I wish to use external power. The instructions say 90-250V AC which seems a bit high. Some other websites say 18V/500mA. Which one? Also, can I keep the batteries in the unit while using external power or is it just one of the other. I ask because it may be useful if there is a power cut and batteries are a backup?
just the one unless you got a chime inside house .which i did not get it just chim es outside when pressed and on your mobile thats when it comes through i mean someone rang (pressed)mine it came through on my mobile 2hours later its a ripp off...?.
I bought one of these (EBAY). not this one but the sensitivity to motion is overly sensitive so I had to disable it when I felt I didn't need it. it would go off every couple of minutes. we're not sure what set it off. leaves, windchimes? not sure. The instructions were not very clear so I'm still not sure where to add (or what type) of storage card I can add. I did order another doorbell from another seller and hoping they work in concert with each other. we are concerned about intruders. I bought this more for surveillance. we live way out in the countryside and have chickens which have been attacked by coyotes, hawks, etc and we're trying to keep an eye on them. Thanks for the video. I had hoped you might show the addon storage card and how that works. it apparently has built in memory, but I'd like to add more. Unlike the name brand RING - you can record video without a subscription. I do have the app you show in your video and it seems to work OK. just not sure what app the next one requires.
my smart door cam rings on the outside we dont hear it the person pressing door bell does but when it came there was no chime for inside of house and when someone presses door bell it could be up to two hours before it comes through on your mobile wish i never bought it...?.not the best buy i ever made feel ripped off...?.
It depends how far away from the bell you are. At 13:04, i show the bell ringing with the door quite a bit away, but when i went further than that it didnt ring so make sure the distance isnt too far apart

CoolFox with the package they advised to download the app ToSee but you use a different app is the one you use easier to connect more than one iPhone because with the recommended app I can’t seem to find a way to connect more than one device which is very annoying
Waving your hand in front of it doesn’t trigger the sensor . You can set how long it takes for someone to stand in front of it. Before it start to record or take a pic . 5 sec 7sec 10 sec. Read the manual before you do a review and give the public false info on a product you clearly haven’t done your homework on.
He didn't go through how to mount it outside? How secure outside can you mount it? I mean.......can someone simply walk by and steal it? Is it waterproof? The teccy stuff i'm clear about......the practical side of this camera isn't well covered in this video.
It comes with screws to secure it to a wall surface. It also has a small hole at the top of the device where you can secure a screw, preventing people from being able to quickly pull it off the mounting plate. As for water proofing, the version I have of this is rated IP65, so more than adequate for outside use

I think its either a different variation of the same model or a different one altogether. Maybe Chinese have a version without batteries since those types are more common in China

I'm in a foul mood. my damn doorbell is givin me serious grief. it's refusing to play nice and it'e very nearly had the hammer a few times. btw is there any way of making it stop shouting BING BLOODY BONG 3 times loud enough so the entire neighbourhood knows there is someone at my door? coz that's real annoyin too.
@@CoolFoxification I had to get a router extension as it worked fine when I set it up in the lounge but the signal would not carry to the front door. (I live in a 1 bedroom flat so it aint too far from the lounge to the door,) so that was a bad start then TalkTalk charged me 55 pounds for the extension. So 'll let you know if it survives my wrath and hammer. The prognosis is not good. I think it might be time to put it away until tomorrow. ciao Foxman.

It should work with data, it doesnt have a delay and im not sure about the chime situation

I dont think you can. The app I used is in the manual so I would advise that you use that

Maybe you have a defective unit? Try getting a replacement if you're sure you followed all the steps correctly

18650 are 4.2v fully charged, discharging to 3.6v
