin centric movies (in fact this could be the only one) other than Burton's. Great list overall, personally I would put Batman and Robin much higher, because regardless of the filmmaker's intent , it now plays as an amazing superhero spoof movie.
Curious as well. I don't know that I've enjoyed Penguin much as a live action deal, hoping Farrell changes that next week! I like penguin in the animated series and the Arkham video games penguin is really well done. All of the Batman rogues are pretty incredible in those games.
It doesn't get to qualify for this list, but Gotham's slow development of the Penguin is outstanding. The first Joker was also a take that felt both unique and true to the essence (ignoring the weird shit they did later).

Mark Hammil is my favorite Joker. He's the closest to taking what's written and just doing that the best he can. There's something to be said for that. It's not a "take" on the Joker. Which is why I don't really think as highly of Heath Ledger's Joker. The performance, yes, but he's not how I picture him when I read Batman. It's fine to have different things though so I'm not knocking anyone's opinion on it. The animated movies are higher than a lot of live action ones personally for me. Red Hood and Phantasm are two of the best Batman movies easily. I really dislike Batman: Ninja. Some of this ranking surprised me, respectfully.
Batman: Hush is probably the best DC animated movie adaptation because it actually improves the source material. Such a better Act 3 than the comic book
I was just happy to see a Scooby Doo and Batman film on here; also completely agree with your opinion of Batman and TMNT (the top Tier 2, Let’s Go lol)
I appreciate Dan spending all the hours he did watching all of these and taking time to rank them. This is now a definitive catalog of all Batman movies.
Fun fact: Three years after doing batman: year one, Ben Mckenzie would go on to play James Gordon in the TV series Gotham which focuses on Gordon's early days in GCPD. The show also tackles the origins of other famous batman characters including the ever changing complex origin of the Joker.
Fun fact but also a not so fun fact as I felt much the same McKenzie's Batman voice was super underwhelming and I was really excited to see if after finally getting the comic
You should do a list of best fantasy properties. LOTR, GOT, Narnia, Princess Bride, Conan, Legend, Dark Crystal, Neverending Story, Jason and the Argonauts, Clash of the Titans, Labyrinth, Green Knight, maybe include Harry Potter
Along with Street Fighter the movie, I have fond memories of the 90s cheese-fest Batman & Robin! I honestly place it in the 'so bad it's good tier'. Possibly intentional but not knowing for sure is part of the fun. It may stink as a film, but it smells like discipline.
Great video! My favorite is Batman Beyond Return of the Joker, for Mark Hamill’s performance at least. One note about it-it was originally censored for US release, and the censored version is kind of non sensical. There was a big trade in trying to find the uncensored version at the time! Hope that’s the version you watched.
Thanks for taking the time to make this list Dan. I'm very glad Begins got the respect it deserves. In the years since The Dark Knight my opinion has changed and I feel like Begins is the best Batman film ever.
The Dark Knight Batman Begins Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm Batman Beyond: Return Of The Joker The LEGO Batman Movie The Dark Knight Rises Batman('89) Batman Returns Batman('66) Batman Forever Batman v Superman Batman & Robin
Aw Public Enemies is one of my favorites, but I can see what you mean. The comic it was based one was basically the climax to a years long storyline. It adapts the specific arc well, but it is missing the years of build up the comic had.
This was a lot of fun, great list! I'm one of the few who doesn't really like Batman Returns, I literally just watched it for the first time a few months ago, and it just felt like style over substance at every point. That can work to a degree, but I'm not really in love with the Burton's style to begin with. Also, I absolutely love Dark Knight Rises, but I totally understand those who don't. Personally, I view it as a great culmination of what the two previous films built, I mean it literally puts Bruce in a giant well and has him face what has haunted him since his childhood. I'm not very familiar with the animated Batman films, so it was really interesting to see some of what they had to offer. I definitely want to watch them at some point.
Batman Returns is not style over substance. It's substance layered with style. The thematics of Batman, Penguin and Catwoman all feeling like outsides out of society's norms and therefore able relate to each other, but at the same time on vastly different paths and therefore can't completely connect to each other gives us way more substance than many comic book movies. The quote from Penguin: "You're just jealous that I'm a genuine freak and you have to wear a mask!" with Batman replying "You'd might be right" is so thought-provoking and interesting. The idea that Batman in Burtons univers wants to completely devolve himself into being Batman and not a human, because being human comes with so many losses, which is emphasized by Bruce not ending with Selina at the end of the movie, cause they can''t be together. He can't be together with anyone and neither can she. So interesting. That's substance.
@@KTK44 I didn't say the film had no substance. I just said it felt like style OVER substance. I do agree that the whole Bruce vs. Batman thing is indeed a theme, and it's one of the parts of the movie I enjoyed. There are other ideas thrown around as well, but I felt Burton's desire to express his style drowned out a lot of those ideas. To be fair, I've only seen it once though, so I'm by no means an expert on the script. If it holds a deeper meaning for you, that's great. :)
@@Sam-cv6un Watch it again then. I watched it again yesterday. I've watched it since my childhood. Back that I just loved it for its entertainment value, it moves on so quickly, cause it's so exciting and thrilling. But now, I still love it for it its entertainment value, but I've also begun to love it for its thematics and for the fact that Tim Burton is an auteur who they let have free reigns to do the exact movie he wanted and he took that chance and went all out with it. Too many comic book movies are hard to separate from each other because they aren't made by auteurs with a vision to make his own film, but made by a corporate with a vision to earn lots of money.
@@KTK44 I'm not going to re-watch a movie I didn't enjoy much just a few months after I watched it the first time. I simply don't have the time for that. Dunno why you're being so insistent. It's ok for people to disagree on art you know...
Hype for the new one can break this top 2. There's something that Nolan don't do good is fight scenes, just image a Nolan movie with Zack directing the fights! 👌🏾
The problem with The Killing Joke is that even if they had adapted it panel for panel, it'd only be about 30 minutes long. That's why they did that prologue.
I always enjoy hearing your thoughts on films, and in this case I had seen quite a few of them since I really like the Batman animated movies in general. It's nice to see I'm not alone in some of the ones I really didn't like (The Killing Joke was such a major disappointment for me, not the least of which for the botched Batgirl prologue, and I found Public Enemies so boring I turned it off) and that some of the ones I really enjoyed (Under the Red Hood) were also high on your list. I'm a little surprised Hush is so high on your list. I was really enjoying it until the ending villain reveal. I guess the one twist doesn't necessarily ruin the whole thing, but it's just a bit awkward since there were scenes that don't make any sense given who really turned out to be the villain. The kicker is they changed the ending from the graphic novel it was based on too, so I was really scratching my head about the whole thing. Great video, and really enjoyable to see clips of movies I haven't seen yet. Batman Ninja looks crazy interesting, I may have to check that one out sometime!
Ah, I thought I was in the minority not liking the Killing Joke. I totally agree with you, I think they tried to play up the disturbing side of the story but forgot to concentrate on the characters themselves, especially when it comes to Barbara Gordon as you say.
Stop making apologies and excuses for putting batman 89 in 3rd place...that movie rocked, and for a VERY long time was the *only superhero movie that stuck the landing....and the prince music was awesome..lol
My top 5: 5. Batman: Under the Red Hood 4. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm 3. The Batman (2022) 2. Batman Begins 1. The Dark Knight Granted, I haven’t seen a lot of the other ones you have in your top 20, particularly the animated ones
The biggest surprise was Batman Ninja being in your top 10. When it wasn't in the mid-tier I'd assumed you'd overlooked it (shame on me). I wonder if you liked it so much since you aren't very well versed in anime? It hits a lot of anime tropes and doesn't do them as well as other movies/series have. I don't dislike Batman Ninja, but the only top 10 list it would fall under for me would be "ridiculous movies to put on to confuse my friends." I really liked this format. You should definitely keep including theatrical and non-theatrical movies for future list like this. Maybe at a future big Spider-Man release you can revisit that list to include non-theatrical movies too?
Great list Dan...it's a great compendium of all the Batman movies, mostly animated, but a wide variety. One query....did you watch the Batman Beyond original cut, which I think was R rated? On one hand, much more disturbing acts by Joker, putting more dramatic effect of Robin's trauma and response, but probably made a better story, than what was released.
You said that the animated series is the best iteration of Batman for you, I agreed so damn good, did you play the Arkham games? How did you find those? Experiencing Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill in those games outside of the animated series was such a great feeling. And you're right about Keaton being Batman, that Instagram post of tweet of his shadow in the Batsuit recently in London is awesome

