- In this episode we take a look at a 100ml creed viking, the packaging isnt too bad but i hope this video helps people to spot points out & not get ripped off by buying one, or if you have bought one on ebay etc it helps you to check if yours is fake or not. please dont buy fakes, its just plain dangerous & not worth the risks
Ya on a real creed viking bottle, there is a tiny bit of space between the "X" of the creed logo and the band that goes around the bottle where light will actually shine through. The bottle you're holding , its all painted together.
My viking batch code says A4221q01 everything seems to be real just my cap doesnt click into place, it only pushes down
I just got a second hand one aswell and all seems legit but kine also has te cap that doesnt click. Anyone has any kdea about this?
Just got one of these today from eBay and mailed it back! Label was bubbled and the lines on the bottle look like they’re printed on rather than embossed and textured.
Did you ever find out if it was real or not? I have a 100ML bottle as well same batch code but I’m skeptical it’s fake cap issue label looks suspect. I know you commented 5 months ago but thank you.
These guys making fake Creed Viking are getting really good, but now that I have an authentic Creed I can tell before even opening the box just by the feel. The Creed Viking box has a slightly rough leather or snake skin type feel and it should feel the same all around the box The fakes do a good job mimicking that, but it does not quite feel the same to me. Real Creed box also comes with a card message from the Creed Boutique even if you did not buy it from them. That information has thank you message for purchase, customer service email, phone number, website, etc. If brand new in box unopened it should be in there.

Gaz O the way the batch codes are displayed on the boxes of fake Creed bottles are exactly the same. You can also find out or guess when the fake bottle was made based on the batch code too. They always fake the earliest batches of Creed bottles each year. For example batch FP9617W01 was one of the early batches of Creed Viking in 2017, so each fake Creed bottle you buy depending on the year should have the same batch code. They literally distribute all the fake Creed bottles out each year with the same batch codes.
It's not smell the same as viking not even a little? Dose it last?
No they are terrible. I'd never recommend fakes

I got one but I knew from the get go that it was a fake but interestingly, it's very close 93-95% I would say but it lasts 24 hours straight and even longer on clothes 🤗
How do you explain that.......
FYI all the fake Creed bottles have the same batch numbers and retail scan codes. They copy the first batches and newest batches, so if you have the 2017 batch of Vikings especially batch number FP9617W01 then it is probably fake.

Gaz O what do you do with the fake bottles you get after you do videos? Just curious becuase some sellers that sell fake bottles either don't accept returns from customers or accept returns from customers, but the customer has to pay the cost to ship it back. To pay to ship it back depending on what country you bought it from is not worth it. For example to ship stuff overseas now in the USA is expensive. For the price you could buy a legitmate Creed fragrance from trusted discount retailers. I am speaking from experience.
I just keep them for reference, if someone asks a question I can just check the bottles I have. It's always good to just have it in your hands.
That makes sense to compare and contrast. I was just wondering because I have a fake Creed Viking tester in a Fedex box was planning to send it back once the placebo effect wore off and I realized it was fake, but the price to ship it back was just not worth it. To be fair the fake tester did smell nice, but it did not spray like a Creed fragrance.
Some of the fake fragrances are just mixing fragrance oils together. You can buy the fragrance oils of the original fragrance online I think and mix them together, but it takes a master perfumer to blend them well to make them smell similar to the original fragrance or better. I heard the company DUA fragrances have been accused of doing this. They charge $50 to $60 bucks for something anybody can do. There are fragrance brands that are difficult to clone exactly becuase they have access to the highest quality ingredients that the clone houses cannot get access to.
yeah you can buy clone oils & sprays which smell way better than the fakes, cheaper too. ive never had dua or alexandria but theres another company thats is similar to those which i have tried & their stuff is rubbish! its no better than what i can pay £15/$20 for lol

Hi buddy, I just bought a bottle of Viking 120ml bottle off of eBay which didn't come with a box but I really think it is a tester or a quality second, but I am a little concerned because when you take the spray cap off inside it is not white and they always say you can tell a fake Creed because it should have a white ring around the nozzle if it's a real one and mine does not it's just metal, whether or not that means it's fake I'm not 100% sure. The person selling it did have a 100% rating and other comments and other people that have bought from him have been quite satisfied which made me convinced that it is a real one

Viking didn't come in 120ml bottles I don't think, I'm sure they were the 1st to have the 100ml bottles
@@GazO82 they did release viking in 120ml bottles but only as testers . Everything checks out ok , I just a bit concerned about the key point is when I always buy a Creed the first thing I do is check to see if it has the white ring around the nozzle. This one does not. So stuck between a rock and a hard place really!
I'd personally be concerned, I have been seeing 120ml fakes of Viking recently. Look at the quality of the glass, it should be flawless tester or not, check the scent itself make sure it's what it should be, check those points on it also :)

Yes the weight of the cap is much more lighter than on a original and the inside under the sprayer must be all white. I have side by side pictures from an original and a fake Creed Aventus - I hate to admit but they are getting better and better with faking the originals 😑
Yeah it's pretty scary, I always look at the clarity of the glass, I always find the fakes lack in that area

I like the original but I think it's overpriced, I've had some good clones though! Yeah the cap weighs next to nothing! Yeah the juice is a weird colour, it doesn't smell bad but tbh it's not anywhere near the original
It's a worry because there are now 50ml & 100ml creeds flooding the market, I just hope this video saves people from getting conned
There are fake testers of Creed Viking on eBay too coming from countries like Russia. I bought one. Should have known. They have it in a 120ml bottle and Creed does not make 120ml bottles anymore, but they still have the old 120ml for all the other Creed bottles. They will still be avaliable online and at discounts until they are all sold out, but at retail it is hard to find 120ml bottles now becuase Creed is discounting them.
