@@toussaintsmith4325 quote---And who was THIS sabbath for?.. unquote ALL MANKIND!!! Mark 2:27-28 These verses contain a number of things critical to Sabbath keeping: Jesus refers to the Sabbath as a specific day; it is the Sabbath, not a Sabbath. The Sabbath was not made for its own sake as were the other six days, but as a service to mankind. An alternate translation would be that it "was made on account of man." Jesus presents it as the Creator's specific and thoughtful gift to man. It was not made just for the Jews, but for mankind. When God created the Sabbath, He intended it from the beginning as a UNIVERSAL blessing to benefit mankind. He made it to help ensure man's physical and spiritual well-being. The broader context reveals a disagreement over how to keep it. Jesus claims to be its Lord, its Owner or Master, and He thus lays claim to His right to show by His example and verbal instruction how to keep it, not whether to keep it. Since He expresses no disagreement with keeping it, He implies that He expects man-not just Jews-to keep it. He has a perfect opportunity here to reply that it does not matter if men keep it, but He gives no such indication. John W. Do whatever chores and such as the day goes by, make some time in between to connect or communicate with the Heavenly Father, then read the Bible and pray Sunday night and wake up Monday repeat morning devotions and so on till Friday. Prayer meetings and other activities are taken place during the weekdays/nights. There's no do as you please till Sabbath and there's no working on the Sabbath, no milking the cow and gathering stick as Gino mentioned in his speeches. There are folks who don't even check their messages on Sabbath. Here's one better for you, some people don't even have sex during Sabbath hours (24 hours from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown = Sabbath). @@air8teen1 The two greatest commandments are simply a summation of the Ten. Love for God covers the first four (which tell you how to love God) and love for your neighbor is covered in the last six (which detail how to love your neighbor). This is the precise reason Jesus says ALL the Law hang on these two commandments, because that’s exactly what the Law says to do (love God and love your neighbor).
As THE claims of the Sabbath are presented, this question is frequently raised: "If the seventh-day Sabbath, which the Jews kept, is of so much consequence in the gospel age, why is the New Testament so nearly silent upon the question, while the Old Testament abounds with numerous references to that institution ?" The apparent sincerity with which the question is raised, together with the fact that it is often indulged in by the min- istry, carries with it, to the minds of many, all the weight of a scriptural argument. No matter if the Sabbath was made at creation, before the fall, before the ceremonial system was introduced, thousands of years before a Jew existed, yet they say that it is purely Jewish, and that when the typical system ended, the seventh-day Sabbath also ceased. If not, why this profound silence of the New Testament upon the subject ? Let us carefully examine this pretended argument. 1. The New Testament emphatically enjoins the observance of the law of ten commandments as a whole, a part of which is the Sabbath commandment, which points out the day that man should observe. Paul in speaking of this law declares it is holy, just, and good (Rom. 7 : 12) ; that it is spiritual (verse 14) ; that it is the instrument which proves the guilt of the whole world (Rom. 3 : 19) ; and finally, that by it all will be judged. Rom. 2 : 12, 16. James calls it the law of liberty (Jas. 2 : 12) ; he further adds that he who offends in one point is guilty of all. Verse 10. Our divine Lord, he to whom the Sab- bath belongs (Mark 2 : 28), declared that not a jot or tittle of that law should pass away while heaven and earth re- main. Matt. 5 : 17, 18. 2. The Saviour came to earth not as a lawgiver, but as a teacher. He was to magnify his Father's law and make it honorable. Isa. 42:21. Neither were the disciples nor apostles legislators for the Christian church, as some would have us believe. One of them who had walked and talked with our Saviour declared : " There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy ' (Jas. 4 :12); and the prophet Isaiah tells us who this one lawgiver is : " For the Lord is our judge; the Lord is our lawgiver [margin, statute-maker]." Isa. 33 : 22. 