Heads up! a lot of the animated movies Dan enjoyed more are available in an 18 film collection on Apple TV for $60 CAD, which equates to around $3 a movie!
Man dawn of justice is really underrated imo As my pick: 1. The dark knight (literally the GOAT) 2. Dawn of justice UE (as a favorite it's number 1) 3. Batman begins (3 and 2 are interchangeable) 4. Batman 1989 (Rest are really tough to rank)
Do you think you will rank the James bond movies at some point? I would love to see your take on these knowing you are a Bond fan
Great idea!
The tricky part of ranking Bond is the wide spectrum of tone in the franchise.
I would love to see that
@@nate1066pollock look at the range of Batman films.
The character is so awesome that even in lego minifig form it shows
LEGO Batman is TERRIBLE.
Bottom of the list.
@@ieyke is it? Cuz it’s funny?
@@arodrigo24 No. Plenty of Batman stuff is funny.
LEGO Batman just sucks ass.
I suggest cinema therapys analysis on nolan's take.
My thoughts exactly! It was basically Batman/Owlman showdown.
That's the one with James Woods as owl man? If so then ya batman was so critical in that one.
Definitely
Nah tbh he’s not in it that much
@@LibertyBridgeProductions Yeah, he really isn't. Very minor part. More of a Superman story than anything.
This is why you're the best Dan! I love the animated movies.. IMO they give us the best batman.
@@Janjibro66That movie sucks doesn’t touch my top 5
Dan, did you watch all of these in full? From start to finish? That is alot of hours spent watching batman, so thank you for taking one for the team :P
I did, indeed! Plus a couple more that didn't make the cut.
Batman is absolutely positioned as the key component in both Justice League cuts. He's the one who assembles the team! Would have been curious to know where amongst this list those 2 rank for you.
I would have also like for him to separate both versions of BvS (theatrical v ultimate)
Incredible music. Michael Giacchino's The Batman score is probably my favorite Batman music I've heard since then
Respect for ranking all of these films. My top 3:
1. The Dark Knight
2. Batman 89
3. Batman Begins
@@drewjemerigbeas someone who only played a couple hours of uncharted 4. Not attached at all... that movie isn't good.
My list would've been different, but that's okay - there's no way to make this list that wouldn't be subjective.
There is no right or wrong.
As always thank you so very much for your video.
Dan talking Batman movies for 1 hour. My day just got better
*Public Enemies was a better GN than movie.
Mask of the Phantasm is phenomenal , glad its getting some love
Loved the list, but are you sure Batman v Superman should be above Dark Knight Rises? The Ultimate Edition must be pretty transformative to make that true.
" ...when he's throwing the stuff over to Joffery." 💀
Hey to each their own, but yeah that ranking of The Dark Knight Rises stung me a little.
Can't wait to see how Pattinson's Dark Knight fits in on this list, Dan = You've gotta update this in a couple of weeks!

