re the body? Easy. Put some walls around and a glass floor tile and a small, tasteful plaque - a talking point for when the neighbours pop around for a cuppa tea 😁
Two really good foods to have that are easy to make: Fruit Muffin - Strawberries, Watermelon, Bread Dough cooked on the stove has other benefits but gives you a 35% XP boost and Honey Smoked Bacon - Honey and Bacon in the smoker, has all the benefits of crispy bacon, but increases the buff effect time of all food buffs. Smoker food also has a longer decay timer by default, and then can be salted as well giving it a HUGE spoil timer. Third one I do is a little more complicated, Shepherds Roll - Pastry, Meat, Kumara, Carrot on the stove. Lots of buffs but also more XP. Between those three you get around a 50-60% XP buff and your food buff lasts 23 minutes. Also, add paintings, sculptures, furniture, more fireplaces, rugs, aquariums anything that has a coziness rating around your bed area. The higher your coziness the bigger the buff and the longer it lasts for your sleep buff, for a very small resource investment. At about 200% buff it lasts all day until you need to sleep again.
I think one has to keep in mind how this game started. Persistent open World was not on the menu. The game loop was starting a mission from orbit, land on the planet, get the mission done and extract. Rinse and repeat. A higly requested playable open world came much later after release. Since then they are improving and adding on to it. That's why some missions feel realy weird as the game was never intended to be played like we do now.
Makes things a bit easier on a Solo player as well. That mission timer used to keep on ticking *even* while you were logged off Really had to dedicate a serious chunk of time or have a good group back then. Bathroom break? Long as you were okay with probably doing a corpse run on your return 🤣💀
Don't cut all the grind, sometimes watching playthroughs is to escape and also to experience the game in all its facets. My play isn't the same as anyone else's, My prep work isn't the same as anyone else. Like turning around and finding an Ignari snuck up on you. Stiill loving the series though. Thums up!
There is a special tree in the lava biome you're in that allows you to harvest red exotics. You'll need a special extractor for it from the blueprint unlocks. Well worth it, hope you find it! It randomly spawns when your map generates at the beginning of the playthrough
For whatever it's worth, I would definitely watch videos that were mainly resource gathering/construction/etc. I can see where it may be a poor return on investment on your side though, considering the time spent on recording/editing/uploading, if they get lower engagement
As for the grinding resources; I love the montages. But I also don’t mind the “I went and got resources” For building. I like to see the thought process, and -some- of the building. It’s all interesting. Some of it is only -so- interesting, but most of it is stuff I will continue to happily watch. 😊

Cutting out the whole "building, collecting resources, and crafting" stuff sucks because it's what a lot of us are into, though. Some of us watch these videos to get an idea of things to do in our own bases, equipment to unlock that we otherwise wouldn't have because we either (1) didn't know what it did, or (2) didn't realize how useful it was, or (3) just mistakenly skipped over it all together. The entire experience that you're cutting out alienates a lot of us who are into that kind of stuff. I don't want to see you smash rocks for an hour straight, but I'd also like to see the building aspect. It gives me great ideas on how to setup my bases and with what materials, etc.
Obviously this guy is a new subscriber…..plenty of other content creators that do all the things you require, maybe best to go watch those content creators instead. That way ya don’t bring ya selfish requests here…..so go away please!

I had to laugh about this discussion. People get offended way to quickly. Btw, I love your setup with the captains log, the end-breakdown and the good content in the middle. I fully agree with Temreki, not to show how he put the floor back in 🙂. you are my favourite Icarus Content Creator......please proceed.
Wow, they still haven't fixed half block snapping. I remember requesting that to resounding agreement a LONG time ago. I wonder if you also can still not snap panels to half wall blocks as well? But yeah, I think you might want to consider doing something so you can relocate your solar panels to the roof, or even build a tower so you can mount them higher up so you can catch the sun sooner in the day. It's also a good idea to consider building wind turbines, since unless they changed how those work, they're always active and though they generate less energy per turbine than the solar panels, will run during the night as well, which would allow you to properly light your base at night at the least, and with enough of them would make it so you never have to worry about power again, depending on how many you get going.
I started it because of GNS videos. It is a fun game but grindy. Start with an open world on basic version before you buy the DLCs to see if you like it.
I did this mission a long time ago and the Ashen Drake really made this mission miserable. They were so scarce and it seemed to take an eternity to get them all. I've read that they've buffed the spawn amounts of the Ashen Drake since then but from your video it seems they are still a bit scare. There are certain areas down there that seem to spawn more of them though.
Find an area where there are ashen drake, then set up a scanner on a big rock. It works. You just need to be in an area where you find your target animal.
Heya Guns, would the bridge roof make a great spot for the panels? Plus you can go both sides for full exposure just looking at the angle your on with the sun. Just a thought.. great work regardless!
Do a building montage!!! You know how you do the mining montage in 7Days? Do it like that, where you drop the deployable to the beat! Then we have more content, and we can see the base build! And if something interesting happens, then we get to see that too. But don't overdo it, or stress over it.
You do, but you still have to level to get them, so he is taking the blueprints he needs first, and hanging on to a few points to make sure he has some in case a mission or thing he is doing needs something he hasn't researched yet. His character is still level 47ish so he has a ways to go and is still selecting needed blueprints.
Hey Tem. Out of curiosity (because I love the series) do you have plans for the series? I imagine they changed with the release of the null sector expansion(?)
"I'm doing just fine" - a guy who definitely hasn't died a few times this playthrough

Maybe he was trying to spy on me 🤔

Already watched the whole video and it’s definitely a amazing clasic
always enjoy the videos, very interesting!! doing great!!

Having a body under the house like a serial killer is in the Halloween spirit.
Edit: Temcam is racking up the kill count.
man living on smaller island with a larger one right behind him that generally has a red exotic plant spawn on it XD
Honestly surprised you haven't already set up forward operating bases.
You could make a attached house for daisy so she can have roof over her head

You mist a hidden loot box at the base on ur first mission it was inside the encrypted satellite
Always a good time!

I've done that like 5 times this series already lol

There's no way to pit solar panels on the roof?😮
So for the story, how did the real killer get the body under your house?
Why did you not take a look in the shack? Find a bed and sleep through the night! Or could you not see anything?

Definitelly do, 170€ is no small price