3. From the foregoing, the logical conclusion follows that if the New Testament did not mention the seventh-day Sabbath once, this 'would not prove that it is not now binding. Such proof must rest upon the record of its abrogation; but in the absence of any such record, we are compelled to believe that the original Sabbath is still obligatory upon the race for whom it was made. Mark 2 : 27. Hence, if we should concede that the Old Testament abounds in references to the Sabbath, while, as it is claimed, the New rarely speaks of it, this would in no wise militate against the seventh-day Sabbath; but we will not admit even this. Taking into account the comparative size of the two Testaments, the following facts warrant the assertion that the New Testament speaks of the seventh-day Sabbath more than twice as often as does the Old. A little mathematical calculation will show the truthfulness of this. The weekly Sabbath is mentioned in the Old Testament seventy-five times. The Old Testament refers to the weekly Sabbath on an average of once in every ten pages. The New Testament mentions the weekly Sabbath fifty-nine times. The weekly Sabbath occurs in the New Testament on an average of once in every four pages, or two and a half times more frequently than it is found in the Old Testament. The apostle Luke alone, in his two little volumes of sixty-one pages, covering a period of only about sixty years, speaks of the weekly Sabbath twenty-seven times ; while Moses, in his five books of one hundred and ninety pages, which cover a period of over two hundred years, speaks of it only twenty-eight times. The Old Testament covers a period of more than three thousand years, while the New covers less than one hundred years. A plain command of God once stated, demands obedience as verily as though it were rehearsed on every page of the book of God. Why the profound-not silence but- ignorance on the part of those who talk about the New Testament being " profoundly silent " on the Sabbath question, when it refers to the day of God's rest two and one-half times oftener than the Old Testament does, and seven times oftener than its own pages refer to the first day of the week ? The Savior kept the Sabbath. He styled himself its Lord (Mark 2 : 28), and he recognized its obligation as late as the destruction of Jerusalem. Matt. 24 : 20. The followers of Christ observed the Sabbath this side of the cross. Luke 23 : 54-56. The typical or shadowy sabbaths were abolished at the cross, but the weekly Sabbath was observed this side of that point, consequently it survived the pass- ing away of the typical system. Profound silence? No! profound ignorance! profound blindness! is manifested by those who talk of the silence of the New Testament upon the Sabbath question. D. A. ROBINSON.
Absolutely, the Sabbath was here before anyone, if that’s the case it was here before the Jew’s. The Sabbath was for humankind not just for the Jews. Good point

Gino Jennings is not as confused about the Sabbath as he would like to believe. Its very clear that he wants to hang onto Sunday worship because he likes it, and thats all.
Sunday according to the Jews The feast of trumpet... The harvest First fruit The spiritual significance is that Jesus Christ is the First Fruit to rise from death... So gentiles celebrate the resurrection.
So you watched the whole video and still fail to see that the Adventist doctrine is cult and its false and worshipping on Saturday won't get you a place in heaven
Gino you need to repent and teach the truth, you will give an account to God one day for the thousands you have deceived smh...empty vessels make the most noise...you are just make moise but your preaching is shallow because your foundation is sand...according to you: you is a liar! unfortunately some of your followers are not studying for themselves...I was brought up in a Sunday church but I studied for myself and discovered the Sabbath truth if you do not want to keep God's Sabbath don't mislead people...I challenge you to give one Bible text in either Old or New Testament where there is any command given by God to keep the first day of the week, also give one text saying that the 7th day Sabbath is abolished by God.?
I lose all respect for Gino. Poor thing he is trying hard to legitimise sunday as the day of worship. Exodus 20: 1-8, remember the Sabbath to keep it holy. Why did he say, remember because God set it aside as his day for Worship not to do anything. The Lord said anyone who add or subtract and teach men so, i God will add and subtract from you. Gino, get off Adventists back. Shame on you
You read Genesis 2 verse 1 and 2. Can you explain Genesis 2 verse 3. At the end of each day of creation, God said it was good. On the sixth day, He said it was very good. However, you and TD Jake's and most preachers forget or ignore what happened on the 7th day of creation. God is to be worshipped every day. But there is only one day he blessed and made sacred. Am I right? According to the Bible. And there were no Jews at creation. Am I right?
