I like seeing the spotlight on more centrist, moderate Republicans. As someone who is very liberal myself, I feel like, if we are going to improve the country, we need to find a new _center,_ and that is going to require movement on both sides. In 2016, I voted in the Democratic primary for Bernie Sanders, but this year, I voted in the Republican primaries. I was initially planning to vote in the Democratic primaries, but I realized that I had a really hard time deciding whether I wanted to nominate candidates that were further left, reflecting my own ideas, or further center, reflecting greater compromise and the possibility of bi-partisan cooperation. However, I had no trouble deciding between Republican candidates that were further right, reflecting wanton bigotry, anti-intellectualism, and economic stratification, and more centrist Republicans, like Ana Navarro here. I decided that my primary votes would do more good trying to tug the Republicans back to the center than influencing the Democratic party. Whether the Democrats went left or center on a given seat, I am already content with their nominees and ready to vote for them in the general election.

I like seeing the spotlight on more centrist, moderate Republicans. As someone who is very liberal myself, I feel like, if we are going to improve the country, we need to find a new _center,_ and that is going to require movement on both sides. In 2016, I voted in the Democratic primary for Bernie Sanders, but this year, I voted in the Republican primaries.
I was initially planning to vote in the Democratic primaries, but I realized that I had a really hard time deciding whether I wanted to nominate candidates that were further left, reflecting my own ideas, or further center, reflecting greater compromise and the possibility of bi-partisan cooperation. However, I had no trouble deciding between Republican candidates that were further right, reflecting wanton bigotry, anti-intellectualism, and economic stratification, and more centrist Republicans, like Ana Navarro here. I decided that my primary votes would do more good trying to tug the Republicans back to the center than influencing the Democratic party. Whether the Democrats went left or center on a given seat, I am already content with their nominees and ready to vote for them in the general election.
Having Ana and Trevor together is just a delightful moment of truth and joy.
There are not too many Republicans that I would hug but Ana is certainly one.
