Since their work on Max Payne 3 I've been a big fan of HEALTH, their songs have this intensity and - at the same time - melancholy that fits very well the mood of Cyberpunk, specially Edgerunners.
I’ve loved 2077 since day 1 despite its shortcomings and this anime made me appreciate it and its universe even more. Thank you Mike Pondsmith and thank you CDPR for bringing his universe to the spotlight.
This anime had the same affect as Arcane had on me, it's crazy to think the songs that came from both of them can relate to how my life is going or how I'm feeling...
it's funny how even though I finished and enjoyed the game... i was only lukewarm to it back when it released. after seeing this anime twice, i've since gone back to the game and am now OBSESSED with this world!!! I swear, I can't get enough of it.
i remember playing max payne 3 on the xbox360, and in the last mission they used one of HEALTH's songs (i think it was "tears"). His style fits perfectly with this series. Top tier soundtrack.
One of the most heartbreaking scenes ever, I hadn’t even heard this song in full but I recognized it from an earlier scene and man it gives you a feeling like no other, melancholy, gloom, regret, it fits with David and the scene so much, incredible song. Cyberpunk’s soundtrack will stand the test of time as one of the greatest ever. The moment I saw David beefed up after episode 5 with all the new implants I knew things were going to go south and wouldn’t end well for David 😢 seeing him spiral like that was one of the saddest things ever. And this scene with Lucy briefly seeing David on the moon happy and then disappearing, her sad expression after…… DAMMIT THE PAIN NOOOOO! God this show is absolutely amazing, I’ll never forget it for the rest of my life
First time i heard in Max Payne 3 during airport and ending scene. Even though lyric is different, it really was good while playing back then. Really brings back memories.
This song got me thinking about leaving my job. I'm in a toxic work place but there's nowhere else that's better paying or a better workplace in my area. Looked for months. Felt like there was no way out. But life's short and I'm young. Now I'm about to start pilot school to be an airline pilot.
I keep thinking how they kept showing David jump over the edge out of his house every morning. Foreshadowing how he was never afraid to keep pushing forward even into his own downfall. Cyberpyschosis
As much as I just plain wasn't a big fan of the show, I'm glad to see HEALTH getting some recognition again. They did some goddamn great work on the Max Payne 3 soundtrack, and this song seriously reminds me of that.
This is one of the best anime I've ever watched ! Everything about this series feels like a masterpiece. The sounds, the visuals, the characters, the drama. Let's hope we're gonna have more content like this in the Cyberpunk universe
Heard this song before watching the anime, great song but now watching the anime, seeing David and Gloria argue while this is in the background, hits differently and too close to home

Currently making my friend watch this anime with me. I have seen it before. They haven't. I just told them its a pretty amazing anime. I havent told them anything except theres sick action and the music fucking slaps. I need them to go through what I went through.

bro, I watched edgerunners at launch and when I heard this song in the anime I remembered it there at the launch of the game 1 year ago, since the first time I heard it it gave me an indescribable nostalgia without ever having heard the song before, now after watching the anime I understand the nostalgia I felt
Soundtrack of the game and series really made it work like the series was serious emotional damage and really does credit to their respective artists, the series allowed the music to flow in a natural setting and allow us to feel and understand the story I had to watch it all threw first time I was hooked
This moment 0:40 breaks me because we realise that David was already losing his mind from the very beginning. Just like when people enter this vicious cycle of daily work routine with no vision. David's journey always reminds me of our fellow citizens worldwide who are surviving on the edge and could snap at any moment. Such lifestyle is often a form of suicide 0:53. The loss of his mother including the circumstances in which she died totally neglected without even saying goodbye was already intense but I believe David snapped when he terminated that one innocent nurse. That was the final straw.
This sounded so familiar when I first heard it this morning. Its nightime and im vibing and I realize that this song is by Health. The same band that did music for Max Payne 3. Tears is such a dope song.