You are right again! Individuals in the 7th Day Adventist worship at your church, too. At least one was there when this sermon was recorded. Jesus had 12 disciples, and all denied him. And all died as Jews. Yet they followed Jesus as it was his custom to be found in the synagouge on THE Sabbath Day. AM I RIGHT?

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. When Moses came the law was given to Israel by him saying to the people that they should obey the law but they did not. John 7:19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?. Galatians 3:10 For as many as are the works of the law are under the curse v13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law being made a curse for us. When John the baptist come, All the law and the Prophets were until John Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John , his preaching is the baptism of repentance saying to the people that they should believe in Jesus Christ. When Jesus Christ came the law ENDS, Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth. Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you for you are NOT UNDER THE LAW , but UNDER GRACE so to summarize Moses give the law, the law was until John, Jesus Christ ends the law so we are not under the law anymore but under grace
You’ve misunderstood scripture. Grace does not replace the Law, it replaced the penalty of the Law (death). The Bible is clear that sin is not imputed where there is no law. If the Law has been abolished, then what are you repenting for? You can’t repent for sin if there is no Law because sin is the transgression of the Law. Each and every verse you quoted has context that does not contradict the rest of the Bible. God’s moral law is eternal as it is a transcript of his character.
The truth is some of our churches attend service Sunday, Sunday Night, Tues, and Saturday nights. Why? Because we love the Lord and sacrifice to assemble ourselves multiple times per week One day wont get it and when we are home we pray and study and worship him. Every single day.
The Sabbath was hallowed at the creation. As ordained for man, it had its origin when "the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy." Job 38:7. Peace brooded over the world; for earth was in harmony with heaven. "God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good;" and He rested in the joy of His completed work. Gen. 1:31. Because He had rested upon the Sabbath, "God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it,"--set it apart to a holy use. He gave it to Adam as a day of rest. It was a memorial of the work of creation, and thus a sign of God's power and His love. The Scripture says, "He hath made His wonderful works to be remembered." "The things that are made," declare "the invisible things of Him since the creation of the world," "even His everlasting power and divinity." Gen. 2:3; Ps. 111:4; Rom. 1:20, R. V. All things were created by the Son of God. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. . . . All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made." John 1:1-3. And since the Sabbath is a memorial of the work of creation, it is a token of the love and power of Christ. The Sabbath calls our thoughts to nature, and brings us into communion with the Creator. In the song of the bird, the sighing of the trees, and the music of the sea, we still may hear His voice who talked with Adam in Eden in the cool of the day. And as we behold His power in nature we find comfort, for the word that created all things is that which speaks life to the soul. He "who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Cor. 4:6. . . . The Sabbath was embodied in the law given from Sinai; but it was not then first made known as a day of rest. The people of Israel had a knowledge of it before they came to Sinai. On the way thither the Sabbath was kept. When some profaned it, the Lord reproved them, saying, "How long refuse ye to keep My commandments and My laws?" Ex. 16:28. The Sabbath was not for Israel merely, but for the world. It had been made known to man in Eden, and, like the other precepts of the Decalogue, it is of imperishable obligation. Of that law of which the fourth commandment forms a part, Christ declares, "Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in nowise pass from the law." So long as the heavens and the earth endure, the Sabbath will continue as a sign of the Creator's power. And when Eden shall bloom on earth again, God's holy rest day will be honored by all beneath the sun. "From one Sabbath to another" the inhabitants of the glorified new earth shall go up "to worship before Me, saith the Lord." Matt. 5:18; Isa. 66:23. . . . "Wherefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath." These words are full of instruction and comfort. Because the Sabbath was made for man, it is the Lord's day. It belongs to Christ. For "all things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made." John 1:3. Since He made all things, He made the Sabbath. By Him it was set apart as a memorial of the work of creation. It points to Him as both the Creator and the Sanctifier. It declares that He who created all things in heaven and in earth, and by whom all things hold together, is the head of the church, and that by His power we are reconciled to God. For, speaking of Israel, He said, "I gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them,"--make them holy. Ezek. 20:12. Then the Sabbath is a sign of Christ's power to make us holy. And it is given to all whom Christ makes holy. As a sign of His sanctifying power, the Sabbath is given to all who through Christ become a part of the Israel of God. And the Lord says, "If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on My holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honorable; . . . then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord." Isa. 58:13, 14. To all who receive the Sabbath as a sign of Christ's creative and redeeming power, it will be a delight. Seeing Christ in it, they delight themselves in Him. The Sabbath points them to the works of creation as an evidence of His mighty power in redemption. While it calls to mind the lost peace of Eden, it tells of peace restored through the Saviour. And every object in nature repeats His invitation, "Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest." Matt 11:28. Published in The Desire of Ages, pp. 281-289.

