when I make homemade chicken potpie, it makes 2. So I freeze one. I freeze enciladas, baked chimichangas, shepherds pie, baked ziti. My husband and I recently became empty nesters since my daughter left for college. I am able to freeze a majority of our meals or leftovers. This last time it really came in handy, because we went glamping in FL for 2 weeks. So we didn't have to fuss with dinners most nights. Just took it out to thaw, went out for the day, then came back to the camper and threw it in the oven. I also made a list of the foods we brought with us, so we could almost decide on a meal plan of sorts. It worked out great. Same idea as your family staying busy and not feeling like cooking at the end of the day.

I struggle with kitchen organizing for small appliances. We have ample cabinets so that’s not a problem. Open counter tops are a goal of mine. No mater what I do, there always seems to be clutter 😱. Yours are always so nice.
I’m a para at a school for disabled kids and start back next Friday. My kids start school August 14th. It will be my oldest baby’s SENIOR year!😩😭 We are prepping for college admissions and luckily took tours last year. I hope your daughter loved her birthday and the kids have a great first day!❤
I did my cleaning and landry yesterday,, so I'm enjoying my coffee watching this morning. I'm waiting for everyone to wake up so I can get bedding washed today. Our first full day of school is August 7th. The summer just flew by!!!! Have a great week Amy!!!

My 11 and 10 year olds start back August 1st. I will be getting their school supplies this weekend. I went through all their clothes and they don’t really need anything. I usually will get them one or two new outfits. My 17 year old does online school. His school doesn’t start until August 15. There’s not to many supplies he needs. Mainly notebooks for taking notes, pens, and make sure his printer has paper and ink. Summer vacation has gone by super quick!! I agree with the stand up freezer. We still have our chest freezer. But we use mainly the stand up freezer. We got the biggest one Home Depot had. My kids prefer it too. You can definitely see what you have and find things easier. We have 6 cats. Never meant to have that many. I adopted a boy and girl cat when they were kittens (from 2 different litters). I took them to a place to get them fixed where it’s cheaper than the animal hospital. They wouldn’t do the surgery on either because they said the cats seemed dehydrated. I had put them in my kids bathroom over night (because they can’t eat after midnight) with 2 bowls of water and a small litter box. And before I could get them in with the animal hospital, the female went into heat and my male got with her. We had no way to keep them separated. While the female was pregnant I did get the male fixed. Once her kittens were weaned and her milk was gone, I got the female fixed. Once the kittens were old enough we got the 2 males fixed. Just recently got one of the females fixed. Will get the other one in soon. The animal hospital is just so expensive. But never had an issue with them. I much prefer in store shopping. I hate having to wait on packages to come in. These days things do seem to ship pretty quick. But you still have to wait. Not that I never do any online shopping. But I prefer in store. I clean more at night than during the day. Our electric company is going up on rates during certain parts of the day. So I do not run the dishwasher, washer or dryer if I don’t have to until later in the evening. Last night I did several loads. So I shouldn’t have to do laundry for a couple of days. Our bill is going to be high enough with the AC running right now.

Freezer meals: homemade vegetable soup. Chili, Spaghetti, I also freeze left over noodles and just warm them up. When I fix Stuffed peppers, I make extra filling and freeze it. I freeze a lot of things.

My best friend (chosen sisters really) is the mother who passed away, as well as her two young babies, in the flood disaster in Buck county PA over the weekend. We’ve been best friends since we were 10 years old and we’re now 33. This has been the most devastating time of my entire life and I ask for all the prayers to get us through this difficult time. ❤❤
My little girl Faith is turning 10 also on July 22nd and we decided to do a Luau party outside with a 20 ft tall waterslide, water balloons, and pool. Praying for no rain that day. I really enjoy watching your videos. They are very motivating.

