/ Here's my own piano transcription of the main themes from a soundtrack I really really love very much. It's composed for the anime "Tales from Earthsea" (ゲド戦記) by Tamiya Terashima (寺嶋民哉). The anime was directed by Gorō Miyazaki, the son of famous Hayao Miyazaki btw.

I first watched this movie in Japanese and afterwards found myself crying because the theme of the music is so haunting and beautiful. I recommend the Joe Hisashi budoken concert and listen to that as it has a paino piece of Howls moving Castle in it that is played by the man himself. Love, Ghibli.
As much as I love Hisashi Joe, he didn't compose this music. Tamiya Terashima did.