"Modern Christians who talk of keeping Sunday as a 'holy' day, as in the still extant 'Blue Laws,' of colonial America, should know that as a 'holy' day of rest and cessation from labor and amusements Sunday was unknown to Jesus. .It formed no tenant [teaching] of the primitive Church and became 'sacred' only in the course of time. Outside the church its observance was legalized for the Roman Empire through a series of decrees starting with the famous one of Constantine in 321, an edict due to his political and social ideas." -w. w. "It would be an error to attribute ['the sanctification of Sunday'] to a definite decision of the Apostles. There is no such decision mentioned the Apostolic documents [that is, the New Testament]." -Antoine Villien, A History of the Commandments of the Church, 1915, p. 23.
Pastor went into a different sabbath from the one that began at the end of creation. The SDA has never stated that man can’t worship God on any other day but the seventh. What the SDA say is remember The Sabbath Day not days and keep it holy from the finger of God. Pastor has taken his focus off what the Ten Commandments mandates but he went off to other sabbaths that are in the Bible. If God wanted us to remember every day to keep it holy He would’ve said so at the end of creation to remember every to keep it holy in it thou shall not do any work etc etc no work would get done God is all knowing that He signifies certain times and things as He pleases. When Jesus came He which is the Lord of the sabbath fulfilled how the Ten Commandments 7th is to be observed. Also there was a mosaic law and the Ten Commandments law are not the same or the law that we are not under now because we are under the grace of Jesus.
Sabbath is so simple yes it is a commandment but when Jesus came he was your Sabbath what is hard to understand about that? If you follow the Sabbath then you must follow every commandment can you do that? We live by grace not the law .
Yes we can follow the commandments... But still nobody is perfect we all sin... That is God's grace... That although you are a sinner through Yahushua (Jesus) your can be washed clean of your sins.... But to deny his word and commandments all together is to deny God. You are under the law but judged with grace and love... Not like what the Pharisees were doing at the time Jesus walked the earth and using the law to condemn. Their hearts were evil. The law is simple LOVE GOD, LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR, LOVE YOURSELF, AND KEEP THE SABBATH. oh you have love in your heart you have God in your heart because God is love. By doing this you will keep all the commandments.
When church Leaders and preachers walks away from Gods Law and His word. He /She become a false Prophet. No one can make up their own idea and walk away with it and teach their teaching. Jesus said I am the way, there is no two ways. God identity on this earth is His Sabbath. No one can argue about it, when one does Satan the devil is involved.
We are to keep the Sabbath forever and he knows this but argues against it as the old testament. Here is proof that we are only to do what is righteous on the Sabbath. Luke 6:6-11 On another Sabbath He entered the synagogue and was teaching; and there was a man there whose right hand was withered. The scribes and the Pharisees were watching Him closely to see if He healed on the Sabbath, so that they might find reason to accuse Him. But He knew what they were thinking, and He said to the man with the withered hand, “Get up and come forward!” And he got up and came Also God says that his word never changes and that he does not change his mind, 1 Samuel 15:29 Also the Glory of Israel will not lie or change His mind; for He is not a man that He should change His mind.” Exodus 31:16 ESV Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever. As you can see, we are to keep the Sabbath forever
That rest that is referred to in Genesis 2 is like when a lawyer said I rest my case, GOD continues to provide evidence that truth is on HIS side as the whole devil in heaven started a great controversy that truth is not on GOD' side hence this world was created and the first such evidence was the creation week, and each week thereafter when the day is observed is indicating that truth is on GOD side, as time went by more meanings were added, liberation from Egypt, the Passion week, and a sabbath like rest to come in Hebrew 4 etc

It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed” (Exodus 31:13, Exodus 31:16-17). And who was THIS sabbath for?🤔
@@toussaintsmith4325 quote---And who was THIS sabbath for?.. unquote
ALL MANKIND!!!
