I can’t wait, for the camp companion to get here, my wife ordered it for my birthday… I tried so hard to get the limited edition one, they sold out quick; been enjoying the channel for 3+ years now, you teach us so much.
thank you sir 🙏❤️😎👍
Good stuff Sir! Would you ever consider a subscriber outing? I like watching your videos but there's nothing like that hands on experience. I hope you had a spare sausage for Dino😂
That is an ideal camp site. To own a property with that would be amazing. You are my therapist! Watching these Sunday videos restores me. Thank you!
Oooh thats what i want to do one day
Hey Shawn,
With the 2 trees that were right in front of the cave, just further back, what about some kind of reflector or screen using them & making a wall of some kind?
I know, probably me making things more complicated, but this idea came into my head the moment I saw those 2 trees ( I forget the 1st time they're in the video, but they make another appearance around the 10:20 mark)
Got my coffee at the ready, it's Corporal time! Happy Sunday everyone.
Happy Sunday haha 👍
🍵
Happy Sunday☕️
Happy Sunday! 😊
Same here. Guud cup of coffee and corporals showtime! Happy Sunday to you all!
You have to admire this guy he lives in the woods once a week for the last 14 years
When I'm near woods I also tend to live in them. Unfortunately my house isn't in the woods. Otherwise I'd probably live in the woods 24 7.
No more Captain Caveman.
Say hello to Corporal Caveman.
I totally got the tarp reference too.
That's a fantastic SHTF retreat!
Interesting to think about previous
occupants over the past 1,500 years!
God bless ALL of us!
WWG1WGA
Awesome to consider, how many others and how far back man's kin have camped there
YES!!!! A Sunday video from the Corporal ❤. Good Morning everyone!!
Another great video, Corporal! That cave is rad! So much potential!
I did this once. Cooking in the cave made the cave warm all night long. I came prepared for a night of sleeping in the cold desert. In the middle of the night I threw off all my covers.
I'd call it ROCK Haven. Very cool. 😎. OUTSTANDING!
I've had this great idea I've wanted to share with you for awhile- you've probably thought of it already-
Make a bushcraft/ survival book using screenshots from your videos to illustrate. Have a chapter on fire building where you break down different techniques- especially the bow and spindle (like what type of wood to use for each piece, etc)
A chapter on water collection and preparation
A chapter on shelter building
A chapter on most used knots and lashings
Pack lists for different packs depending on situation or weight, etc
A chapter on your campfire recipes
A chapter on land navigation
Etc
Your videos are awesome. I'm an Eagle Scout and have grown up camping frequently and I still learn alot from your realistic, well- thought ideas and creativity. I think a book to consolidate the highlights of your videos and your most commonly used skills would be a huge hit. Thanks!
Another great video Shawn. While you were moving the leaves it occurred to me you have not broke out the custom branch rake in a long time! Take care, Jeff.
Another great video...always the best tips and skills...freedom for all people..
Cool video this week. Love the Flintstones cave. The military poncho is a great piece of gear. Thanks for all you do.
The heck with snakes. Worry about them ticks!
Yabba dabba doo, corporal in the woods, caveman style 🍻👍
Prehistoric? Ahhh, back in the day when only dinosaurs and Marines roam the Earth. Cracking heads, eating meat, and Dragging babes by the hair. Ooh Ra! Just a faded memory but I miss those days. ❤️
DH and I both enjoyed the video. The cave was cool. I did notice something on this video that I haven't seen in a while....a grin/quick smile. 👍 Whatever you are doing, keep it up. It looks good on you.
CORPORAL!!! What a GREAT VIDEO!!!! 👏😁👏 This was an awesome location, and a really cool cave! Great video work, as well! I so appreciate all that you do, including your work out videos, where you can see the transformation. So, I got myself some weights, an excersize ball, and have totally changed my eating habits, so that I get myself feeling and looking better. Thank you for being an inspiration in so many ways. Have a completely, outrageously, awesome day!!! Love our Corporal! 🪵🏕🔥👏🤗
Once again. Job well done.
Thanks for the video!
