In northern India, they mark the story of King Rama's return to Ayodhya after he defeated Ravana by lighting rows of clay lamps. In southern India, people celebrate it as the day Lord Krishna defeated the demon Narakasura.Though the aspects are different the celebration is moreover similar..we all love eating sweets,dressing up and bursting crackers in Diwali.
Types of people in Diwali Kids: We have to burst crackers Teenager: we have to enjoy with our friends. Adult: busy in cleaning house and decorations and buying stuff for festival. Senior citizens: Playing, Singing or listening to bhajan( religious songs) And praying to God.

We do not have a specific festival only for fireworks, but it is traditional in Portugal to use fireworks in popular festivals dedicated to the patron saints of towns and villages. Fireworks are also used to celebrate national holidays.