Mark 2:27-28
These verses contain a number of things critical to Sabbath keeping:
Jesus refers to the Sabbath as a specific day; it is the Sabbath, not a Sabbath.

The Greek words translated "the man" in this scripture are ὁ ἄνθρωπος (Gtr. ho anthropos) - Nominative case, and τὸν ἄνθρωπον (Gtr. ton anthropon) - accusative case.

There are many people who believe that because the Old Covenant and the Ten Commandments were given through Moses, that it was never created for Gentiles, and no Gentile should keep it. "As the Sabbath is of divine institution, so it is to be kept holy unto the Lord. Numerous have been the days appointed by men for religious services; but these are not binding, because of human institution. Not so the Sabbath. Hence the fourth commandment is ushered in with a peculiar emphasis-' Remember that thou keep holy the sabbath day.' ...The abolition of it would be unreasonable." -CHARLES BUCK, " A Theological Dictionary," r83O Edition, page 537.

On the basis that Messiah told us to keep the Father's Commandments if we are to enter into eternal life -Matt, 19:17, Luke 10:28. He says, "the Word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day" (Jn. 12:48). For this same reason, Paul says to keep the Commandment "without spot, blameless" (1 Tim. 6:13-14)
I wonder if Gino Jennings or his people read some of these comments (that he may understand a bit more). Strangely enough, there are people who believe that 7th Day Adventists hibernates 24/6 then appears on the Sabbath to worship. My own brother thinks that they do as they please from Sunday to Friday, then play church on Sabbath. Gino's comments also stated likewise. Here's the news flash: they close the Sabbath at sundown with singing, scriptures, and prayers, when its bedtime: say their prayers Saturday night and go to sleep, wake up Sunday morning and have their personal devotion, then have devotion with their family. When I was a child going to Sunday School we sang: "Read your Bible, Pray everyday and you grow, grow, grow". Is Gino trying to say that they don't teach that song in Sabbath School?

Mark 10:19..Jesus doesn't mention the Sabbath
@@air8teen1Jesus didn’t mention the first four commandments. Is it your position that all four are done away with simply because he did not mention them in that verse? Understand that in verse 21 when Jesus tells him to follow, within the “following” of Christ is keeping those first four, just as Jesus did.
@@seekingthelostministries6387 Jesus cleared those first four commandments up when he mention the two greatest commandments in Matthew 22 37-39
Mark 2:27-28
[27] And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: [28] therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
No matter if the Sabbath was made at creation, before the fall, before
the ceremonial system was introduced, thousands of years before a Jew existed, yet they say that it is purely Jewish, and that when the typical system ended, the seventh-day Sabbath also ceased.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you for you are NOT UNDER THE LAW , but UNDER GRACE so to summarize Moses give the law, the law was until John, Jesus Christ ends the law so we are not under the law anymore but under grace
new testament brought through the blood of Jesus Christ very well quoted....thank you Jesus Christ
Why? Because we love the Lord and sacrifice to assemble ourselves multiple times per week
One day wont get it and when we are home we pray and study and worship him. Every single day.
The Sabbath is set apart for holiness and rest. Jesus was in the synagogue on sabbath. He is our example.

This man is obviously confused. God asked us to Remember the Sabbath day to keep it Holy!
Only COMMANDMENT that says REMEMBER!! 😔 All the SUNday worshipers would have to admit they've been Deceived and that takes being humble.. Gotta big ego and reputation to uphold 🙄 😤
Sad Truth is as well, IT'S EASIER TO FOOL A PERSON, THAN TO CONVINCE THEM THEY'VE BEEN FOOLED!!!!
