This is despite the fact I had my suspicions the moment she was introduced, that were only further strengthened by the growing bond between her and Jinx (and by extension myself). I was hoping it would be an off-screen type situation, but this is Arcane and I should've known they wouldn't take half measures and go straight for my gut with a rocket powered nuke instead.
i think older sis, also in the flashback before his death they were playing and doing siblings things, there wasnt that much affection hugs scene that you could espect with a parent relationship
The thing about Isha is she was everything Powder actually wanted to be at her age. Isha was Beyond fearless when it came to protecting those who she loved. She loves Jinx so much until whoever Jinx hated, she also hates. But whoever Jinx loves she also loves. Isha was ready to fight Vi and kill Vi to protect Jinx. But once Jinx and Vi made amends with each other, she began to care for Vi too. And when everyone found out Warwick was actually Vander, their stepdad, she was willing to stand up and protect him too! She was a little soldier and badass too. I will always wonder how much more of a badass she would've been had she grown up. Probably stronger then Vi and more fearless than even Jinx.
3:02 the big difference between isha and powder is that isha knew what she was doing, from the moment she saw the hextech. she knew what she would do and what would happen to her. she chose jinx over herself anyway.
I don't know how Riot is going to do this, but I want Isha as a playable character on the table for now! I don't accept that this incredible character died. It was the only thing I didn't overcome in Arcane ;-;
If i were one of the writers for their upcoming media I would make Briar secretly Isha as it would explain so much as to y her personality is so in-line with Jinx's and because LB/Vlad r experiementing on corpses like Sion, etc it would only make sense to bring Isha back as Briar
Jinx is alive. So not for nothing. You see a final shimmer before her "death". And even Caitlin suspected she escaped through the tunnels. Not to mention the final frame had the Jinx writing. Definitely not for nothing.
She was protecting Jinx from the potential danger of Vander. Jinx was desperate to have Vander back so if it's not harm from his rage then I assume it's also stopping Jinx from making attempts to talk Vander (who's actually not there anymore) out of his rage. Although this is my own perception of why she sacrificed herself, I'm pretty sure that's why. Also she's a child who got caught in the middle of a fight and she needed to make a quick decision and she's a mute so she can't persuade Jinx to just back off and run away.
He was on a rampage and posed a deadly threat to everyone around him. Isha chose to sacrifice her own life to stop him, essentially acting as a last resort to save the others from certain death.
