80%+ of type 2 diabetes can be reversed though diet. When I got diagnosed my blood sugar was almost 500! Today my A1C is 4.9 and no more meds! I eat low carb or Keto. No bread, no pasta, no potatoes, no sweets, no sweet fruits! Do eat lots of eggs, meats, fish, and veggies, yogurt, and low sugar fruits like peppers, cucumbers, avacado, and blueberries. Also avoid veggie oil and seed oils. Olive oil, coconut oil, and butter are much better options then veggie oils. If you don't take any sugar , you don't need all these drugs (insulin, metformin, ect). I also Skip 1 meal a day breakfast, and try to exercise 10 mins+ after each meal if possible.

definately, Even in diabetic patients, hypoglycemia is a problem they have to look out for. And proper use of medication in combination with adequate diet and constant monitoring of sugar levels is done to prevent, or at best, reduce the risk of hypoglycemia. Well, I would not take Metformin, unless you got type 2 or Pre-Diabetes. Or you are doing HGH or raising the IGF-1 levels somehow? If you want to lower the glucose levels while not having any problems as of such with them? then use Berberine 1000 mg per day. Morning and Evening. Health product. It will lower them with 20% after a few months. Meaning that 7 score can go down on 5.6 lets say. Metformin is mostly if you have diabetes or take growth hormone that elevates insulin resistance. I take 2 x 400 mg Berberine a day-Day and Evening. I also take 600 -1200 mg FenuGreek Seed. I have fine levels for the crazy life Ive led as musician rock star with drugs and women. Try that before Metformin? Or tell me what the aim is? You properly want to lower it to be on the safe side like me? and think if its durable? I understand. I am a bit nuts also. Take Berberine 800 mg supplement before meals, it will lower 20% and Fenugreek seed 2000 mg will lower around 14 %. Its not abnormal to have those levels for bodybuilders and others who eat. But do cardio until you sweat alot and hunger yourself here and there. Water like suggested. Cut Soda. You get more energy. Both veggies and lean meat or salmon is good to eat without too many carbs. Though fruits can raise sugar levels sometimes.
@@jessiejuatas928 At 5.3, your wife's average blood sugar level is less than 117, which is very good, and she probably does not have diabetes. However, AIC is just one way of determining if a person has diabetes, and using an average blood sugar level has its limitations. Another way to measure diabetes is to test how a person's glucose levels respond after they eat. For that, you need a glucose tolerance test (GTT), which is a better and more accurate way to test for diabetes and prediabetes. I don't know if this channel allows people to post links, but you can do a google search if you want to learn more about glucose tolerance tests and how they work.
@@Cloudancer2024 You mean OGTT? I saw this reading: In a study involving more than 11,000 people with no history of diabetes, the hemoglobin A1c test more accurately identified people who later developed diabetes than the glucose fasting test, which measures blood sugar levels at one point in time. But then again the OGTT test gives good results its shown also? hmm. Would you need a OGTT test if the fasting blood sugar is 5.9 and A1C is 3.5? Properly not. But then again what do I know... Interesting you bring it up.
I am using Abbott's FreeStyle Libre with Ambrosia's blucon and can get my glucose readings on my apple watch even without the phone. I can share readings with upto 5 people in almost real-time. Can get alarms and my loved one can also get an alarm if my glucose is out of range.
I bought the device through Ambrosia, It is far better than Miao Miao. It works a lot better, I can share my data with my doctor, able to get alerts when readings are low.
My a1c level was a 6.5 back in January. My doctor told me i had alot of sugar in my urine but never told me i have diabetes. My vitamin d is low or i might have an iron defiancy. I was prescribed a vitamin d-2 ergocal pills in the past. I do have a small internal tremor. I went to the same doctor today and now tells me i have diabetes. No blood was today on Friday July 2. He went by the January results. I am confused
If you have a lot of sugar in your urine, you probably have diabetes, and your doctor should have done further testing at that time. Did your doctor tell you your January blood test results? If not, ask for a copy of the lab results. I would also ask for another A1c test and glucose level because they may have changed in the last 6 months, particularly since an A1c of 6.5 is right on the border of diabetes and prediabetes. I would NOT immediately start taking medication. You may be able to manage your diabetes naturally with a low-carb diet, exercise, and intermittent fasting. I do. My fasting blood sugar (FBS) went from ~300 to ~140. My A1c test from 3 weeks ago was 6.3, which is good for a diabetic. I agree with the recommendation to buy a glucometer, lancets, and test strips and test your blood yourself. You can get them at Walmart pretty cheaply. Test your FBS first thing in the morning, and keep track of the results. You can also test your blood an hour or two after meals to help you determine which foods cause blood sugar spikes, and adjust your diet accordingly. I also suggest watching videos of Dr. Jason Fung and Dr. Sten Ekberg. They offer a lot of good information about managing diabetes naturally. Good luck to you.
I'm a diabetic and African American. My A1C is always high not matter what I do. I'm in need of bilateral hi replacement and can't get no one to touch me. I may as well use drugs for the pain and deal with it. Sad and mad I can't get the numbers they need. They say diet that goes work alone. Can't workout if you got hip pain all the time plus I need bilateral shoulder replacement they shot also. I just done. I never smoke in my life but recreational drugs seems my only choice now. I'm fully retired have not had to work in ,8 years before I get some smart answers.
@Joshua Jo are you on a low carb diet? I am not diabetic, but went keto (with fasting, per Dr Jason Fung) 3 years ago for weight loss. The unexpected perk was all aches and pains went away. Zero inflammation. Terrible hip pain returns if I falter and eat processed foods like pizza or sugary baked goods. A good 2 day fast will put me right, again. Clean up your diet and you will see change. Eliminate grains and cereals. Eat only clean fresh meats, eggs, and dairy (no sugar added). And only low starch veggies like salad greens, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. Ferments, like pickles and sauerkraut. No sugary fruits. Some berries sprinkled on your plain, no sugar yogurt. You will be dancing a happy dance in a month. Best wishes in your journey!💞
@Lisa Marie how old are you and how much do you weigh? those are factors as well no? Or is it all related to diet and exercise when you develop diabetes? if 5.7 and under it is non diabetic range. 5.7 - 6.4 is pre diabetic and over 6.4 is diabetic so you at 5.7 is just border line non and pre diabetic and at 6 is definitely pre diabetic.
I suggest asking your doctor to order a glucose tolerance test (GTT), also called an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT). It's a better measure of whether you have diabetes. With the GTT, you fast for at least 8 hours, then have blood drawn. You then drink a sugary solution and get your blood tested again, usually at one, two, and 3 hours later. You must stay in the testing area the whole time. Most insurances cover the GTT, particularly in a case such as yours where your A1C is normal, but your glucose indicates diabetes.