Debate him then😊
What did said about Sabbath day because we're living under the grace of God not by law
So what then shall we sin because we are under grace and not the law..God forbid...paraphrase
Many folks think because we are under grace means we can do or break any of God laws ..do u understand what being under grace means?
Having a debate about the Sabbath, does not convince anyone who does not want to believe, the joy is that it is the holy spirit who convinces. All we do is drop the seeds, which come to visible life through God's power. Let the Holy Spirit in due time convict his heart
I've never heard a sabbath keeper, SDA or otherwise preach Sabbath is the only day to worship. We worship God every day. However, the Sabbath was set aside as a special day of worship
"The people of Constantinople, and almost everywhere, assemble together on the Sabbath, as well as on the first day of the week, which custom is never observed at Rome or at Alexandria." -He as Sozomen, quoted in Ecclesiastical History, vii, 19, in A Select Library of Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers, 2nd Series, Vol. 2, p. 390 [written soon after A.D. 415].
God rules in the Kingdom of man..
He is more powerful than our religious minds.
Out of time and seasons.
Beyond human comprehension
Cannot be confined to a particular time of the day or season...
Pastor Gino ruffled some feathers with this one I actually learned something just now
I think he proved the point the Sabbath was at creation when God ended his work an rested, memorial to remember it not to forget!!! I don’t believe people are doing these things maybe some but not all… it’s in revelation about sabbath an what about Sunday law that’s not of God ? Asking
"During this indefinite time a considerable amount of a sort of theokrasia seems to have gone on between the Christian cult and the almost equally popular and widely diffused Mithraic cult, and the cult of Serapis-Isis-Horus. From the former it would seem the Christians adopted Sunday as their chief day of worship instead of the Jewish Sabbath."-H. G. WELLS, "The Outline of History" (Newand Revised), page 543.
💯%GODS 4th Commmandment is Remember The Sabbath ❗️PERIOD….
The sabbath was charged from Saturday to Sunday.by the grace of THE ALMIGHTY i WIIL KEEP THE SABBATH
Colossians 2:16-17 KJV
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: [17] Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
I believe that eontext is essential to the interpretation of scriptures. Some of the explanations you gave concerning the Sabbath were clear. I have questions for you on the areas which were not. Ill text them to you as soon as i'm able to.
Amen Gino is one of the greatest preacher ever ✝️🙏 wow this preaching is deep
The commandment is written in your mind and your heart now. It simply means it remains in us now for us to follow and rest on christ as we all walk in the path of righteousness.
This pastor says at 9:05 that “Adam” wasn’t created yet when God rested on the seventh day of creation 🤔 and he calls himself an “apostle”???
"Modern Christians who talk of keeping Sunday as a 'holy' day, as in the still extant 'Blue Laws,' of colonial America, should know that as a 'holy' day of rest and cessation from labor and amusements Sunday was unknown to Jesus. .It formed no tenant [teaching] of the primitive Church and became 'sacred' only in the course of time. Outside the church its observance was legalized for the Roman Empire through a series of decrees starting with the famous one of Constantine in 321, an edict due to his political and social ideas." -w. w. Hyde, Paganism to Christianity in the Roman Empire, 1946, p. 257.
Now when the Congregation had broken up.many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul. Barnabas who Speaking to them peruaded them to Continue in the grace of God (44 ON. The Next Sabbath almost the Whole City Came together to hear the word. Of God Acts 13; 43- 44
We are to be as Yahusha Ha'Mashiach. Yahusha kept the seventh day Sabbath. Rome changed the day to Sunday. Yahuah Almighty never changed it.
"Rites and ceremonies, of which neither Paul nor Peter ever heard, crept silently into use, and then claimed the rank of divine institutions. [Church] officers for whom the primitive disciples could have found no place, and titles which to them would have been altogether unintelligible, began to challenge attention, and to be named apostolic." -William D. Killen, The Ancient Church, p. xvi.
