God I miss playing out to a crowd of proper music lovers. For me, 1990-2000 was the best for house. There's really nothing like it. Feel the bass drop and just move! Thank you for this mix

I haven’t mixed with vinyl/turntables for about 30 years. I watch to the first mix and thought to myself, “is that incoming track racing a little?”. Like magic, your finger drops onto the platter and you pull it back a bit. I just smiled.
Mixing with vinyl is such an organic act, much more natural and seat of the pants than digital.

I mixed vinyl regularly 20-25 years ago. Nowadays, only occasionally. (I'm not a DMC champion :D ) I also like digital music, it has good things too, but vinyl is always something different, you're right! I feel it too!

I dj and I still do not know why so many djs fiddle with eq knobs and other knobs so much. I can do all I need in like 10 seconds. And never touch another knob till the next mix is coming in

I totally agree!! EQs can be mastered in about 10 seconds. No need for a SHOW!! Don't try to make the art seem more complicated than what it is. I've commented on many videos where I see the djs continue to "touch" knobs over and over but never move the settings. I used to be a 80s-90s dj, as an actual turntablist. Drives me nuts now😊😊