Hi! Thanks for another great video! I am in NC and my kids start back August 10th. I think due to covid, I prefer to shop online. I am very similar to you in that I will put something in my cart and leave it there till I feel I really need it and then I might buy it. I agree it does curb me spending so much more than I would in a retail store because I don't know exactly what the total will be till check out when in a store. I don't have a preference with cleaning. I can do it morning or evening. As far as laundry goes, I try to do a load almost every day in the morning and before I leave for work, I hope I can get it in the dryer. Then when I come home, I run it in the dryer until I am ready to get it out and then I put it right away. Hope you have a good week! :)

Our local school district switched to an extended school year last year, so we started school TODAY, July 21st! The extended year includes a 2-week break at the end of September, 1 week at Thanksgiving, 3 weeks at Christmas, and 2 weeks for Spring Break. School here will end the 3rd week of May. Summer is a short 7-8 weeks, but we really like all the breaks!
I did a deep clean of our laundry room on Sunday. It needed it so bad. I prefer shopping online. It seems like the stores don’t have the selection that a person can find online. I tend to stick to the same things and don’t branch out too often. Love your videos and appreciate them so much! 🥰
The kids up here in Ontario, Canada go back right after the Labor Day weekend. But then they don't get out until the last week of June except for the college's and Universities.

Can totally relate with the never ending laundry! My boys start back 8/30. We are in CT so we just got out about 4 weeks ago. It does seem like the years just fly by! Hi Amy have a blessed day! I was wondering if you also iron your clothes. Here in India, we don't have a separate washer and dryer. Our washing machines are 2 in 1 and wash and dry (70%) of the clothes. Then we have an added chores of putting all clothes to dry in racks and hangers etc out in breeze and sun light. Ofcourse we iron most of our clothes also as due to the hot weather, we mostly wear cotton clothes which get wrinkled easily. So yeah...we have some additional chores at our homes I guess

If you mean make ahead and freeze freezer meals I'm out but buy from the store freezer meals. InnovAsian general tso's really good. Only use one pack of sauce unless you like really hot stuff. Voila's garlic chicken and zatararains blackened chicken Alfredo.
I'm a teacher and my district is on almost the same schedule as my daughter's. My district wears uniforms but my daughter's dropped the uniform policy last year. I preferred the uniforms. We go back right after Labor Day.

I love you're videos. Here in the netherlands i coock so differend! (We dont have wallmart/cosco etc) With fresh stuff en vegetables. So no easy packages. I make my own spices mixes (without salt) etc. I also want to mske my own bread soon. I clean always in the early morning. Then i have more energy and i have the whole day and evening for other things. Before i go to bed, i always pick everthing up and clean the countertop I also was never a cat person. Till i rescued my Maine coon Panther. He is now 14 years old
I have my baby, who is going into sophomore year, who goes back September 5th. I can’t believe how fast it goes. My 22 year old daughter already graduated college with her Bachelor’s in Nursing and works at Roswell cancer institute!❤
My older niece and my middle niece I think they are going start their back to school on either the 2nd week of August or the 3rd week. My older niece is going to be a second grader and my middle niece will be starting her first they of Kindergarten. That leave my youngest niece as the lone wolf still waiting for her time.

Love your channel! You are so refreshing and positive, I love it. I have a super naive question... Do you ever dry your clothes outside? I live in New Zealand and very few people own dryers, we dry everything outside on clotheslines unless the weather is bad and then we dry them inside in front of the fire or heater. In New Zealand only super wealthy people use dryers regularly because they are so expensive to run, but it seems like the norm in North America ...even in summer when it's crazy hot out and everything would dry so quickly.

My family likes broccoli, sausage and penne pasta. I do it with either a pink sauce or it’s great with seasoning and oil. It freezes well. I’ve also done it with chicken in place of sausage. 🙂

Lately I haven’t been able to do a deep clean. It is way too hot, 110+ degrees, and my daughter is getting into everything p. I can’t let her out of my sight. Hopefully this weekend I can get someone to watch her so I can get the deep cleaning done. My older two start school August 9th. But some schools here in Arizona started this week on the 19th.