Am wondering why he went to verse 23 of Leviticus 23 and verse 3 would let the congregation know the shabbat must be kept.
HOLINESS IS ONE THING MY RIGHTEOUSNESS IS ANOTHER KEEPING THE SABBATH IS NOT JUST BEING HOLY IN LIVING HOLY BUT IT'S ALSO BEING RIGHTEOUS AND LIVE IS RIGHTEOUSNESS THEY ARE TOO DISTINCTIVE DEFINITIONS AS BEING PURE
Luke 23:55 And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. 23:56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
If Jesus was teaching that the Sabbath was done away with, why the women did not anoint his body knowing that he was the Son of God?
In Sabbath act , then I acknowledge that this man is a arrogant and a blasphermy.
Which day that God BLESSED and SANCTIFIED???
Seems we all agree on easter friday and resurrection morning but cant agree on the seventh day
"It would be an error to attribute ['the sanctification of Sunday'] to a definite decision of the Apostles.
🙌🏾🙌🏾agreed
The work is so hard God had to send is Holy Spirit to held.
You can worship any day of the week but only the Sabbath Day was made Holy!
Luke 6:6-11
On another Sabbath He entered the synagogue and was teaching; and there was a man there whose right hand was withered. The scribes and the Pharisees were watching Him closely to see if He healed on the Sabbath, so that they might find reason to accuse Him. But He knew what they were thinking, and He said to the man with the withered hand, “Get up and come forward!” And he got up and came
Also God says that his word never changes and that he does not change his mind,
1 Samuel 15:29
Also the Glory of Israel will not lie or change His mind; for He is not a man that He should change His mind.”
Exodus 31:16 ESV
Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever.
Any how you are not worshipping God on his Holy Sabbath you are not keeping the COMMANDMENTS
In 1986 Italian Seventh-day Adventists first signed an agreement with the Italian government, in accordance with article 8 of the Italian Constitution, which regulates the relations between the Republic and religious minorities. Three successive agreements were later signed
Sabbath means rest six days you labor and do your work and on the seventh day is the Sabbath of the lord thy god
8:33 We're not under the old testaments?!!! Last time i checked, the word of God was 66 books.
Humble yourself and follow God' instruction...who wrote the book of Genesis?
To be clear POWER is His Holy Spirit. The works of the flesh is describing a sinner who does not follow the laws of God. The fruit of the Spirit describes a person following the laws of God. The Sabbath is one of the LAWS. If you break one you break all. Ijs
God is spirit he rested on the Sabbath day. How much more do you, Pastor
Preach Bible talking! Straight from scripture! Amen Amen
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 praying for all of God’s people
Question, did God bless a day?
Pastor Gino your argument is week. Jesus kept the Sabbath, His disciples kept it after Christ went back to heaven for many years .Paul spoke to both Jews and Gentiles on the Sabbath Day.
People Follow Jesus example.....as his custom was He went to the synagogue on the Sabbath Day.
God Sabbath will not disappear because man breaks it.
God Sabbath will not disappear because Pastor Gino can argue that it has been abolished at the cross.
God Sabbath remain because the God of the Creation Sabbath is still alive and as long as God is alive his creation sabbath will be alive. MEN
SATAN SAID to EVE"" YOU SHALL NOT SURELY DIE''.PASTOR GINO IS SAYING YOU SHOULD NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE FOURTH COMMANDMENT WHICH IDENTIFY GOD AS THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH.
FOLLOW THE BIBLE BROTHERS AND SISTERS ....REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY TO KEEP IT HOLY .PASTOR JENNINGS cannot speak the truth because the truth is not in him.
Christ said if you love me keep my commandants, and he said he came not to change the law. The killing of animals was done away with not the 10 commandants.
Jesus if you love me keep my commandments....
What are Jesus's commandments??
Let's not be confused...
Jesus commandments are
1. Love God.
2. Love your neighbour...
Period.
@@thomashua3356…and where does God explain exactly how you love him and your neighbor? The Ten Commandments.
Colossians 2:16-17 KJV
