One of Kirkhope's best compositions. It's so creative, perfectly atmospheric, and catchy. He managed to captured the feeling of this factory so well, despite being so different from the previous factories in the series.
To this day, I have never been able to beat that gawd darn DK arcade game. There is an arcade bar down the street from me that has an actual machine, and man, after 10-12 tries per time I go there, it gets me in such a drunken rage.
Same with me. I was raised with the console generation. And I used to be good at it. Eventually I made the transition to PC gaming and my console gaming skills weren't what they used to be.

I don't think DK64 is a "great" game, but godamn i still cant help but play it every now and then. The nostalgia is really strong in this game for me. At the age of 3-5, I mostly played Crash 2 and 3 and on rare occasions one of my older brothers would let me play on their N64 and the only game they let me play was DK64. Unlike Crash, DK64 felt like a huge playground, a whole new world that i could endlessly explore and have fun in with a huge sense of freedom. I played on a save file that had almost all the levels unlocked and frantic factory simply peaked my curiosity. The atmosphere was unlike anything i had experienced at the time. Whereas playing Crash at the time was simply just my favorite way to spend time with my mom and dad.
Have you tried turning it off and on again? Ok, seriously, though. Try using different wording or numerical v0w3ls to get around TH-cam's stupidity. Agreed!
Much more of a dance of the sugar plum fairy sort of feel to it, so magical xxx
I always heard the watch chime music from For A Few Dollars More.
RIP to 8 year-old me's DK64 run. Cause of death: fear.
this song will always have a place in my heart as the first song I taught myself on the piano. 13-year-old me had a lot more dedication than I do now
This music is the peace of mind for me. Played that game alot, really love it

Oh man do I fucking feel you. As a kid, especially at 75m, it was so hard. But the more I played it, the more i was able to finish it.
Game ain't that hard. Just get good.
@@lamontyaboy718 I just don’t get it though. I get to a level and if keeps making me replay old levels. I can never win!