@@andrewbailey9453 I meant their designs, not their gimmicks.

Nice to see the Ultimate Edition of BvS is still getting recognition and having more people come around to it years later :)
I was NOT ready for “it smells like discipline” lmao
I think I'm pretty much 100% in agreement with this list except for Batman V Superman. Even the extended version couldn't get me on board.

undeservingly too low
"'The Dark Knight, for Heath Ledger's performance alone." -Mr. Sunday Movies
“Well, children can be cruel”, this is just so funny to me, reminds me of a certain horse…..man.
Your countdown is great!
The Dark Knight is phenomenally constructed, with a tour-de-force performance from Heath Ledger, but my favorite Batman film is Batman Begins (I haven't seen The Batman yet) because, in addition to the psychological horror elements, I love that film's story of an individual who learns how to use their trauma as a force to protect and uplift others.
dark knight is just so epic
Dan Murrell is the hero we don’t deserve! Impressive job going way below the surface to plumb the width and depth they have taken this character. And I think that’s the thing about Batman…he is singular in ways, but also malleable in so many ways.
@@siddharthroda5315 how? cus dkr isnt 3?
You should Definitely check out Batman Beyond. It was a great series and a continuation of the 90’s Batman: The Animated Series. There are many episodes that I think you would enjoy. Especially since you liked Batman: The Animated Series.
Thank you, I've been looking the lists like this. It helps me a lot to find and watch specially all good animated movies of "The Batman."
Batman Begins is my number 1. Great character arc. Great development. A plot that makes sense. Awesome way to relaunch Batman back into seriousness.
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker and Flashpoint are my 2 favourite movies of all time.
And Will Arnett is extraordinary in The LEGO Batman Movie
And it’s better than Hush and BvR
@@crowley582 Definitely. Arguably better than all the animated features other than Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
Return of the joker should've been higher imo
Good list. I was expecting the Popcorn and Pearls count to be higher, I feel like that moment is in every Batman movie!

