I am very glad that fire was taken care of quickly. Yikes. Having the park to yourself must be a serene and relaxing experience. That spot looks like a great star gazing place. I hope you had at least one clear night.
I stayed at Santa Rosa State park a couple of weeks ago. Stayed at Jupiter ine night then moved to Rocky Point campground loop B for three nights. A trailhead was right next to my site. I walked it a couple of times. The bathroom was in good shape. I enjoyed staying there.
Nice park. Az has a fire hazard level alerts. You all was quick to put it out. Like the park tour, at least we know what to expect. End the video the way you want. At least they're not the generic endings.
You should visit both Ute lake and Conchas lake just a little to NE of you. Just as scenic as what you have there. Also stopping at Blue Hole in Santa Rosa is a must!
Mr John, all the videos we enjoy are always in the daytime, and of course we can see all the adventures! But what is it like at these sites, especially boondocking- how is it at night?
I am glad you didn’t come across a tent camp. It would have been sad to see people getting all sunburned while they chased there stuff blowing away in the wind.
John, long time subscriber. What's with all these short videos! Getting to be too much. Really a big distraction from what your channel's attraction - state parks.
Subscriber for a couple of years. I like the short ones as I have the attention span of a knat. I too look forward to watching the longer informational ones as well. Whatever you are doing...it all inspired me to get out and go camping! Thank you John, great job!

Fire is scary, especially in a state like New Mexico where the winds are strong. So glad you got it out. Nice park. TFS.

John how far are you from civilization in case of an emergency? I love it but I am concerned if medical need arises!
Come on.....bad thinking!!!
Thank you for everone of potential rattle snakes. While some people are used to them being a part of their environment, not everyone is.