Thanks alot
how old are you? how much do you weigh and how tall are you?

Is this a fasting test?
No fasting required.
My wife is 5.3 in result of her hba1c is that good?
They said anything below 5.7 is good.
5.3 is excellent.
@@Cloudancer2024 really so no diabetes at all?
Now I have better understanding about A1C
you explained the shit outta A1C yo
MySugar A1C is 6.2
If you are deficient in iron, reading is more visible
What would be my correct reading, instead of 6.2 ?
Is there any formula?
No, in your case the A1C number is not reliable at all. You will need to do other tests: fasting glucose, glucose tolerance...
My last a1c reading was 5.7%. I wonder how long it was this high and how much it contributes to my peripheral neuropathy.
5.7% is 'excellent" unless you have unreliable A1c as the above video highlights
You want to be a diabetic, welcome.
Get a stationary bike and ride it for a half hour twice a day. Ride it so you sweat. Diabetes in my family but at 75 my A1C is 5.2.
very good
I’m 33 and I been losing weight like 15 pounds a month mine went from 5 to 7 😒 and I do a lot of fasting and love the gym
I reversed my diabetic within one year time.
Thank u
My a1c level was a 6.5 back in January. My doctor told me i had alot of sugar in my urine but never told me i have diabetes. My vitamin d is low or i might have an iron defiancy. I was prescribed a vitamin d-2 ergocal pills in the past. I do have a small internal tremor. I went to the same doctor today and now tells me i have diabetes. No blood was today on Friday July 2. He went by the January results. I am confused
Buy a glucometre and test yourself
Geesh! Get a different Dr!😌
it is helpful
You should just be more accurate, and say weather we have to much sugar in our blood or not
I'm a diabetic and African American.
I currently have an A1C of 12.9% 😞
I am diabetic my A1C is 6.3. then I'm prediabetic??
@Lisa Marie how old are you and how much do you weigh? those are factors as well no? Or is it all related to diet and exercise when you develop diabetes? if 5.7 and under it is non diabetic range. 5.7 - 6.4 is pre diabetic and over 6.4 is diabetic so you at 5.7 is just border line non and pre diabetic and at 6 is definitely pre diabetic.
So the A1C test is about as accurate as the PCR test.
This means nothing in Canada
I think my throid is causing a lot of problems
In certain cases with diet change and change of lifestyle you can reverse this
Ask your doctors about keto
Mine is 9.4
I had a A1C yesterday on December 8th and I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes
👍👍👍
My 7.4
I have A1C level 6.2%
My fasting is 239 but A1c is 5.5 what happens? I'm diabetic?
This is unusual numbers
I suggest asking your doctor to order a glucose tolerance test (GTT), also called an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT). It's a better measure of whether you have diabetes.
With the GTT, you fast for at least 8 hours, then have blood drawn. You then drink a sugary solution and get your blood tested again, usually at one, two, and 3 hours later. You must stay in the testing area the whole time.
Most insurances cover the GTT, particularly in a case such as yours where your A1C is normal, but your glucose indicates diabetes.

A1C how clever ! The 11 and The 3 to make the 14 books. Yep 2 snakes run the medicine show
