Thank you for this video. I bought these fake ones from fb marketplace thinking they are real (naive me) and trust me they looked exactly the same. They even had samsung logos everywhere so I didnt even get a doubt. It wasnt connecting to my wearable app so I tried everything, restarts, unpairing and pairing again etc and nothing worked. I talked to samsung support and they couldnt help me as well. Then I noticed the serial number on package is different from the serial number on case. Then I realized its fake one. And I confirmed it is fake from this video.
You'll have to be extra careful from where and whom you buy it from.
Now I've confirmed mine is fake but really really identical to the real one
This happened to me too. I got some buds from a 2nd hand marketplace, and they had the voice "power off" thing. The cable was wrong, and they did not connect in Galaxy Wearable. Thankfully, the seller who was also tricked by this as well, offered me a refund.
Are you sure the seller was also tricked, or did they say that to avoid getting told off to the authorities for selling counterfit products as orginals?
@@deviantmoore9744 No, he defenetly bought them for himself and thought they were crap like that. He got himself some Sony buds in the meantime and I did get the refund. From what I could tell, he wasn't really tech savy
Me too :-( Marketplace $60 - I didn't think twice because they were previously owned but went INSANE trying to connect them to the Wearables app. I was literally screaming over frustration. The fakes DO work though at least. Fortunately I do have a fantastic set of Bose headphones - I'm not really an ear bud fan anyway but need them for a couple reasons.
@@lisaiedema2746 I'm sorry you had this bad luck too. While fakes do work, they usually sound terrible and are not worth It. I really suggest you try getting a refund. If you get some real buds, they really are worth It. Good luck!
But here in Europe our box is not the same as your and is original
I have lost the original.case...if im.using the fake one, doest it work for charging and size with original buds
Guys My dad bought me these in white and after a while they stopped connecting to my phone and after watcjing this there are many tell tale signs that thid is fake and he even bought it online for 110usd
Hi, you're wrong about wireless charging, the fakes indeed HAVE wireless charging (I was also surprised). And I got mine for less than 10$ on aliexpress. They sound pretty good for this value and as a workout pair they are fine
you are right but these are from Temu and there are different fake Galaxy buds. these in this video are like the lowest copies version. thanks for sharing your experience

I bought galaxy buds 2 at store of Samsung , when I mistakenly. Drop my case in water . And I go to service centre. They replaced my case so my question is , my Samsung case is orginal or no ,pls tell me

Grrrrr....I thought I was just buying used Samsung on Marketplace for $60 and considering the price from someone who's already owned them I didn't thing twice - not really an ear buds fan anyway so didn't want to spend $200 for new ones - I love my Bose headphones personally. SO ANYWAY after going absolutely INSANE trying to connect them to Galaxy Wearables App with the Galaxy Buds2 Pro extension STILL with no luck - I finally found this video. Well - at least they do play and I can use them in a few scenarios that I need buds over headphones. Also, I just tried registering them on the Samsung website and that really was my convincing point.
My bro has just bought these from a man but these were new ones and the man got them from usa. When I opened them I sensed that the packaging wasn't right - as smooth and opening it as satisfying as opening my new galaxy S23, then the cable was picked poorly like in the video and the headphones packaging was made from a really bad plastic which smelled like shit from china, the brand name was written badly also. Thanks for video so I could verify our fake buds

i search and i found this video now i know why those seller on facebok in Samsung earbuds selling their new for less than half the original and its sealed while mine i sell with less $10 sealed too that i purchase online with 90% of cost paid by Voucher.

wow my fake ones were spot on to the real except for that extra sensor and my fake weighed 36g instead of 52 and my app wouldnt pick it up. (which ebay seller is claiming cuz they're the "International" bs brand. haha what a joke, $60 was tgtbt maybe when the 3 come out

@jamaul1391 mine wouldn't stay connected with the Bluetooth. Phone in the kitchen. Would disconnect if I went upstairs. Ridiculous. Thank you Temu for cheap shit!

I used to thin mine is original until I saw a heavier one this morning. The major difference is the weight and the time the charging case lasts.
