Highness looks more classic... although its modern too. But gearbox ronin has more easy to use...
Ronin had silent start feature. So exhaust note comparison during idling is not fair. Infact exhaust has to be compared while riding.

What say about the difference in fuel cap in both bikes, I personally feel & have experienced that there are more chances of water leakage in the type Ronin uses as compared to the one used by RE or Hness

Is gear ratio of Ronin same as highness (tall gear).

Ronin vs cb 200x for daily office commuting
I see most of the review mentions Ronin as compact sized motorcycle. Understand that it is smaller than other 350 CC. Does it looks smaller than 150 CC bikes like Unicorn, Pulsar and FZ-X, in person? I am looking for a 150+cc motorcycle with relaxed riding position. Unicorn, FZ X were the only options earlier. Interested to know, if Ronin look as big as these 150 CC bikes.
It also looking small due to 17 inch front tyre if TVS give 19inch 100section wheel like CB350RS to Ronin than it will enhance its looks and riding stance

Tvs as a manufacturer is better than Honda. Honda is not approachable and not responsive. Honda dealers are pathetic. Tvs is available for any issues you have with the dealer or the bike but Honda tells you to sort the matter with the dealer only.
Honda dealers are charging you 7-8k more on registration and insurance combined when i went there. Tvs on the other hand has everything proper. They did not charge me even 1 rupee extra.
I would vote for TVS only because the manufacturer is responsive and approachable.

Being a Mechanical engineer and a designer in automotive field, I have following observations.
I was looking for a family bike for city rides mostly with a flat (horizontal seat), circular headlamp and retro-like + premium design (not like 100-150cc bikes).
After exploring lot of bikes, I finalized three options to compare.
1. Honda H'ness 350 CC
2. Royal Enfield Hunter Rebel 350 CC
3. TVS Ronin 225 CC
I test drove all 3 vehicles 2-3 times and following are my observations,
1. Honda H'ness 350 CC -
*Pros* - Nice retro/classic look, Low end torque is good, Seating space for pillion rider is more than other two vehicles.
*Cons* - Bulkier (Box size), Paint quality, Higher cost as compared to other two vehicles
2. Royal Enfield Hunter Rebel 350 CC -
*Pros* - Beautiful Design/Styling/Look, Great color schemes, Turning radius is smaller than Ronin (Less space to turn the vehicle), Reasonable cost.
*Cons* - The biggest issue (design flaw) is positioning of foot rest (pegs), just below the sitting position. This makes it difficult to keep your feet on ground while you are at signal or in slow moving traffic. Foot rest (pegs) keep touching your legs and is very uncomfortable.
Another point is that seat on rear end tapers downward and seating space for pillion rider being less, pillion rider tend to move back and when you accelerate, pillion may feel like toppling/falling down at back side. So this is not safe and hence, back rest is MUST.
Handle bar positioned in such a way that you need to keep your hands stretched straight all the times which is not a comfortable sitting posture.
Low end torque/performance (2 & 3 gear) is sluggish due to bigger engine. (Not as good as smaller capacity bikes)
3. TVS Ronin 225 CC -
*Pros* - Semi-retro look with circular headlamp, Driveability and Performance is superb.
Handle bar position is very good for comfortable sitting posture with hands slightly bent in elbows. Very easy to handle in traffic.
*Cons* - Very bad design/aesthetics of fuel tank (some odd shape), Color schemes are odd (not impressive), Turning radius is higher than Hunter (Needs larger space to turn the vehicle). Cost is on higher side for lower CC as compared to Hunter (mainly due to features).
Overall, none of them is meeting my requirements (as mentioned above) and hence, I decided to wait for Kawasaki W175 or Yamaha XSR or Improved version of Royal Enfield Hunter.

Honda walo ko burnol do😅 some are not aware of TVSs quality and supreme technology. edited.. kuch bhi review.. khali specs bata raha hai.. aur young people will buy CB350 and mature sensible people will buy Ronin. Long run mein kuch jyada farak nahi padega dono mein. Ronin i feel is likely to fail bcoz of looks and colour.

Engine is the heart of every bike. Honda engines are refined,durable and high performing in the long run. TVS engines are totally unpredictable and no guarantee in the long run, that's why they are cheaper
Also top speed of Ronin is also around 135-140

TVS Ronin is more affordable and also more economical to run and maintain. Honda is more premium. One should be considering Ronin if wants to experience similar experience on a economical running cost.
TVs is cheap quality build after few days you will get to know it will start to rust engine life will be less . Honda some parts if improve it will be best motorcycle . Like meter, back seat , kick start , crash guard , engine guard , chain cover , mudguard for both tyres to avoid sand
I have used TVS Apache for 6 years 65k Kms. No issues with build quality. Infact using highness from past 15k kms. The quality on tvs is better as per my experience as per the premium charged by honda.
@@harikrishna6715 no bro my father useing 11year tvs wego and 2year old honda activa..., nowdays activa started to faceing rusting issues, the same time 11year old1.lakh km run wego have no major rust and build quality issues..
All the tvs products are not same in quality.. Eg.. (Scooty pep)they have reliability also 🙂

Highness has more metal then Ronin. Front mudguard and side panels are fiber in Ronin.
People will appreciate Honda highness after few decades. Its a timeless bike and will get more beautiful with time.

Xsr should surpass all cons of Ronin and other to be impactfull in terms of comfort mileage and overall design... people will wait I think xsr and Kawasaki are near launch...abhi nahin to kabhi nahin....dec is too far..they should being it now....
No official notice for xsr launch and many are saying it wont be launched in india.

Honda is more stiff than Ronin..but IMO better than classic 350 also

they can't be compared. both are best in their own segment. ronin is a jack of all Trades while H'ness is the best 350cc cruiser.
