Rotation is one of my biggest swimming challenges (that and sinking legs), and I’m glad that you’ve addressed it in two videos. It would be great if you also showed the swimmer’s entire body for several strokes. Typically, the videos just show the upper body or the lower body, and occasionally the whole body, or the camera is fixed and the swimmer swims by as in 3:16. I would like to see, from the side, how the entire body moves for one complete length of the pool. Love the channel, and have learned a lot!
Off topic, but it would be great for your fans if you publish which events you’ll attend, and have a meet & greet. You could partner with one of your sponsors, sell GTN items, hold a Q&A, conduct a live interview with a triathlete, or even host a workout session. Every time I see the clip of Mark running through the Presidio (in San Francisco), I think that I must have just missed him, because I run the same course. It would just be a nice way for your fans to show you our appreciation. fwiw, I had never heard of the companies until I started watching your videos, but because I saw the presenters wearing and reviewing them, I now cycle with Roka glasses and run in ON Running shoes. Hope your sponsors heard that!
As someone who had a neck injury as a kid, I struggle with this, a LOT. It affects my ability to breath properly a lot too, and I rarely can do more than half a race as freestyle and have to do breast stroke instead. I've thought about seeing if I qualify for a snorkel but I'm just so embarrassed especially since it's not like I can't move my neck it's just harder and gives me headaches sometimes. Hopefully I can use this to get better
Thank you for another very helpful video. Left me wondering if anyone's ever found a pool in North London that permits the use of a training snorkel and if that's an issue.
Like the videos but can I suggest when you show the incorrect technique in the water you put a Red Cross on the bottom of video or corner or faint across the video. Green tick in corner when correct. It would help with the visual connection whilst listening
I do over rotating in single arm stroke while one hand is in the front and the other one is doing single arm stroke. And this drill has made my over rotation so much worse😕
In my recent Olympic race last Sunday my Garmin recorded about 1700 m instead of the expected 1500 +/-. Thanks to your video I know it's due to my snaking :-)
I would rather give you a thumbs up if and when you respond,, i HATE to be that way, but, i write and not answered too often. that is almost what I like as a breather, going straight up with goggles, but, i want to breath through my nose as the unimask.
Have you experienced this issue? How did you fix it? Let us know!
I’ve been trying to figure it out for a long time. This video is a great help. Thank you!

Don't worry - we've got loads of new swimming videos coming soon!

Thanks for the useful video! One takeaway here is to keep the arms at 11 o clock and 1 o clock. I’ll try and see if that helps!
Thank you so much! I have been having this issue for a long time and very few videos address this.

So with the catch up Drill are you advising to catch up slightly under the water and not on the surface?
My problem with snaking is in backstroke. Can anyone help?

Ohh snaking... can you make a video on how to stop snacking? I'm currently in bed having my midnight snack of ice cream.
Not sure what the magic answer is for that problem!
Eat bananas triptophan to sleep and only fruit sugar too.

Why is it that Michael Phelps kind of swimsuit like that yet he doesn't rotate that much but he swims like that somewhat
Crossing arms will make you snake. Arms hitting your head will make you lose coordination
Filming talking in noisy pull doesn't help us.
