Hi Melissa, I feel like most of us go thru a period where we loose our motivation to get going sometimes. I know I certainly do. It’s more I have to get done when I get it back tho. 🧺til the end ❤
Yes I agree I’ve definitely have gone through phases where I don’t have the desire to get my house chores done. When I get out of these phases I have to mentally prepare and say to myself that I got to do this that’s when I will change my wax melts and set my diffuser.
You are definitely not alone in the no motivation zone. I get like that too. I usually do a reward system for myself. Haha I try to just tell myself if I get the daily tasks done then I will do one good thing for myself. Whether it is an extra self care thing or I put my comfy lounge clothes on early and read an extra chapter in my book. It’s silly, but works for me. I never really thought about it before but we actually are team both in my house. I hang all my clothes up including my shorts and pants. The only clothing items I don’t hang are my pajamas and socks and under garments. My husband likes only his shirts hung and the rest folded. I think that I actually just started hanging all of my clothes because I hate folding clothes and since I don’t care if my pants etc. are folded versus hung I just started hanging everything as it was quicker to me. I just carry the hangers all to the bed that I need and zoom through it and hang it all up in one spot and be done versus some in the closet and then folding some and having to put them in a different spot. Which honestly only takes like a minute more- but with a chore I hate doing- every minute spent not doing it counts. 😂

Hi from Australia, I don’t use a dryer. Everything gets hung out on the lin to dry, then I fold at the line, bring in to put in drawers and put on hangers. Also I put my pillows on the line to air out in the sun every time I wash my sheets. Smells so good
Hi Shelagh! I love hanging clothes on the line! We did that growing up at my granny’s house and my dad‘s house. I am trying to convince my husband to put a line up, but he thinks the clothes turn out crusty lol. I think they’re fresh! ♥️

Yeah I’ve noticed that since I do my laundry at the laundromat. I’ll see most people hang their clean clothes at the laundromat. As for me I always fold my clothes then when I come home I’ll hang my clothes. If I’m not in the mood/don’t have time I’ll just leave my clean clothes in the laundry basket and hang when I get to it. I’ve once tried being my hangers with me and hang them while at the laundromat. I didn’t like it.