See you midweek!
Have a great week!
Excellent video Shawn. Thanks for sharing.
Nice find, son. As a kid, I'd go hiking with my friends. A cave was always a big score. Once the dads checked them out, we were home free to plan a weekend sleep out. Of course they would stop by and check on us, but for the most part, we were roughing it. God I miss those days and friends.
Thanks for bringing that memory back.
"Outstanding " perfect spot to hunker down for the night.
Awesome stuff dude. The world needs more people like you. Keep it up.
It doesn't get any better than that caveman TV in a real cave, you the man. I can live without eggs but no bacon? 😁
I love the military tarp best thing ever to have in a pack 100%
Thanks for another great video. I look forward to them every week!
Great vid- Fred and Wilma’s starter home!
Another great video
I would have done your homemade Rake trick on them leaves if I was worried about Snakes 😂😂 Another great video
Nice find brother. Good video thank you. You are appreciated.🐕🦺🇺🇲
Thanks for another great video. Great use of natural terrain. Shows how quickly you can set up for a place to sleep for the night with minimal gear.
The caveman in me is envious.😉 outstanding!
Man this video takes me back to my childhood with me n my lil brother we used to go in these caves like this n camp out make fires…thanks Corp for this awesome banger man🫡
Don’t ever lose your sense of humor! You make my day lighter! I learned something new about smoke control. Great menu
Cool adventure. I like the property...
Sir, you, Kusk bushcraft and Black Scout Survival make me very happy. Thank you for what you do. I didn’t realize you were from Ohio until this video.
Allegheny mountains have that look. . ancient hills, rock formations. .. We used to camp in Zoar Valley gorge Catteraugus creek ... Seneca's sacred ground ..
The thing I worry about in that cave would be a snake that wanted to cuddle in the night
In Ohio there is not much to worry about. It's rare that you come across A Timber Rattlesnake or a Copperhead. I have been in many caves and rock formations, traveled thousands of acres of land and types of terrain and have only seen a few Copperheads, and only 1 Timber Rattlesnake. So ya not much to worry about, I think your more likely to get hit with a tornado in Ohio then bitten by a venomous snake.
Looking forward to it all Corp.
That may be the best camping spot ever.
Hello from Oklahoma! Good Video. That cave is a Cool find! I'm surprised we didn't see the Corporal Kelly Rake for all those leaves. I still use that trick. Thanks for all U Do! God Bless!
Wow man that's an amazing spot you found. Flintstones would be proud of you lol!!! One more AF outstanding video. Thank you sir👏👏👏
Like the Flintstone house!!! Wish there was a hillside on our place like that!!!
Even though I'm a subscriber, You Tube stopped recommending your videos about a month ago and I had to manually search for them.
There are caves like this all over the Arkansas Hills. And yes they all have arrow heads in them!
You made another Sunday outstanding AF!
Corpo I did an overnighter under a rock a few months ago, it was one of my favorite ever ! It is in a place with lots of caveman history, too.
I would love to find a cave and spend a few nights in it great video.
That's an awesome spot to camp
I have always loved camping in a natural rock formation .
This video was awesome. Ready made saves a lot of time and energy. Thank you sir for another Sunday fun day.. Catch you on next video
Just dropping in to say thanks for updating the overnighter playlist order so I've been rewatching them all again from oldest to newest. Noticed a few others changed to. Started from the top and now I'm down to the Walmart survival challenge video again lol. Thanks for noticing the comment and considering it.
Awesome spot, reminds me of the spot behind our house in Rockbridge, Ohio when I was growing up
Using the environment and adapting to make things better. Excellent.
Well long waited to get to this day to watch another great overnighter Thanks Corporal.
Great video sir. Cave camping has always seemed very primal.
I'd love to see you expand on that cave shelter, with some add-on building.
As a kid in KY. Ive camped under alot of overhangs like that. We were always able to build our fires under the overhang and the smoke always rolled out from under it. Was able to have a fire even in the rain. Great video Corporal.
