I'm not less impressed with your language learning skills after seeing the number of books you haven't finished, if anything, it just shows how relatable you are! I've got Turkish and Greek books that I haven't even looked inside.

I love language books. Even if I'm not learning the language, they help keep that "spark" of the language learning passion alive in me. :)

It might be hard but you could do a subscriber giveaway or something with them. Just a thought (I'm not saying this because I want a free book, I don't study most of the languages mentioned I just think it's a neato idea).
Aussi c'est bien cool quand tu changes à français, ton accent est très clair :)

Great idea but i donated most of my books to missionaries who are going to Japan - the other books I sold here already :) I cant afford to ship books internationally to subscribers - maybe one day if TH-cam pays enough!

This actually makes me laugh because I do the _exact same thing;_ just buying a lot of language books and only using a small handful while others collect dust. 😂
I’ve actually had to tell myself when ever I want to buy another book of language learning “are you ACTUALLY GOING TO USE IT?” And “you have so many books already, don’t. D o n t. DONT.”
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Being able to see that you have purchased books and have not used them all made me feel better. I come across books to learn languages, and I don't always use them. 😅 But I can't seem to get rid of them because I plan to use them in the future. Also, my collection of books isn't as extensive as yours. But either way, I get attached to my language learning books so much I haven't gotten rid of any of them.

Kedves Lindie!😊 Érdekes volt látni, hogy milyen nyelvkönyveid vannak! Látszik, hogy nagyon jó vizuális memóriád van, mivel sok ideogrammákat (mint pl. a japán kanjik) használó nyelvvel foglalkozol! A szanszkrít nem érdekelne? Tudtommal, beszélik anyanyelvként is Indiában. További sok örömet és sikert kívánok neked a nyelvtanulásban! 😊

Q: I'm currently learning korean but I keep remembering the syllables of words in the reverse order. Repeatedly. For example, I would say or write "목과교" instead of "교과목". Even writing that out now was confusing me a little. Is this a common thing? And if so, how can I overcome this problem in the future?

Unfortunately there have been languages that I have taken an interest to that I've bought books for but didn't work out for me because I either didn't have time to take away from my Japanese studies (my current major) or I just didn't stick through with it for very long (Chinese [I have that same book "practice makes perfect"], Korean, re-learning Bulgarian [learning grammar properly and more technical vocab]... etc...)

구립도서관에 자주가셔서 browsing 겸 둘러보시고 인터파크 교보문고온라인으로 검색하고 리뷰도 읽어보고 주문하시면 되죠.

I want to learn both Chinese and Japanese but I don't know where to start... Should I start studying Japanese or Chinese first? I like both languages and countries equally and I would like to visit them at some point in the future but deciding which language to learn first is driving me nuts :/ I would really appreciate your help since you have a lot of experience on this matter.

Kostas Ioannidis you should do chinese because the grammar is so much more similiar to english grammar, so after you learn the vast characters and vocabulary you wont have to work to hard on the grammar. But pronunciation is a pain in the butt so im not sure.

Yes, I heard about the pronunciation... It's ok though, since I am doing this for fun I welcome any challenges :) Thank you for your reply!

If you start with Chinese and get at least HSK5, than you will probably give up the idea of learning Japanese. Your brain will be filled with characters, no more free space, haha
