Touching the faders and platters constantly can help with muscle memory and keeping in beat, kinda like tapping u r foot. These tunes are sweet
Kirk Thompson ...exactly. Turntable btmatching & blending very tough. Constant hand movement is keeping dj alert so the transitions are tight and the guy is not caught off guard. Sometimes the headphones trick you. You think u got it matched but when you push the fader, not perfect. OR sound levels very off between two vinyl dubpressing results. SO you gotta quickly tweak/nurse the platter very carefully, or adjust eq. This dj is just staying alert. Solid mix; this is becoming a lost art. I got technic decks, but bought some mp3 controllers recently. Was horrified to discover that they have raw mixing or complete beatmatch function! dang i feel old....

Le son est tellement chaud sur vinyle ! c'est dingue l'analogue, même si ça passe par youtube y'a vraiment une chaleur incroyable. J'ai l'habitude de dire que le vinyle c'est de la merde car le son est bousillé mais là ça apporte beaucoup de charme !!
TheBroRedSunLed Je t'avouerai que je préfère largement (pour le mix) le vinyl au cd et mp3...au moins, tu ne peux pas tricher.

I purchase my records mainly via german online stores (decks.de and deejay.de) sometimes from international stores (juno.co.uk) or, if already sold out here, on discogs marketplace (discogs.com). And last but no least i go shopping at my local munich record dealers (Public Possession and Optimal Records).