Hi! Thanks for another great video! I am in NC and my kids start back August 10th. I think due to covid, I prefer to shop online. I am very similar to you in that I will put something in my cart and leave it there till I feel I really need it and then I might buy it. I agree it does curb me spending so much more than I would in a retail store because I don't know exactly what the total will be till check out when in a store. I don't have a preference with cleaning. I can do it morning or evening. As far as laundry goes, I try to do a load almost every day in the morning and before I leave for work, I hope I can get it in the dryer. Then when I come home, I run it in the dryer until I am ready to get it out and then I put it right away. Hope you have a good week! :)

It just depends on the day. 😂 I clean in the morning and afternoon. 🌸 When you wash whites do you only clean them with white vinegar?

Our local school district switched to an extended school year last year, so we started school TODAY, July 21st! The extended year includes a 2-week break at the end of September, 1 week at Thanksgiving, 3 weeks at Christmas, and 2 weeks for Spring Break. School here will end the 3rd week of May. Summer is a short 7-8 weeks, but we really like all the breaks!

I did a deep clean of our laundry room on Sunday. It needed it so bad. I prefer shopping online. It seems like the stores don’t have the selection that a person can find online. I tend to stick to the same things and don’t branch out too often. Love your videos and appreciate them so much! 🥰
The kids up here in Ontario, Canada go back right after the Labor Day weekend. But then they don't get out until the last week of June except for the college's and Universities.

Can totally relate with the never ending laundry! My boys start back 8/30. We are in CT so we just got out about 4 weeks ago. It does seem like the years just fly by! Hi Amy have a blessed day! I was wondering if you also iron your clothes. Here in India, we don't have a separate washer and dryer. Our washing machines are 2 in 1 and wash and dry (70%) of the clothes. Then we have an added chores of putting all clothes to dry in racks and hangers etc out in breeze and sun light. Ofcourse we iron most of our clothes also as due to the hot weather, we mostly wear cotton clothes which get wrinkled easily. So yeah...we have some additional chores at our homes I guess

Blessings to you and Tyfs you life and cleaning with us❤ depression for me has been a struggle but I pulled an all nighter and started cleaning my bathroom and kitchen. I am tackling the rest of my house this week. Every day I will do a new room and then eventually finish outside of home.
My son is going into 6th grade and he goes back aug 31. My daughter will be in the 10th grade and she goes after Labor Day. I agree summer is going by way to fast!! 😢 great motivation video😊😊
If you mean make ahead and freeze freezer meals I'm out but buy from the store freezer meals. InnovAsian general tso's really good. Only use one pack of sauce unless you like really hot stuff. Voila's garlic chicken and zatararains blackened chicken Alfredo.
I'm a teacher and my district is on almost the same schedule as my daughter's. My district wears uniforms but my daughter's dropped the uniform policy last year. I preferred the uniforms. We go back right after Labor Day.

Before i go to bed, i always pick everthing up and clean the countertop
I also was never a cat person. Till i rescued my Maine coon Panther. He is now 14 years old
I have my baby, who is going into sophomore year, who goes back September 5th. I can’t believe how fast it goes. My 22 year old daughter already graduated college with her Bachelor’s in Nursing and works at Roswell cancer institute!❤

My older niece and my middle niece I think they are going start their back to school on either the 2nd week of August or the 3rd week. My older niece is going to be a second grader and my middle niece will be starting her first they of Kindergarten. That leave my youngest niece as the lone wolf still waiting for her time.

Love your channel! You are so refreshing and positive, I love it. I have a super naive question... Do you ever dry your clothes outside? I live in New Zealand and very few people own dryers, we dry everything outside on clotheslines unless the weather is bad and then we dry them inside in front of the fire or heater. In New Zealand only super wealthy people use dryers regularly because they are so expensive to run, but it seems like the norm in North America ...even in summer when it's crazy hot out and everything would dry so quickly.

My family likes broccoli, sausage and penne pasta. I do it with either a pink sauce or it’s great with seasoning and oil. It freezes well. I’ve also done it with chicken in place of sausage. 🙂

Lately I haven’t been able to do a deep clean. It is way too hot, 110+ degrees, and my daughter is getting into everything p. I can’t let her out of my sight. Hopefully this weekend I can get someone to watch her so I can get the deep cleaning done. My older two start school August 9th. But some schools here in Arizona started this week on the 19th.