Love the camp video remind me of some of my ventures when I was young. I used to venture out and look for places to have an adventure I didn't know what I was doing cuz I was young but I sure had a good time fishing and camping and enjoying nature I did pretty damn good if I say so myself my first adventure was about 9 years old and I continued on to my 50s thanks for your instructional videos never too old to learn something God bless you get bless our military and our veterans
I love all your videos!!! Thank you. You are a true inspiration!!
Another outstanding video. I learn something every time I watch. I never served but I enjoy the military gear too. It’s not as lightweight as some of the backpacking gear but it’s rugged and tested. I would rather have good gear I can depend on rather than lightweight gear that tears or breaks easily. Another great point. Everyone should test their backup/survival gear in a non emergency situation. Thanks!
Happy Sunday, great video as always. So glad you’re here. Wouldn’t miss it for anything. 💯 supporting you brother from another mother. Thank you again for all you do 😎
Attending a class would be very cool indeed. I’m going to be off this chemo by early summer. Can’t complain though, because this time last year I was literally about to take a dirt nap because of the tumor in my head won’t take a year or two off. Cheers big guy.
Man Cave…Corporal Style
As always, love your videos
This looks like my Ozark Missouri stomping grounds. So many shallow caves and overhangs. My young son wants to camp under or inside one every time we come across them on our hikes. This video is ideal inspiration. Thank you. Do have to be careful about copperheads though. I’ve had too many close encounters.
You got to come to arkansas..there's lots of parks around here..
And/or the Missouri Ozarks. The St. Francois Mountain Range is a beautiful area for the likes of the Corporal.
Ah, my favorite show. Corporal Caveman!
Ive always heard wet rocks can explode, have you ever had something like that happen?
Awesome looking property. Looking Good..
🇺🇸🇺🇸🪓🔪👍👍
And now the fun starts
Got my coffee and watching the Corporal!!
Loving the cave!! I hate snacks. Great video! My brother was Lieutenant Colonel in Marine Corps better not talk shit about gear. My mom had his first footlocker for years! Semper Fi!
You should made a rake to move the leaves. I love your rakes😂
Reminds me of Hocking Hills...lovely place!
Always love the idea of cave shelters, sure I’m related to the cavemen. Got the zipper hoodie nice good looking high quality item.
I love cave challenges
A simple....thank you for the video of a reality-based experience. Please bring more of that type.
I really hope you do build something cool in there cause your programs are awesome
Man don’t I wish I had some places like that!!! Very cool video and soooo much less labor intensive than you normal builds!!! Great stuff here sir thanks !!!
That's awesome! I wish I had some properties with those types of rocks and caves! That was close to my dream property, I would just need a waterfall on the property!
Caves: The penthouse luxury apartments of the post-nuclear war era.
Almost the old corporal! Working hard for us couch rangers!
Yay! Let's gooooo
Watching you make that leaf bed had me smiling, it’s seems to not have stopped raining here in the UK 🇬🇧 since October, everything is soaked. Nice cave camp.
No one can claim you don't work your tail off doing these videos every week
Great time out in a natural shelter. Would love to see more of these as those outcrops hold a ton of knowledge. Thanks for sharing 😊
I am so sorry I missed this Corporal I had a lot to do Sunday
Endless possibilities with that cave too
I was so waiting to see the Indian Jones snake pit clip.
Looks like a great new place for more videos. Enjoy your adventures over the next couple weekends.
Omg,, Stealth camping in a cave with just a Poncho... beautiful.. was thinking a 55 gallon drum Liner..ijs
Love the cave Shawn. Your videos get better and better. Keep up the good work
I would be back there camping a lot. That's A great place.
That looks like a comfy little spot you found.
Would love for you to come to Texas for your classes!
Dude, by far one of your best. You can tell things are going well and that is awesome AF. Did you get new mics. Noticed the ear pieces.sounded great. Loving it lately brother.
great video. neat shelter, like it a lot. stay safe.
Outstanding
Military gear works because people use it and depend on it so it has to be great gear
Damn I wish I had a place like that to camp. East Texas is all pine lol
that really dose look cozy.
