Funny drivers can have a beer or 30 enjoy a foodball game on their off time and be perfectly fine come the start of the work week. It's the same thing with Pot. All those rules are from the stoneage from old hysteria
I’m surprised there isn’t portable dot pee places were you gotta stop on a route and pee for your company or Dot that’s almost were this is headed to catch ppl on road yk
Not true. Talk to a SAP recruiter at CFI and see how they can get you in the door. You must live in a state they hire from or at least get a license from a state they hire from. If you have at least 6-months experience you should be good.
@jaredf3844 I've got 2 years experience. CFI turned me down flat, but she also said she couldn't help me til February. I need to get back to work asap because bills are piling up. I'm about to give up on trucking. I think I've filled out 73 applications so far and everyone of them said no.
Umm let me sum this up and save you about 7 and a half minutes. You can't, it's cost prohibited. The part he doesn't mention is that all those steps you would have to do to become eligible again is at YOUR own expense. The counseling the treatment program the testing all of it. It may cost between 10k to 20k to complete the process. Then there's the question of what type of carrier is going to hire you. So basically it's a ban without being officially called a ban.

Well, what if we want to clear our record and decide not to get back on the truck once the rtd is clear? You still gotta do follow-ups afterwards??
I wonder if most drivers will even make the effort to follow up with this or will they just give up and let their CDL slip away..
We either have a conversation, or we listen to music. Which is it?

@@AssenGsxr Don't give them any ideas.
Nobody will hire me on step #5. They want you to be done for at least 2 years. How do I get to step #6?

It’s not nearly that much but it is ridiculous
They should be prohibited for life in my opinion.
Why?
Hater ….. everyone makes mistakes
I've seen too many drivers that are not on drugs or alcohol but on their phones instead that are the worst of the worst!!!
