I adore the Destiny Tarot, it's one of my favourites - the artist Jacqui Mair does beautiful soft, evocative collage prints etc, and she says she had enormous fun creating this deck, and I think it shows! I did trim the white borders off mine and I think it makes the art pop a lot better, and you still get the lovely sun peeking on the back!
Yes the majors are beautiful! I haven't fallen in love with this deck so I'm thinking of rehoming it without altering it. I'm sure it'll be the perfect deck for someone out there :)
The Love Tarot! The deck that started it all for me. My mother gave me The Love Tarot for Christmas in 1995. It was my first deck. I was so intrigued with the cards, a few weeks later I went out and purchased my first 78 card deck. I cherish my copy of The Love Tarot. ❤
Aww wow that's such a sweet story 🥰 how do you use a major arcana deck? It's my first one like this and im not sure what to do with it..but i loveeee the images !!! I really wish it was a full 78 card deck , it would be the perfect deck
@@divinecycles1847 I use Major Arcana decks two ways… as a significator card when I’m doing a reading for someone else, or as the present card in a 3-card past-present-future spread.
do you have any good books or online resources recommendations to learn to read with this deck? The deck only comes with a little white booklet and only have keywords for the major arcana and nothing for the pips cards :(
I prefer pip decks personally as that's what I learnt with. My very first deck was the colourful Fournier Marseille and I ended up writing little keywords on the minors - the book which finally cracked Tarot for me was one by Jonathan Dee which had a keyword system based on a cross between RWS and Thoth. That's the keyword system I've used ever since and I still prefer to read with pips because they make the majors and courts stick out more in a reading and I like that.
Ohh yes the fournier TdM quickly became one of my all time favorite decks!! I loveee the bright colors. If I'm in the mood for pips, i go for TdM :p the artwork is more evocative for my reading style. Also, thanks for the book recommendation! I will surely check it out 🥰
The destiny deck have a cut the boarder style they are lovely and have a good energy. The 1970's deck is my favourite, the the yes and no red black and white dek, then the destiny deck. they to me are the best in your haul, congratulation on this deck haul and sharing Cheers