I own the majority of these already. Haven't seen some of the lower ranked ones though
I appreciate Dan spending all the hours he did watching all of these and taking time to rank them. This is now a definitive catalog of all Batman movies.
Great list. I need to rewatch Batman 89. It's been a while.
Also, Robin Lord Taylor as the Penguin was legendary
I'm so happy to see someone who loves the 89 movie like me. It's what introduced to batman and its my number 2
Thanks for taking the time to make this list Dan.
I'm very glad Begins got the respect it deserves. In the years since The Dark Knight my opinion has changed and I feel like Begins is the best Batman film ever.
I’m gonna have to say it cause I don’t see anyone talking about it but I have to nominate a Knights tale for heath ledgers performance alone.
An interesting list idea I don't seem to ever hear: a ranking of each individual short film/story in the V/H/S series?
The Dark Knight
Batman Begins
Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm
Batman Beyond: Return Of The Joker
The LEGO Batman Movie
The Dark Knight Rises
Batman('89)
Batman Returns
Batman('66)
Batman Forever
Batman v Superman
Batman & Robin
I'm glad to see BATMAN 1989 rank that high, though it is always sad that it requires a justification to avoid angry fanboys.
I accept Soul of the Dragon at 34 for Dan’s reasons. It’s a pretty fun movie, but it’s really a BINO property (Batman In Name Only)
Aw Public Enemies is one of my favorites, but I can see what you mean. The comic it was based one was basically the climax to a years long storyline. It adapts the specific arc well, but it is missing the years of build up the comic had.
I think Batman vs Dracula is very underrated. Pretty dark in my option.
This is why Dan's channel hits different then other critics. Roger Ebert is applauding you that is a man who appreciates a good faith joke.
Suggestion: How about a ranking of every Superman movie ranked??
Loved this list. And the editing too! Great pulls from each of the films. I don't think I'm alone in wanting to see more of these videos!
Stop making apologies and excuses for putting batman 89 in 3rd place...that movie rocked, and for a VERY long time was the *only superhero movie that stuck the landing....and the prince music was awesome..lol
Justice League Crisis on Infinite Earths while not a central batman story has one of the best philosophical quotes and scenes in Batman History

I don't dislike Batman Ninja, but the only top 10 list it would fall under for me would be "ridiculous movies to put on to confuse my friends."
I really liked this format.
Reminds me of the story of the bot that watched 1000 hours of batman movies
You said that the animated series is the best iteration of Batman for you, I agreed so damn good, did you play the Arkham games? How did you find those? Experiencing Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill in those games outside of the animated series was such a great feeling. And you're right about Keaton being Batman, that Instagram post of tweet of his shadow in the Batsuit recently in London is awesome
Love the Arkham games except for those f***ing Batmobile levels in Arkham Knight!!
@@DanMurrellMovies lol, very true, I never did the optional stuff with the batmobile after having to use it way too much in the game.. the joker/Batman stuff made me glad I kept going though. I think City was my favorite. Gliding from helicopter to helicopter to track down Dr Strange and then that clayface bit. Awesome.
Glad to see HUSH get some love.

1. The Dark Knight [LIVE ACTION] (Joker #21)
just ranking the live action films featuring Batman and his rogues, my list:
The Batman
The Dark Knight
Joker
Batman Returns
Batman Begins
Batman 89
Birds of Prey
The Dark Knight Rises
Batman 66
Zack Snyder’s Justice League
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Batman & Robin
Batman Forever
Suicide Squad
Catwoman
putting Injustice so high is very... questionable in my opinion... also I might be wrong but I think that the Batman Lego Movie DC Heroes Unite is just the cut scenes from the second Lego Batman game
My list would be (based only on the ones I've seen):
1. The Dark Knight
2. The Batman (2022)
3. Batman Returns
4. Batman (1989)
5. Batman Beyond Return of the Joker
6. Son of Batman
7. The Dark Knight Rises
8. Batman and Robin (For me this movie is just so fun to watch because of how bad it is, I can't put it lower)
9. Superman & Batman Apocalypse
10. Batman Bad Blood
11. Batman Begins
12. Batman Under the Red Hood
13. Flashpoint Paradox
14. Batman Mask of the Phantasm
15. Batman Mystery of the Batwoman
16. Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero
17. Batman vs Robin
18. Justice League Doom
19. Batman Year One
20. Batman Gotham Knight
21. Batman V Superman Dawn of Justice
22. Batman Assault on Arkham
23. The Dark Knight Return
24. Batman the Killing Joke
25. Injustice (Couldn't even bring myself to finish the movie)
Can’t fault the top 3, batman 1989 will always be my Batman movie and in many ways my favourite but can’t ignore the brilliance of batman begins and the dark knight. I’d have had under the red hood fourth, absolutely adore that film, it’s flawless.
Heads up! a lot of the animated movies Dan enjoyed more are available in an 18 film collection on Apple TV for $60 CAD, which equates to around $3 a movie!
Awesome man
Man dawn of justice is really underrated imo
As my pick:
1. The dark knight (literally the GOAT)
2. Dawn of justice UE (as a favorite it's number 1)
3. Batman begins (3 and 2 are interchangeable)
4. Batman 1989
(Rest are really tough to rank)