i will never think about an anime can touch my mental like that i feel sad everyday now.
I love how the intro for edgerunners tell you exactly how it'll end.
This hit so hard after Heist.
it's funny how even though I finished and enjoyed the game... i was only lukewarm to it back when it released. after seeing this anime twice, i've since gone back to the game and am now OBSESSED with this world!!! I swear, I can't get enough of it.
i remember playing max payne 3 on the xbox360, and in the last mission they used one of HEALTH's songs (i think it was "tears"). His style fits perfectly with this series. Top tier soundtrack.
Health are a band. They also did the Blue Monday cover for Atomic Blonde, you should check it out as well
One of the most heartbreaking scenes ever, I hadn’t even heard this song in full but I recognized it from an earlier scene and man it gives you a feeling like no other, melancholy, gloom, regret, it fits with David and the scene so much, incredible song.
Tears - HEALTH sounded so similiar, this song brought me straight back to the airport level
i got the same flashback
Always loved Health, such an underrated band
The name of the song is Major Crimes by HEALTH
Thanks I was looking for the name!
@@Golden_122 bro it's literally in the title
@@waffelju395 the title of the vid was expanded post-comment
@@Pinkus_ oh okay. Didn't know that
The collaboration of an ever expanding story and a phenomenal studio gave birth to Edgerunners, leaving many emotional scarred for life.
This is one of the best tracks I've ever heard in anime on the emotional scale alone
crying again :c
Same. The ending left me really fucking depressed yesterday when I watched it. There are no Happy Endings in Night City
“Test of a person’s true value? Death. Facing it. Staring it down.” - Johnny Silverhand
This song got me thinking about leaving my job. I'm in a toxic work place but there's nowhere else that's better paying or a better workplace in my area. Looked for months. Felt like there was no way out. But life's short and I'm young. Now I'm about to start pilot school to be an airline pilot.
“The sun feels so real!”-David
Man I love this anime
One of my favorite cyberpunk songs , I always listen to this one in the game it just captures the vibes so beautifully
Edgerunners turned this from a vibin song to a cryin one
Watched it five times now, cant stop, we really need more cyberpunk content. Official lego sets, more comics, mangas and animes.
For only 10 episodes this anime was insanely well done from start to ending.
Incredible….
David's decent into madness was great man. This song hit it perfectly, and the part where he gets picked up in the car was so good.
I keep thinking how they kept showing David jump over the edge out of his house every morning. Foreshadowing how he was never afraid to keep pushing forward even into his own downfall. Cyberpyschosis
I finally watched this and then went to beat the game this show was a masterpiece I wish there wasn’t only one season
Damn...this really turned out sad. So much for a good watch, this got me depressed
The opening sequence here when David is going through cyber psychosis is so awesome.
This song is brutal
This song is one of my all time favourites
Most slept on track by FAR
As much as I just plain wasn't a big fan of the show, I'm glad to see HEALTH getting some recognition again. They did some goddamn great work on the Max Payne 3 soundtrack, and this song seriously reminds me of that.
Life sometimes really feels like there is no way out
This song slaps 😩….🥹
This song makes any situation 50x heavier and more panic stricken
Underrated song of the show. The feels man.
Everything about the series is a masterpiece. The music, the cinematography. It deserves an Oscar for sure
This video + song has an amazing vibe
This is one of the best anime I've ever watched ! Everything about this series feels like a masterpiece. The sounds, the visuals, the characters, the drama. Let's hope we're gonna have more content like this in the Cyberpunk universe
Heard this song before watching the anime, great song but now watching the anime, seeing David and Gloria argue while this is in the background, hits differently and too close to home
i really like the show. they captured the same feel from the game with V and put it in anime for with david. just heartbreaking through and through. but they both accepted their fates and went through with them.
Man just finished this like 20 mins ago and I'm still crying 😭
Currently making my friend watch this anime with me. I have seen it before. They haven't. I just told them its a pretty amazing anime. I havent told them anything except theres sick action and the music fucking slaps.
I need them to go through what I went through.
Anime of the year no question. Absolutely fantastic, I can’t wait to see how it’s reputation grows over the years
Called it …..just saying
Cyberpunk is the ugly thruth about the future and I must cry every time when i hear it because it so perfect this song with this short movie.....and i hope the human race can find a way for a better future ....thx the upload and making.
Late to the party and now I feel like I’m going through the feels alone 😢
Same mate. We’ll get through this together 😣
You aren’t man. Watched it three weeks ago and I’m still affected 😭
Cheers boys
Unfathomable pain.
Every time I hear this, I can't help but open Cyberpunk 2077. Every time, without fail, it draws me back into Night City.
bro, I watched edgerunners at launch and when I heard this song in the anime I remembered it there at the launch of the game 1 year ago, since the first time I heard it it gave me an indescribable nostalgia without ever having heard the song before, now after watching the anime I understand the nostalgia I felt
Honestly one of the best edits iv'e seen in a longtime. Well played.
please dont ever take this down. best and fav vid so far
Health just perfectly captures the atmosphere of this universe
Still one of my absolute favorite anime's. I never thought a 10 episode game based anime could be so impactful.
The pain ... it won't stop
@Yue wot
The Pain... Never goes Away
thanks for no spoilers bro. awesome edit.
i like how david cyberpsychosis also has his sandevistan as it was part of his body
Such a fire show I swear I don’t think they could’ve done better
Perfect song to have an existential breakdown to
É incrível como essa música captura tão bem a atmosfera de edgerunners!
Damn the scene of the beginning hit me so hard, everything looks the same but it's not anymore..
When this comes on, I stop going to the mission and wait til it's over.
Imagine you are in the middle of the night and smoking with this song
Каждый вечер пересматриваю по 5 раз, в традицию зашло(((( грустно, очень грустно.....
I sincerely do not recommend listening to that while being in a tough situation/moment of your life chooms
